This isn't r/jobs, but this is also true at work. If the boss likes you, you can get away with anything, but if they don't, watch out...

So you are saying a full autistic down syndrom guy can get laid often just if hes handsome and tall? Of course, this would be like finding a unicorn, not that it detracts from your overall point

Exactly, telling men to stop being thirsty is like telling a zebra to stop having stripes
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 02:08 PM

A lot of the time, when a woman has told me she doesn't do hookups or casual, she'll end up doing that with me anyway. Yes, any time a woman makes a point of preemptively saying this, it is a guaranteed hookup. Because when I point this out No one likes people who point things out

I have found that if you remember that reddit is a magnet for the autistic, the easier it is to understand the motive of the posters. The only reason I don't ask more people if they are autistic is that it would get me banned.

Yeah, there are too many people here who post stories that are a little too convenient. We need to be able to call them out.

You understand that in heterosexual relationship one gender is generally the initiator and the other is the recipient, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 11:04 AM

It’s bizarre to me that when I tell a man I like Taylor Swift and believe in astrology they- easily 95% of the time- make fun of it or even blatantly insult it. The former is objectively popular and catchy, although she isn't my personal cup of tea. The latter marks you as completely unserious, and any man who says otherwise is merely trying to get into your pants.

For someone that isn't attractive to women or struggling to get a date or partner, he must be a bad person who doesn't treat women like a human. But for a handsome dude, he must treat women great because he gets girlfriends. Exactly so. This is part of the Just World Fallacy
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 08:54 AM

You mean if you're not attractive. If you're attractive you can just act naturally.

I will say that as a teacher I am flabbergasted that most teenagers have no interest in driving anymore. They find the whole concept scary. As someone who is slightly younger than OP, I will say that I literally counted down the days until I turned 17 so I could drive unencumbered. Furthermore, I never wanted to be home at night either.

For some reason empathy and sympathy have become synonyms, with the latter word falling out of popular usage

On paper women are all for dismantling "the patriarchy" That's the thing: they aren't. Attractive women are perfectly happy with the patriarchy and the status quo in general. That's why attractive women tend to lean right and unattractive women tend to lean left.

What I reccomend (for both girls and boys) is specific therapy for developing EQ skills. This is all well and good, and maybe you are implying this, but the top recommendation should be to not be fat. If you are fat, heaven help you

I'm a man, and I am telling you point blank that if you ask for a paternity test, it is 100 percent an accusation of cheating. I'm not saying you aren't justified in asking for one, but let's call a spade a spade.

I am a man and a teacher, and I will tell you directly that while women get credit for being good people, it is not for no reason. Boys, as a general rule, are assholes. On occasion I have gotten to teach high-level classes, and the boys there tend to be decent human beings, but I can't stand to be around the vast majority of boys in school. Give me a class full of girls any day of the week.

I'm not paying anyone's rent or their clothes. One of the benefits of dating a 21 y/o is that her dad can pick up those expenses. I am willing to pay for everything WHILE WE ARE TOGETHER but I am not going to fund her entire lifestyle.

As a man I don't think this is true. When I am in a happy, loving relationship, I don't feel the need to cheat, even if the difficulty in doing so would be trivial. When I am in an unhappy relationship, all bets are off.
