This is definitely universal, mainly in western culture. Might have something to do with indoctrination within schools and those that are easily influenced. “Do well in school, go to university, get a good job, get married, have kids, and you’ll be happy.” It’s all too familiar.

You lack a mission. There’s a reason why the importance of having one is always regurgitated in this sub. It’s because it makes everything else seem trivial in comparison. Find a goal that you want to achieve. Make an actionable plan. Pursue it relentlessly. It doesn’t matter what it is, just as long it gives you purpose and joy. Sometimes doing shit you don’t want to do is necessary, like working a 9-5, but if it’s congruent with your mission, you won’t mind because it’ll just be a means to an …

If you have to ask someone else if your goals are realistic, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Your goals are your goals and no one else’s. If you have an actionable plan and an inherent belief in yourself, you’ll be fine. Stop looking for validation.

There’s no such thing as completely passive income. Everything requires at least some involvement. That being said, programming is a solid option, albeit somewhat saturated. Your best bet would be to build something in a niche market that requires little maintenance. Think tools for extremely specific purposes. Affiliate marketing through blogging is another option. You’d just have to find a solid niche with little competition to be successful. Investing is another good avenue, but you’d need to…

No amount of reading is going to make you smooth. Go out and apply what you read. See what actually works, what doesn’t, and go from there. Transformations don’t happen overnight.

If I decide I want to go out and drink, it's usually to blow off steam and have a good time. Bringing a buddy amplifies that while also providing a safety net. If you get into trouble, it's always good to have backup. If I decide I want to go out and not drink, it's always to improve my game, try new methods, and meet new people.

If you're drinking, go with a buddy. If not, go solo.

There is literally no point unless you're using it to maintain relationships with friends/family that live abroad.

I did a 48 hour variation as an experiment a few months ago. Worked well for me. Experiment for yourself. It's all about finding what works best for you.

Every habit that you employ is tied to the reward system portion of your brain. That includes your diet, your media consumption, the people you interact with; literally every aspect of your life. On a dopamine fast, you're cutting all cues that transmit the signals to your reward system. It's a factory reset of your day-to-day life. Like I said, it's extreme.

It's not given with the intention of getting girls to approach you. It's given to boost your masculinity.

Might be extreme, but try going on a week long dopamine fast.

It becomes conscious to those that are self-aware. I'd argue that the majority of AFCs aren't.

Could be a variety of things, but the most common reason is unconscious shame. No one ever feels good after spilling their seed to pixels on a screen.

This is the truth. In my experience, the only way that an impression can be changed is if your transformation is so drastic that the women in question don't recognize you at first glance.

This leads me to believe you don't understand what monk mode actually is. Refer to u/FereallyRed 's comment.

It's procrastination if the person has never gamed before. Monk mode can be useful if done at the right time.

Why are you getting your panties in a bunch over a 12 year old? Kids do dumb shit all the time.

True MGTOW is like the kid that was never really into sports and games. He liked to spend time doing things by himself. A voluntary outcast, if you will. Nothing wrong with it, but these types are far and few. The recent emergence of modern MGTOW is akin to the kid that enjoyed playing sports and games, but got fed up when they realized that they sucked and everyone else was better than them. They got pissed when they found out the true nature of the game and reluctantly outcast themselves becau…

No book will solve this, but Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and Letters from a Stoic by Seneca should help. Learn to detach your feelings from outcomes. Only deliberate action towards achieving goals and living your mission will truly get you out, although there are tools that'll help. I personally use meditation, lifting, proper nutrition, a consistent sleep schedule, and journaling, but to each their own.

You might think that it's because you're comparing yourself to others, but it's not. It's self pity. Stop that shit because there is no worse state of mind. It will eat you alive and leave you a whiny, self-absorbed child. What stands out to me from your post is that you keep rethinking your path. You need to figure it out because this is the main contributor. How can you actually do anything when you don't know what it is that you wanna do? I'm not saying find your passion because that's bullsh…

This has nothing to do with dying alone.

Maybe so, I'm only 23. But the way I see it is that at least more than 50% "die alone" based on pure reasoning. Even so, do you really need an SO to stave off that fear? Do you not have family and friends that love you enough?
/r/TheRedPill03/02/19 07:19 PM

If you're afraid of dying alone then you have 0 self respect and are more than likely discontent with yourself. This is why TRP promotes self mastery and inner game.

Was super blue pilled, thought I could win her back in the future (lmao), forgot about her once I started lifting and focusing on my own shit, then woke up to this in my inbox today. Feelings came up resulting in this post. Y'all set me straight though, so thanks.

Solid points. I don't know if it's actually me not having fully moved on, or if it's more just me being childish and wanting her to know that she isn't worth my time anymore, her acknowledging that fact, and me picking up the "win". But then again I can see how that could be confused with not having moved on, on my part. I've grown, but there's clearly room for improvement. Thanks for the tips.

Exactly. There's two different forms of happiness. Short term pleasure and long term fulfillment. Most people conflate the two, but they're radically different concepts as they lead to different outcomes.

To build on what astrogatorjones said, you're too outcome dependent. If she rejects you, what does it matter? What do you lose? Absolutely nothing. Lose the ego bro
