Dating isn’t about “better” or “worse”. People can just not be compatible. If you are legitimately friends with a girl, but you start to develop feelings for her, and she turns you down, that doesn’t mean you can’t still legitimately be friends. I would, however, perhaps spend less time with her and seek out other people to date. Like that seems obvious to me?

Women don’t actually want what they say they want. What they WANT is for those “traditional fuckboys” to change for them and become tame / emasculated. It’s like the biggest female fantasy (like the “girl next door” fantasy for guys)

No - women remain single because women's expectations are very very high (even if seeking a man who's value far exceeds their own) and a minority of men actually live up to those expectations. This isn't a criticism. Everyone can always improve themselves and be better. But I feel as if women's expectations are usually above their equivalent value, and they are less likely to improve themselves to meet that value, or understand that value and date in that range.

You’re talking about your own personal experience. One person, sample size of 1. Im talking about a much larger group, and on average, height, especially being over 6 ft, is so immensely important to women
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 04:55 PM

Who knows. It’s just a mental hurdle for them that they prefer. Just like some guys prefer big boobs. Does a D cup really provide any benefit over a B cup? Not really
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 04:51 PM

I mean 6 feet or over.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 04:19 PM

Yea you are one example, speaking from personal experience with a sample size of 1. I’m talking about a larger sample, in which your preference would be in the minority
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 04:19 PM

Yea I’m saying that doesn’t matter. If you’re “ugly” but 6 feet or over, most girls will not care that you are “ugly”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 02:14 PM

The common physical factor is height. Pretty much no other physical factor matters, or matters consistently, as much as that.

This is exactly right. This doesn’t apply to all women, but I would say this applies to many.

Yea I’ve never had a cavity and I had braces as a kid - so teeth are white and straight. I think one of the other commenters hit a big point - maybe I’m being too passive? I might need to demonstrate interest more? I worry that I’m too cautious with the ones I like, and that maybe leads to no progress

Yea I think there’s like 5 things I’m looking for - it’s hard to get all 5, but looking to get close to as many as possible. Reliable - Bezos said he wanted his wife to be able to get him out of a third world prison, and although that’s an extreme example, that’s what I’m talking about. Basically being able to handle life’s inconveniences without having a breakdown Social Independence - Can handle herself in social settings, weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, etc. Commitment to fitness - N…

Matt Damon Maybe it’s height? I know the 6 foot threshold is a huge deal breaker for a lot of girls

Haha I guess I should clarify - I go out with girls I think I might like, but then realize it won’t be a good fit for whatever reason (which makes me not like them). So those fail from my end on the getting to know you stage. Dating intention is to find a gf that I guess could head to marriage, but I’m not on any timetable (I don’t want to rush into something I don’t feel as close to 100% as possible).

I would say that the dates are nice - nice dinner, drinks, maybe go to cool spots in the city I know after that. I put in a lot of efforts on the dates. And I do try to be nice! I think things fall off after a few dates on average. I try to keep scheduling stuff, and then they can’t make it so it just ends. Maybe you’re right about the forthcoming-ness. I’m worried if I put it all out there too soon, the girl would be freaked out? Also, I think I’m maybe too cautious with the ones I really like …

It’s not Harvard though. It’s big ten. I went to an elite school that’s not the problem

Yep - it’s a tough market. A lot of my friends feel the same way, wealth and status don’t help you much here.

I’m basing my information off of what I’m seeing. If I fail to hook up with a girl in Chicago, and she hooks up with someone else, I’m seeing that the difference is because she was more comfortable with his collegiate background vs. mine. My game is largely unchanged versus living in New York and Miami. I was having way more success in those places, so trying to understand the reasons why that would be the case.

Trying to do this too. Do you have suggestions on good targets?

Yea I think you’re right here. NY and Miami are not the best for comparison.

This is good advice. Ironically I’ve had to go to SoulCycle and yoga, where I’ve started to make some progress. School and work come up in conversation, that’s the problem. I don’t like bringing them up either. I will re examine masculine vibe - the point of my post was to identify that I was having much more success in New York and Miami, while my strategy is largely unchanged.

You’re a faggot, first off. Second off, did you read the post? I literally said that it was much easier to pull hotter women in the two other cities that I lived in (which I did, often). Third off, you’re probably broke lmao so you couldn’t live in any of these places anyway. Finally, you know where I live. Feel free to stop by and get your ass beat any day. I work until about 7pm every night and am largely free on the weekends, so pick and time or place that works for your schedule.

If you have a cool Instagram account that shows travel, partying, boats, etc, it can be a nice tool to get 8s - 10s. The problem is, it really is a lot of work to craft “perfect posts”, and is really only effective if you are good looking anyway.

I can usually tell within like 5 minutes of approaching a girl if it’s going anywhere or not. Completely agree with the post - once you approach, it should be relatively easy to tell if she’s into you, only spend time on the ones that are.

The CFO (female) of my workplace aggressively grabbed my ass at a company bowling event. Then another female coworker did it the next day. Neither are hot. I work at a hedge fund. I just went about my day afterwards and continued to make a ton of money for the firm (and myself)

Just broke up with my GF of like 2 years. I felt the beta slowly seeping in, I was getting extremely passive around her (didn't want to cause a fight), was skipping workouts (to spend time with her of course) and was being financially drained from gifts, trips, etc. Eventually got sick of it and her constant complaining despite basically having it all so I told her its over.

I recently broke up with my LTR of a few years. Fighting had gotten pretty bad and consistent, but she recently moved apartments and jobs so I thought it was just stress. Last week two nights in a row she refuses to have sex, and not in a normal fashion. We started hooking up both times and she stopped, cold turkey, in the middle. She claimed she was tired and feeling sick, but I knew she wasn't, I've seen her before when she is truly tired or truly sick, and this wasn't it. Something was differ…

I feel like I get shit tested more by men now than women. I think it's jealousy over my success (I've capitalized on some good fortunes over the past year to be in a really good spot right now)

In order to impregnate a thousand women in 9 months you're looking at like 5 nuts a day. Aggressive LOL but can you imagine

Crazy that it works right?? Didn't think a simple one liner and hat tip would make your Mom give up her box so easily!!

My height go to line is "well with my razor sharp mind, striking good looks, and charming disposition, being any taller would just be unfair." (I don't really have striking good looks btw, and I'm 5'8") It usually works lol some women thinks it's too cocky but those women are usually 6-7s who can't handle the confidence in the first place.

I really think this happens a lot more than people realize. I honestly think there's are thousands of people who think their dad is someone when it's really someone else. Now that I'm getting older I see women do this kind of shit all of the time

Don't shoot the messenger, but I heard that he doesn't actually get laid that much, that it's all an act. Girls do use him for the things he said, but I thought the secret was that all of the fronting didn't actually lead to him getting laid as much as you would think.

Yea I went through a bad phase a couple years ago where I did something similar. It was probably a good thing though because it really helped me get my head out of my ass and red pill

I had a buddy complain that his really hot serious girlfriend couldn't have an adult conversation with him. Like she couldn't talk about things going on in the world and didn't really have any strong opinions about anything. He was thinking about breaking up with her. I told him that literally every girl is like this and if he wants to have deep intellectual conversations about stuff to just call me or one of our other friends lol.

I have a buddy who is pretty short. Like 5'4" maybe shorter. He pulls better than most guys who are in the mid 5s, like 5'8" 5'10". How does he do this? He owns his shortness. He doesn't lack for confidence at all and if anyone ever makes a joke about it (which rarely happens) he always says "Bruhh I just want a woman who is 6'2" or taller; straight up climb her". He also works out diligently is in great shape and is always doing cool stuff. I feel like the same thing can be said for someone who…
