Wrong. If you take away gun suicides (conveniently included in gun crime stats to bolster numbers), and inner city gang violence, America's gun violence rate plummets. Don't believe everything you hear. Also, gun crime numbers have been dropping for 20 years while gun ownership has gone up. The rate of gun crimes is way down.

I disagree about not-kidproofing guns. Young kids are irrational beings. You can (and should) teach your children to respect firearms, but that is a process that takes time. You don't get to fuck that one up. All of my guns are in the gunsafe, except a handgun in the following: http://www.gunvault.com/minivault-gv1000s.html Biometric safes are very expensive, and were (at least when I was in the market for one) somewhat slow. I can get into this safe, in the dark, in two seconds. The gun is read…

Ok. And neither is mine....or thousands of guys with significant time in uniform who've seen the exact, unequivocal opposite of what you purport to have seen.

You mean like your anecdotal evidence? Weird. Here's some more anecdotal evidence for the pile: I spent more than a decade in as an officer and saw the application of UCMJ applied. The reality is male soldiers are orders of magnitude more vulnerable to UCMJ and divorce rape than their female counterparts, all other things being equal. I had a JAG, off the record of course, admit to me that the pressure applied from way high up the chain skewed MANY cases against male Soldiers. He said there were…

Sex bots would be disastrous, but for other reasons.... If you could equally implement them across society in one fell swoop, then the impacts to the sexual market, reproduction rates, etc. would be equal. But that's not how it would/will work. They will be expensive at first, and only folks with the time and money to have them will. They will be the first to see a significant decline in their reproductive rates. Meanwhile, the less productive members of society will continue to breed like rabbi…

Nonsense. Action and the refusal to allow a decent upstanding citizen and fellow man (regardless of his naive and stupid political beliefs) to be butchered is taking my children into consideration. It's me voting with my feet to stop our world from shifting one more step in a direction where cowards stand idly by with their face in their iphone while an innocent victim gets slaughtered by some fucking savage. I don't want my children to grow up in a world where, 15 years from now, this happens e…

Your 'facts' are anything but. Quit regurgitating shit you think is right that aren't nested in truth or reality. The serial killer thing is a myth as is the mass murderer thing. School shooters? Perhaps if you reduce it to a very, very specific type of crime. In which case your data set has a small handful of points. Anyone with even a very basic understanding of statistics and a lack of bias sees the truth when it comes to violence. Swallow that red pill as well....you'll be a lot safer.

There isn't one. Violence of action with the intent to inflict as much damage to the attacker as quickly as possible is the only way to minimize the risk. Plus, if the attacker is focused on the attack, you have the element of surprise and the ability to land a few devastating blows before he even has the opportunity to redirect his attention. But one has to enter into this scenario with the understanding that in all likelihood, you are going to receive some superficial wounds at the very least.…

I won't defend the IQ comment. I have no proof one way or another and frankly don't care to find it. However, regardless of their innate intelligence, the Muslims will bring a plague to civilization with their thousand year old way of thinking and general barbarism that will make you beg for some citizens with merely a low IQ. Sauce: every single country with a significant Muslim population.

Exactly. And it's a "thing", as in a temporary assignment. Not a profession and way of life, to which they are entirely NOT compatible.

Anyone have a good link with a solid synopsis of GG? It seems like the only way to get the whole picture is lots and lots and lots of reading about it.

I'd love to see the exact same add with pictures of the 15-20lb overweight SJWs who posed in front of their ads as the 'models' instead

Or avoid the clear baiting with 'beached' and have the same ad- 'Are you beach body ready?' with a soft body standing there looking unhealthy and out of shape. With all of this controversy, it'd drive their point home

Oh please. Boiling down military service to getting paid to kill people? Take your bias somewhere else, pussy.

I think your last sentence is key. The lower enlisted (very young) guys really unbalance this boat. Especially over the past 13 years. Since the war started, life has been high highs and low lows, especially for that group. Deployments suck at best, even if guys aren't getting blown up and killed around you, and at worst put you in a bag. Young troops get some pussy thrown their way before they deploy, are very quick to pop the question, and the rest plays out the way you would expect immature m…

Knew of a guy in the Army...at 19 years of service his wife said she was done, knowing he was eligible for retirement soon and she'd be getting half (or more). So he dropped his paperwork. Not to retire, but to resign. His command, knowing his circumstances, offered to work a deal where he'd still get retirement due to special circumstances. He said 'fuck that. I'm healthy and still relatively young. I can work and earn my money. That greedy bitch isn't getting a dime from my retirement, even if…
