The G-class is overrated in my opinion. The 463 chassis hasn't seen much update in its 28-year production run and is full of problems. For example, the completely-vertical sides mean that (1) cross-wind is a HUGE issue for handling at freeway speeds and (2) reflections become a problem where you see "phantom" cars in other lanes.

I have a rocky past with BMW because as much as I love the 3 series, they still haven't engineered out some of the flaws that have existed since the E21 (looking at you, underpowered cooling system and plastic-impeller water pump). Yeah, BSA may have been better nearly a century ago when it was still a new thing, but when I was a boy I was the only one who actually wanted to do scout stuff. All the other kids just wanted to play backyard football. Every. Single. Week. And since football is basically a religion here in the Deep South, their dads were happy to oblige while their moms fucked off to do whatever useless totally-not-scout-related stuff pack moms do while the dads are supposed to take care of all the actual work.
