To be honest, this is the wrong subreddit to vent in. A lot of the guys in here aren't taking you seriously because they struggle so much just to approach a woman, get her phone number, or get laid; when you say how much of an easy time you have, they take it as bragging. I can't relate to your situation, but my opinion is that you should just ignore the girls that you think are into you for the novelty fuck -- however many that might be -- and try to find girls who take you seriously as a human…

That's certainly true; this article focuses on the dangers men face when engaging in what they believe to be consensual sex. Clearly, women face certain sex-related risks as well, but they seem to be of a different variety. While women probably have to be more worried about getting raped than men do and have to deal with unfair social stigmas, men put themselves at legal risk nearly every time they have sex (or so, it seems). That's not to say that either gender has it "better" or "worse" when i…

This is exactly what I was thinking when I was reading that article. What was done should not be considered wrong, and it should not be illegal. It's complete bullshit how Tony is being perceived. His life should not have to be this difficult.

Alright, this makes sense.. Smalltalk isn't something I generally do, so I guess I'll just have to start. Thanks

See this is where things seem a little confusing to me. It seems normal to approach someone in a bar setting. If I'm at a bookstore, it seems unusual to talk to a stranger about... whatever you talk about. Any tips on things to say when approaching? Do I dive right in with a "Hi, how's it going?"

I think I like this one the most. It's subtle and really funny, or if the girl takes it seriously, it might serve the function of a neg. (I've heard Mystery, I think, or else some other PUA, say that saying you are gay is an IOD and serve the same function as a neg).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
