I never had a gf (M/20) and this comment is frightening me that I’m going to experience the same thing? any ideas to calm myself down?edit: too much at once so I'm redoing it. There is no way that you could ever love someone properly without loving yourself. All these things you've listed should be reasons that you use to motivate yourself to be a better person - for you and you alone. Both of these things are like a cloud that follow you around, and it bleeds out into everything you do. This isn't who you are; this is a manifestation of negativity that is hampering you and your ability to be who you really are. Why do you need someone to tell you that you are ok?
