I wish I knew. I was completely blindsided by it, and approached her to apologize about it, but that it's my time to practice, and I needed to. And her response was, "no, the problem is I'm a woman, and you refuse to listen to me because you're a chauvinist and think you don't have to listen to me because you're a man!" I just stared at her blankly for about three seconds, then walked away without saying anything. The kicker is I told the department chair what happened to give him a heads up. He…

When I was in college, an art history professor called me chauvinist because she started telling me to stop practicing every day. I agreed to give it a rest for two days but I needed to practice since I was a music major. The next time she sent a student to ask me to stop I said nope, and she hunted me down to call me a chauvinist because I wouldn't listen to a woman. I had to practice. In a music building. In an official practice room. It's not my fault the school didn't properly soundproof the…

Matched with a girl on Tinder years ago, was about a 45 minute drive. I suggested we meet halfway, and her words were something like "I think you should come the whole way. I believe in chivalry." I wish I had come up with something like this.

Apparently there's no integrity to arrest someone who assaults an officer.
/r/PussyPassDenied20/08/19 12:52 PM

Depends on the state. In some states, if you feel like you're being illegally detained, you may be within your rights to defend yourself. But you better a.) be sure you can defend yourself and b.) be absolutely right on the matter. Most lawyers would say to just go ahead and comply, and deal with the resulting lawsuit. Just found this: “Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306. Though, IANAL.

I’m guessing most of the haters on here aren’t married, don’t have kids, and don’t even know what I’m talking about. "If you don't agree with me, you must be an unpleasant person." Only an unpleasant, spoiled, selfish person uses this kind of an argument.

On top of that, culling the number of drivers to have only the safe drivers allowed would probably remove the need to have our highways perpetually under construction.

I love this. All of your assumptions when someone called someone racist, and you say they're not the right color, and then you start explaining which color is better for racism. It's like the pot calling the kettle whichever color fits your narrative.

I love that pathetic attempt at the end of their video to blur out her face. She wasn't trying to juke the guy chasing her, she was juking the face blur, and succeeding! Edit: end of the video in the article, people, not the end of the gif. There's more in the video where the blur is just wildly flailing about trying to get the face. But just go ahead and assume the video I'm responding to a news article link to is the same video in the gif.

In bars in my hometown, women "commandeer" the men's room and say that men can't use it until the women's line disappears. You get called names by a bunch of drunk women on your way out, but guys that witness it shake your hand. No bought drinks to date, though.

A woman who supports this movement told me that women "understand the severity of such an accusation, so would never lie." Then went on to say that every female friend she knows has been sexually harassed in one way or another, therefore 100% of all women are sexually harassed. I just couldn't believe the stupidity.

Same here. Never went as far as law enforcement or court, but have had a couple of occasions where someone used these accusations to get ahead. Even false sexual harassment accusations are a pain in the ass. You know those statistics that say so many rape cases go unreported? I like the fact that the man's name wasn't mentioned. If only all rape allegations would be handled like this. It's "a woman". I just don't get how this is so hard to grasp. It's not a common misspelling to write "a men" or "look at all those man," but woman vs. women is such a widespread issue. Yes, I've seen people mix up man vs. men, but not as often as women.

A mental exercise for these people would be if they could place a man in the woman's situation, and if it doesn't seem out of place because at no point did he say "I'm a woman," then it's not PPD. But they don't do that.
/r/PussyPassDenied05/06/15 05:29 PM

And "logic" like this is why most of the posts are not really PPD. EDIT: Downvotes don't mean I'm wrong. If you can cite anything other than "it's implied," you might have something. This is more of a racism denied.

That's NOT illegal. They didn't directly threaten her. They made poor predictions about what the future has for anyone who isn't black or Latino. Still protected under the bill of rights. Making hate speech illegal is dangerous, only because of what idiots like Mr. Fapple did by jumping to a conclusion that they physically threatened her. They didn't. Did they? Did they say "I'm going to rape you!"? I saw them making poor predictions about the future of white crackers, that's all. And Yet i would refuse, up to the point of me getting arrested(falsely), to be searched. As would I. There's a reason that fourth amendment exists. I think you're confused with the timeline. The suspect broke the law, went to trial, was found guilty, and this video is the sentencing after the fact. Judgment was given in the trial. The sentencing was given after the trial. This isn't uncommon, from what I understand. From what I gathered from the video, there already was a trial. Judgement has already been made. She was to come back for the sentence hearing. This judge's job wasn't to hear the details of the case; that has already happened. …

This is a clear case where the prosecutor should be fired. The prosecutor is an ass dick. The judge and prosecutor should also get life in prison for being just as stupid as the guilty women and wasting our tax dollars. The sentencing isn't the prosecutor's nor the judge's "fault." That's the sentence required by law for the charge that she was found guilty for. If you have an issue with the sentence, head out to Nevada and work on changing the law. No. Most respectable people who have training in fighting like boxers, wrestler, mma fighters would likely not resort to an ass whooping right away if they clearly outclass an aggressor . They would neutralize the threat without hurting them. Not exactly true. In my training, you don't "fight," you're defending your life if you're having to resort to force. I wish that stupid annotation wasn't there. And the dude has it set up to pop up again halfway through if you close it.

You're confusing "freedom of speech" with "let me say anything I want, when I want." Here's something another judge mentioned after getting death threats for holding a man in contempt for calling him a cock: People do not have an unlimited right to Freedom Of Speech in a courtroom (though they probably do on the sidewalk in front of the courthouse). Can one imagine someone entering a courtroom during a trial, standing on a desk and shouting about how they dislike the president? Could a defendant…

Okay, fine. Laugh at a judge the next time you get in trouble. Make fun of him. Try to incite the other offenders to turn the courtroom into a circus of chaos, then try to get society to back you up. If he allowed her disrespect, then he'd have to allow everyone there the opportunity to make fun of him. When should it stop at that point?

It wasn't just the word, but that she obviously wasn't taking any of this seriously. The "audios" was just enough to push the judge over the edge. Next time, maybe she won't think breaking the law is a joke.

Even so, BK is going to want to distance themselves from her. Not because of her position in the matter (and I have no clue if they even have a stance on the issue), but on her public behavior while wearing their name.

And she'll probably be fired.

What's even better is the fact that he's obviously not afraid to hit her, yet she still keeps coming. Stupidity at its finest. This dude showed some great restraint.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
