My biggest jump in friend zoning girls began when I started nursing school. 24 women, 3 guys. I didn't go into nursing "for the pussy" so too speak, primarily because you don't shit where you eat. Four years of nursing classes and clinicals require you to befriend your classmates, regardless of gender. Now that we have all graduated and passed boards, they are still my friends; but, more simply, they are my colleagues.

I think the south is an area of extremes. I live here and it's the best way that I can describe it. We have some absolutely beautiful women, some of the best, you just have to look. On the other side of the scale, we have some of the trashiest people (men/women/families) I have ever seen or heard of. Go to any subreddit and all you see is "major in STEM, it's the only degree worth majoring in". Guess what all these kids are going to major in? I agree with what you say, but I want to add that I think the point you are trying to make also depends somewhat on location. I have seen your point firsthand, hence why I agree. I live in the south, where the hard-working, greasy hands laborer who may or may not have even graduated highschool (construction, farmer, factory workers) is seen in a much more alpha light than the banker who wears a suit and tie to work everyday.

Domestic abuse syndrome. Every cop/nurse and doctor knows this behaviour all too well. Indeed. I'm an RN and most instances of domestic abuse are followed by a "honeymoon phase" which means the roid-raged buck who beat his woman is getting some hot makeup sex tonight. I just graduated RN school. My cohort started with 25 people (3 guys) and we graduated with 9 (2 guys). If you do decide to try nursing, realize that nursing school is hard. It's not so much the difficulty of the concepts you are expected to learn, just the sheer amount of material that is being forced down your throat.
