Just some political gotcha law reacting to the overturning of roe v wade like those bills trying to criminalise masturbation as genocide. It's more to make a point about abortion than a serious bill in and off itself.

Dya know how "Stealthing" (purposely removing a condom secretly during sex) is considered rape as you don't have informed consent? I consider it to be rape when a woman lies about her contraception or what she's going to do if she does get accidentally pregnant.

Firstly I'm not a feminist, secondly my entire point is that equality should be achieved through the provision of more rights to men not the deprivation of rights from women. Your attitude is like advocating for other people to be pulled down to your level instead of yourself being pulled up to their level.

Just because something bad has happened to us/happens to us doesn't mean we should applaud bad things happening to the other gender. Should a man have a right to choose to be a parent? Yes but just because he can unethically be forced into parenthood doesn't mean it's good for the same to be forced upon women. The overturning of roe v wade is a blow for human rights across the board and if you can't see how that's bad for men too then you're obviously more into hating women then you are actually…

I don't think that that we should support bad things happening to women just because we feel short changed in our parental rights. Do I think men should have the option to opt out of parenthood? Yes. Do I think restricting women's right to do so is helpful to improving our rights in that regard? Absolutely not.

I saw so many people saying "well now they know how we feel not having a choice in being a parent" like can you not see how this whole thing is a step back for both genders.

Look, women aren't the enemy and I'm disturbed at the attitude of some of the men in these subs and similar have this sense of schadenfreude towards women because they somehow feel slighted by the rhetoric of feminists. You can hope for better for men without shitting on women in the process.

We've just replaced slavery with third world workers being paid a pittance to work themselves to death.

I mean it's a complete crapshoot, some things enabled mankind other things crippled their progress. For every Renaissance theres a dark age.

Or when their little niece Susie comes and says uncle Frank put his hand up her skirt at the dinner table they'll scream "Don't you tell lies about your uncle Frank like that!"

Nah it's not when the victim is male but when the perpetrator is male.

Ask a feminist if consent to sex is consent to being a parent and watch them dance around how it is for women but not for men.

Realistically what can an American feminist do to help Afghan women? Do you think the Taliban would give a shit about a US march? Or a petition? Anything short of military intervention to actually stop them is going to be laughable, so I don't really blame them for not doing much because there's not much they realistically can do. It's like if how I don't like what China is doing to the Uighurs but it's hardly like me and the lads can rock on down to the camps and liberate them 1945 style, we wo…

As long as it's non sexualised there's nothing wrong with it, it's like seeing fat women spilling out of clothes, do I find it personally repulsive? Yes, does that mean it should be banned due to my sensibilities? No because I'm free to simply look away.

Well to be assigned to one of the most respected and esteemed positions in the armed forces is quite an honour, to you it might seem boring but couldn't you say the same about a marine patrolling and guarding the tomb of the unknown soldier in America? It's a bit different when it's guarding something important.

I mean shit I can just type something out and stick it on the internet too, I find this really hard to believe because it would negatively portray the French and not really actually have any positive effect, preserving the peace of families sounds like hogwash because if they wanted to do that wouldn't they just ban divorce?

Historically and traditionally that was the wife's role she would be an asset who would be entirely responsible for running the house including budgeting and saving so the man's only worry was getting the paycheck in and doing any other traditional male jobs (repairing a fence, mowing the lawn) but with society and people nowadays such fabled partnerships rarely if ever exist especially in the west, they're a relic of the past

Most European countries have common sense laws around the age of consent and they're often lower than the United States (excluding the massively prevalent child marriage) i.e 15 in France and 16 in the United Kingdom

It's all about maintaining standards, that area wasn't supposed to be used by the general public hence the clear barrier, if he'd just ignored her what's to stop other people wandering into restricted areas and perhaps into places where they could cause an actual threat; Think of it like the Whitehouse, would walking under a barrier into a room you're not supposed to go in cause any real threat to the president? Very unlikely, would the secret service let that happen? I bloody doubt it.
