Also, I don't think she'd force me out of music. But she might at some point be like "well we need to have your career be something stable enough blah blah" which I do agree with to a degree. I wouldn't want to be living in poverty either, and want to advance my career. But I don't want to be something I'm not, either. I'm trying to decide which of going to Pittsburgh or staying somewhere in China will give me the best opportunities and present less risks to my personal freedoms and development …

She seems to have a plan to make lots of money, herself. Following the business professional lifestyle. I don't know if I'm pigeonholing myself into something similar by committing to her? Because by the logic that if the woman I'm with can't truly appreciate what I care about and pursue, then wouldn't that be true of all people? In this case, there is no point to anything, and people should cease to exist. If everyone views each other as idiots for not being a carbon copy of themselves.

Excuse my suspicion of drugs being the key to enlightenment, haha.

In which case, the purpose of existing is to try to neutralize your existence?

You realize that being a musician, particularly a composer or performer, takes tons of dedication right? If you want to be on a level of making a living career out of it, it'll require much more than the standard 40hrs/week.

This is the case for my situation - I'm my girlfriend's first sexual partner. This makes me think I'm in a fortunate position and this may be vital to a better relationship.

So am I correct in understanding that your research suggests [less sex partners of woman = better lasting relationship?] Care to go in depth about how this was determined - purely statistically? If so, why might this be the case?

Had this same sort of questioning except my college buddy was asking repeatedly about why I don't identify as feminist.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
