Finding a new lawyer after the divorce is final? So I wrote the draft agreement with my ex and sent to my lawyer and asked her to review it to make sure I am protecting myself. So she had her hands all over this language. So I saw this coming months ago and emailed her. It took her a month to say I would argue the shares werent worth anything but its up to a judge. The timing in response and lack of accountability over a agreement she helped finalize has me jumping ship. I have a consultation with a lawyer I previously interviewed and loved. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 04:50 PM
Finding a new lawyer after the divorce is final?Case closed. There is a division of asset piece on my company stock. “HUSBAND'S Stock: All stock granted or possessed prior to November 30, 2020 shall be split 50% HUSBAND and 50% to WIFE. For HUSBAND’S May 2021 stock grant for the 2020/2021 year, WIFE shall be entitled to receive 23% of any community share of stock based on the date of service. The amount shall be allocated to WIFE at each vested period (2022,2023 &.2024).” Now the problem is I quit that job. I gave her all the stock that veste… | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 04:25 PM

I asked her last time If she was allowed to contact me directly and she said she had a full caseload and had to remove some closed cases. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 07:53 AM |

Finding a new lawyer after the divorce is final? So its almost best to give her some half assed nonsense which is plausible as stupid but not non complaint. Will waste money for them to review and decide if they want to do more paperwork or motions with the court | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 07:25 AM
Finding a new lawyer after the divorce is final?Unofficial letter from her lawyer to me directly. She basically wants to see all the documentation. She is citing I left my job and her client wants details regarding her portion and the decree section on this is cited. Might be able to ignore intrigues me. Possibly respond back politely. I have upheld the decree and allocated funds after all vesting periods. Evidence available at the courts request. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 06:59 AM
Finding a new lawyer after the divorce is final?I changed jobs. So at the moment she is jostling me for restricted stock units that got cancelled when I left. I didnt own them, so they were worthless but she still wants a taste. The decree states that for 2020 grants she gets 50% and 2021 she gets 23%. At the time of vesting, money shall be allocated to wife. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/22 05:49 AM

In 2020/2021 I was granted company stock (RSU’s). Divorce decree says she was entitled to 50% of 2020 and 23% of 2021….I left the company and the unvested shares were cancelled. What happens now?I thought my attorney would help me with blindspots like this which didnt seem obvious at the time. 🫠 | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/08/22 11:36 PM

What happens now?I had drafted a negotiation and when we had an agreement in principle, I sent it to my lawyer to red line it and review that I was protecting my assets before we signed off on the final version. Sigh. I emailed my lawyer first when my ex started asked about the shared, and have been engaging internet strangers while I eagerly await her reply. Luckily its only like 7k and I can cover if i need to. Phew | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/08/22 07:40 PM |

What to do after divorce?I average $20 an hour, so I could do $600 in a weekend. I did Lyft and realized most people are poor and you are bringing them to work and they don’t have money to tip. Ordering food is a luxury and almost everyone tips. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/12/21 05:04 PM
What to do after divorce?I have every other Wed-Sun free and no kids. In that stretch I worked 4-9ish unless it was a hot night. Then Sat and Sun I would do 9-12 and then sometimes 4-9. In that time I could get normally $500-600. They don’t report your taxes unless you make more than 20k. Also it’s better to drive the best part of town. Apartment complexes suck. And I find more people top on food than rides. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/12/21 03:54 AM
What to do after divorce?I went through a divorce last year. I found Audible and started driving Uber eats. I have a good corporate job but I was able to finish 60 books and make like 400 a week extra to start investing with. It also helped me stop watching tv and snacking. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/12/21 04:17 AM

How successfull are you on Dating apps?Read “Game” by Roosh V and “Day Bang” br Roosh V......basically every woman wants to be swept off their feet like a romantic comedy. Most men are scared shitless to approach and you end up a pussy in line in the dating apps. You don’t have to be the best, but you gotta put your self out there. Covid has hung over me too. Bide your time, prepare. Be ready. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/21 03:22 AM
