So their hair has never been cut, combed or trimmed?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:13 AM

Men shave and trim, cut, comb and style their hair too, so that’s unnatural?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:10 AM

I prefer the woman I’m seeing without makeup and as she is. I don’t consider self care as being unnatural, combing your hair, trimming or shaving areas and deodorant don’t take away from her being natural. I don’t consider being natural being a heathen who doesn’t wash, wear deodorant or keeping their hair and nails clean and trimmed up. As for stretch marks and the rest, I don’t dislike stretch marks, they show she is real, lives her life and I’m happy with that. I do prefer she is fit, so not …

Nobody is out of my league, I choose who I would approach based on what I find attractive.

Ask her when a good time to grab coffee would be, you’d love to do it. Let her confirm when and do it. Make it and treat it like a date and see how it goes.

Not all men but I’ll say I would never marry someone I didn’t find sexually attractive and meet all my checkboxes. The woman in the post made it clear to him that she wouldn’t normally hook up with him which screams loud and clear she didn’t find him sexually attractive but everything else about him was perfect so she considered him husband material.

I have a slightly different take on your theory. People who are naturally trusting and giving also tend to be attracted by narcissistic and unethical people because they are easier to manipulate and control.

I would date an ugly woman who took care of herself, had a heart of gold, is respectful and has enough in common with me to keep me interested. Looks can fade and change while personalities rarely do. My experience with women is that the more attractive they are the less effort they feel they need to put into the relationship. I see this as ugly therefore most women I see as physically attractive also repulse me because of the way I have beed treated while dating their type in the past. That sai…

My advice has always been the following: Does he prioritize you and your feelings Does he make you feel safe Is he patient or demanding Does he expect equal energy day one A man who doesn’t do these things day one isn’t worth your time and effort and is likely just looking for a score, damaged or is emotionally a child.

Hard pass here. Focus on honesty, integrity, common goals and personalities, compatibility are extremely important and if both parties are emotionally intelligent and have good communications then why wait four or seven years? Not everyone is picky and too many settle on a partner they clearly aren’t compatible with and choose to overlook issues to get married.

You’re better off finding someone who is attracted to you than to try hard with her and hope. Spend your time and effort where you have a higher chance of success.

Maybe, mine just quit doing anything at all once the last kid moved out, decided she earned the right. She was SAHW too and I was working very long hours. I worked, cooked, cleaned and about the only thing I didn’t do was laundry. It got so bad before the end I wouldn’t use her bathroom because I refused to clean it for her and she was too lazy or unwilling. We are divorced now and she was devastated when I made it clear I was done trying. People do change, sometimes radically overnight but in m…

People do change, many times for the worse but maybe because I don’t fake who I am for anyone I cannot relate. My ex changed radically about eight years ago, 28 years into marriage and became very hard to deal with and made staying married to her almost impossible so I can relate to that.

It’s just my take but she married the guy knowing who he is and what he believes. If a woman wants a man who will be an active participant with event planning, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else that’s important to her she should vet these traits while dating. She some people fake it until marriage but it’s hard to fake genuine interest and partnership traits for too long. If this was important to her and the other wives they would have chosen men that display those traits and values but they …

Just my personal experience which is pretty limited. Women I’ve dated were either really supportive or they weren’t. I’m pretty damn emotionally aware as a man and relatively unafraid of working through my emotions as things happen which makes me a much more stable and accommodating partner. My experience with women who see this is weak is more often than not. I’ve learned to be emotionally available early in dating because it shows me whether they are a good match or terrible very early on. I’m…

I didn’t categorize anyone or say they were lazy. I am somewhat ambitious but incredibly competitive. I also prioritize my desires accordingly. If dating is important to them they need to prioritize accordingly and do what it takes. If not then they have removed themselves from the dating pool. It doesn’t make them lazy though, it’s a matter of choices.

If working full time leaves you with no energy for hobbies or socializing you have a very real time management problem and are prioritizing your life all wrong. I’m 54m, have a great job and usually work 45-60 hours a week, live by myself and do ALL my own cleaning, cooking and errands. I make time for myself, my health, my we being and I also make time for socializing and dating. I’m not super outgoing but I make the necessary time because nobody is ever going to do it for you and if you want i…

Way too many people get caught up in the tit for tat responsibilities. A partnership is always better when both people work on the relationship and daily duties in a way both people are happy. My GF and I are planning to move in together towards the end of the year and our plan is just this. A healthy relationship is always give and take and most people today seem to think everything is split like you said and reality is that trying to force it creates issues. People who love each other should b…

I am painfully aware of this. My GF ex can be described as this and several friend’s ex’s were that way. I’m not that way, I do enjoy sex but want her to want me, desire me otherwise I’d rather not whereas it seems many men don’t care either way as long as they get off.

Exactly! I want my partner/future wife to compliment my weaknesses and strengths so together we can be more than the sum of our parts.

As a man, what I want is a partner. A partnership isn’t equal in all aspects though because both people bring different strengths and weaknesses to the relationship. A true partner works with you equally to strengthen the relationship and complement each other.

I would choose Amy Schumer every day, all day because she is likable and Megan Fox is the opposite of likable.

I still hold the door for anyone, man or woman because it’s polite and not about sexism. If that’s creepy it just reflects on how poorly they’ve been raised by their parents and will likely end up with shitty men who have no respect for a woman because she clearly has no idea what a creep really is.

I have dated women mostly who look different than what I find most attractive my whole life. I have always found that I’m more physically attracted to women I’m emotionally connected to anyway and once I’m emotionally there, nobody else can compare physically or intellectually. If I’m attracted to her, I’m attracted and with emotional intimacy and connection the initial physical attraction is minimally important.

I prefer natural and maybe light makeup and no surgery. Everything else looks and feels fake and the last thing I want in my life is someone who is fake and not okay with their true self.

Cheating should be DV because at a minimum it’s emotional abuse. Lying, I would hesitate to say yes but maybe in some cases such as the level my ex did. I’m a man whose wife stole and misappropriated a huge sum of money and cheated leading to my divorce.

I care deeply about having a companion. Something in me craves to be wanted and needed, loved and to share experiences and intimacy. I was married 33yr until my entire life imploded and while the divorce itself was a very easy decision the most difficult aspect of it has been waking up alone, eating alone, being alone for long stretches of time, going days without speaking to anyone including my adult kids. I am fine “being alone” as in not with my ex wife because I cannot trust her which made t…

I’m pro-choice, consent to sex is absolutely consent to parenthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 11:15 PM

Our elected leaders owe their positions to corporations and very wealthy donors that helped get them into office. It’s those people that want cheap and uneducated labor and the politicians go along with it. Does anyone honestly believe these politicians are pious, honest and good people just trying to make a positive difference in the world? No, most of them want power control and are willing to lie, cheat and steal if they get what they want. The same people pushing for trickle down economics t…

He consented the moment he had sex with her, that’s the point I was making. You’re pretending his consent can be withdrawn, it can’t and shouldn’t. If he is opposed to having children he shouldn’t have sex period. This goes whether he is in a state that does or doesn’t allow abortions. In your opinion banning abortions is justified somehow because it evens the playing field for men and women which is a really screwed up and twisted PoV.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 10:57 PM

As a man, I know I have a choice to sleep with her or not, use protective measures and understand the risks. The woman is saddled with the responsibility of the joint decisions made if she gets pregnant and not the man. So it’s my belief that it’s HER choice to continue or terminate and she should listen to my input but can choose her own path. Any man that presumes it should be his decision is a fool.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 10:20 PM

Amen! And the woman that recently died because the fetus died and multiple hospitals refused to help her short the pregnancy even though the fetus was dead. She died from infection within a couple weeks.

What does support of LGBTQ+ have to do with the right of medical care being between an individual and their doctor? And WTF am I to tell anyone else how to live their life if I don’t want anyone telling me how to live? I’ll tell anyone who thinks they can tell me who to love to screw off.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 02:56 PM

The thing is, the abortion bans really only seriously affect the people who can least afford to leave the states they live in for the care they need. People with money a resources can travel to states and countries to get the ablations they need or want. There are some cases where women were force into situations that killed them or damaged them physically (looking at you Texas) but most of the affected women and their families are lower income people. The states want more cheap labor and what b…

Do they though? There is a massive number of men who are sad, lonely and depressed because they cannot find a partner. I would never say they are getting along just fine. They are living, yes. But many of them are living and miserable, hateful and depressed which is not fine.

I can attest to this! I crave that companionship, touch, intimacy and then sex. When the first three are there I want to have sex with her non-stop but know that’s not feasible. Without the first three I’d rather just not have sex with you no matter what you look like.

I’m in the US and have no problem paying for the date. It shows her I can and am willing to provide for her. Long term, as things progress I would expect a More 50/50 balance in how things are paid for and spent but during the early phases I have no problem at all showing a woman I am capable, willing and supportive of paying for dates. It’s part of the dating dance and too many men today feel that it should be 50/50 day one.

Ultimately you’re correct. Overall dating apps enable the top few percent of men to dominate the conversations with women who end up angry, jaded and feeling used overall because they believe the men that are talking to them are only talking to them or are experiencing what most men experience on the apps. Dating apps are like twenty men lining up and each woman gets to pick the guy with most women all choosing the same guy. He is busy AF, ghosts and treats them like shit because he has so many …

I’m not a top five prospect at all, no possible way however I continue to get matches and talk, all but one I have shunned as not right for me. Some have been gorgeous, some average and a few below average looking but I choose to talk to every one of them (it’s not thousands) but I personally want to know more about them than a dating profile can provide before discounting them as a potential date level match. What’s ironic is when had it set to any relationship I had way too many matches so I c…

You’re wrong, woman are much better at identifying and seeking treatment for it than men are but that doesn’t mean more women have mental illness more than men.

All love has conditions. They may be temporary or otherwise but love can be destroyed and it’s the things people do that ruin the joy and love that comprise those conditions. Even children that receive unconditional love have some conditions.

Your statement is reasonable. The problem with any relationship like that is communications. The guy isn’t hearing what she is saying until it’s a forest fire. Both people need to work to effectively communicate just how serious they are and both need to be able to listen and hear the message.
