Feminists are biased against men with their gynocentric worldview even if they don’t straight up hate men. A lot of self-identified feminists I have came against are openly misandrist.

How are experiences other than romantic experiences a problem or even relevant when it comes to relationships?

This attitude to sexually/ romantic inexperienced men is the main contributing factor in radicalizing them into the manosphere. It keeps them permanently locked in their inexperience as women are increasingly culturally conditioned to reject them for their inexperience. This cultural contempt and apathy for inexperienced men is a serious problem with modern society.

Sorry about him mistreating you, but he was the problem, not his age or the age gap. There are abusive relationships between people of about the age that happen all the time. Attributing the toxic relationship to the age gap rather than the toxic individual is just confirmation bias. He should be condemned for the way he treated you, but not age gap relationships in general.

People of all ages can be friends. When it comes, to platonic friendships, their is no limit on age gaps. There is nothing wrong with a 30 year old man or even an 80 year old man being friends with an 18 year old guy.

Are you claiming 18 and 23 to be inherently predatory or wrong? Life stages and age gaps are separate things. Not everyone is at the same life stage at the same age. I’m nearly 23, but a senior in college. I am in a much closer life stage to most 18 year olds than most 38 year olds. I would find it arrogant for someone my age or a little older to claim to be in a closer league with nearly middle aged people.

This whole post is very painful for most 23 year olds and people around that age because it makes them feel old, while they still relate more to 18 year olds than 38 year olds. As a 22, almost 23 year old, I affirm that this is not true at all, I am mentally much closer to 18 than to 38. Such attitudes that a person is suddenly a more similar age to 30 than 18 when they turn 20 or whatever is dangerous and is a cause of a lot of psychological issues among young people. 23 and 38 is objectively a…

This post itself is proof that misandry exist. A woman’s bad experience with men doesn’t excuse hatred of them anymore than a man’s bad experience with women excuses his misogyny or bad experiences with black people excuses racism. By the logic of this post, any kind of bigotry or prejudice can be excused by negative personal experiences with that group. What do you think about the alt-right using disproportionate crime statistics of black people to justify racism against them? You are doing the…
