2	Does the school practice of forcing boys to write sentences as a form of punishment turn them off to writing? Want to know what turned me off from writing? The fact that English teachers think "reading" and "reading fiction" are synonymous. Similarly, there are much more interesting things to write essays about than the 12edgy metaphors Toni Morrison threw into one of her countless "ZOMG AND THEN THE DEAD BABY WASN'T DEAD!!!" books.
