You don't seem to have any trouble addressing the shit tests, it's just that there's no game with no audible wit. The advice below is pretty good, but let me add this to it: drink something stronger, earlier, at least a couple minutes before you hit that dancefloor, and then nothing else except water the rest of the night. No real need for comedy, but it is a good opportunity to pick up the skill so long as you have a stable social life and plenty of heads to bounce ideas off of (having an audience is absolutely critical for practicing comedy and other speech-related routines). Who knows, it could come in handy sometime down the road when you're not necessarily in a situation with a girl. Any improvement is good improvement.
