does it not? There will always be ignorance, even among those who claim to fight for equality. Its up to you to choose how you see it, yes there are some assholes that call themselves feminists but that doesnt mean feminists should be branded as assholes. This might not seem like a big deal but imo its very important to be able to be proud of being a feminist ( fighting for equal rights) and it doesnt feel right the way how what was once a very powerful word is nowadays being dragged through mud…

what I meant is, if someone were to ask me "What do you think of the conditions for those who are in <insert grave danger of any kind, disease, war or otherwise here> and ofc I would say that its horrible and shouldnt be a thing, however, its not like I debate random horrible scenarios (that happens far away from where I live, not affecting anyone I know and care about) in my mind on a daily basis or actively work for the people in grave danger. I think war is bad and people dying for no reason is bad but I dont really give a shit (as in im not going to spend time and money to stop wars that dont affect me at all) as in im not actively thinking about it, I would however be thinking about it if I was suddenly forced to participate in said wars. Its easy to not actually care if your life isnt personally affected by it.
