Not everyone is put off by that, and I don't know how intoxicated you were, but in my experience boozing while the target is sober isn't very flattering. But really you don't need to go to the bars to practice Evening game (for me booze ruins my game since I'm such a light weight). Coffee shops are pretty good in my experience (for anytime of day). If you're set on bad scene bars with live music are always a good choice. 8	Started breaking out of my shell slowly, kind of creeping people out. Not sure what to do in this situation. Any advice? Seriously, take longer walks or vary your route more. The problem is that people notice you're making circles (probably times 3 or higher is when it seems off) and most likely get suspicious (i.e. is he a burglar?). Especially if your circling is in a residential neighborhood. I doubt your attempts to say hello and make eye contact are creeping people out.
