Website is nearly useless, and I have basically dropped FDS which is a shame. There seem to be no new posts, and there used to be daily posts and discussions here.

Mindset wise, I'm already there. I'm single and I enjoy it, truly. I own my own home, have a fulfilling job, and I am in grad school to advance my career. I do not tolerate low value men, and have too much self respect to put up with no effort. I absolutely understand and vibe with FDS. That being said, this sub is primarily about dating strategy, it's in the name. I don't think it's wrong to want to hear from people who've had successes.

I agree! I am single and happy with my life and my goals and accomplishments. I genuinely enjoy my own company. I'm not lonely so the bar is set high for spending time with a man - he is not competing with other men for my time, he's competing with me! I still want to find love and start a family though.

Generally if they start a family they are forced to quit their careers, childcare is non existent in Japan.
