This always elicits an even more negative response from me as I immediately go into a "your Jedi mind tricks will not work on me" response. :)

So the first one was at 3:15am when most humans are asleep. The second was a reasonable afternoon time when one might actually notice the text alert. Granted, you used an NLP sales tactic in the second but I'm willing to bet the timing was what mattered most there.

Another thing it took me awhile to learn. Real parties are not like in the movies where the outsider or different person is shunned. Most people are nice. Hollywood lies to you.

Think you got more down votes than you deserve as it's a valid point. I do however think alcohol is a great way to learn to socialize as long as you don't have dependency issues. I will say this. I had a friend who was a high functioning alcoholic drug addict who was well liked and always the guy who knew EVERYONE. Good guy for shy people to hang with because he would get to know people at a party then introduce them to you. --Though that could be considered enabling on the part of both. The shy…

I would happily do shots with anyone that bought them/poured them for me and I would say thank you by buying the next round. Btw, learning to socialize like this with OR without alcohol as well will serve you well both socially and professionally.

I think I may have accidentally posted that out of context. Was in reply to generalization that fat girls are more bitchy. I don't find that to be true.

That hasn't been my experience. If we're generalizing, I would say the opposite is true but that's based only on my own anecdotal evidence.

Ladies: it works the other direction as well. A woman with confidence is 100x more attractive to me than a woman who is simply hot.

True but that really wasn't my point. My point was that it's useful for approaching all people, not just women-- so non-sexual social connections, professional connections, etc...

Confidence is the most attractive thing. Being direct shows that, you did great. Girl 3 you probably lost because you got too confident if it really was a "you me are going out next week" thing. There you just sound like an arrogant douchecopter. I would not want to date any girl that would fall for that alpha in command bs. But live and learn ... The others you were respectfully confident which is good. Now you just need to figure out how to juggle all these women. :). Enjoy your 20s!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
