As true as everything he said is, I love the last line of "I'm drunk". Anyone else? Haha

I disagree. Anything a person does and enjoys gives them joy and makes their life better simply by being fun for them. I can't look down on anyone for enjoying and doing something. If anything, I look down on the people that do something because they think it'll gain them acceptance from their peers.

I used to feel that way all the time. I haven't felt that way in a while though. Generally, it doesn't seem to matter how attractive a girl looks, or how high of an initial value I put on her when I first meet her, I tend to think I'm capable of getting any girl until they definitely reject me. Until then, I feel like every girl is fair game. To be honest, more often than not, and this is probably a giant ego thing for me, I think about if the girl is below my league or not.

To be fair, it wouldn't be the first time I or someone else upvoted or took advice from Im_a_rapist. He's just so likable.

I wouldn't say I dived in. This has been a long time thing of mine that I wouldn't attribute to just seduction. I'd say that it's been a gradual process over years of getting to know and embrace completely who I am as a person.

Just go for it. If the k-closes are a guarantee, the girl wants to kiss as badly as you do.

I agree with what's been said. She's either not into you, or not into the way you were proceeding. Either way, this just means you take a step back, re-evaluate what you've learned, and then apply it. If you really think you still have a chance with this girl, then give it one last shot, but my gut instinct is to at the very least, drop this girl for now and meet some other women and try applying your techniques there.

Compliments have to be earned. If she genuinely looks stunning, then yeah, sure, mention it. Don't plan to say it from the get go, though. Honestly, just be yourself. The biggest piece of advice that is said on this forum, I think, is to assume attraction. Assume she likes you. That basically means that you get to be yourself around her, and continue to escalate kino, rapport, etc. You continue to escalate until you get that "no" from her. That's when you back off for a bit. I'd suggest reading …

I love how you have a concluding paragraph and a tl;dr section. The girl seems into you from what I can gather. Don't be afraid to make your intentions a little more obvious. You have her number, so you're already making great progress.

God I laughed so hard at the "I'm pretty, you're pretty, what say we go back to my place and just stare at each other."

There's a difference in cockiness and arrogance. It's okay to be confident in yourself and who you are. It's not okay to be overconfident to the point where you're a buzzkill. It's a fine line sometimes, but it's healthy to be comfortable in your own skin, and to reflect that in your interactions with others.

Tofu, I really admire your outlook on life. I'll definitely be reading this and wish to subscribe to your future news letters. Thanks for everything you've given and for everything you will share in the future.

I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, but I think I'm an awesome person. I have tons of great qualities, friends and feel I have a lot to offer. What that translates to is a lot of self-confidence. I don't really seek validation from anyone anymore because of that confidence. If I really am as cool as I think I am, people are going to naturally like me. And if they don't, then it's no sweat off my back.

You'd be surprised, it's not as difficult as you think. Best advice is what's been said: take the plunge and let your body learn as it goes.

It's okay as a snarky, sarcastic comment every now and then... But don't make it a habit. I enjoy making outlandish insults at myself sometimes that are clearly fake, yet entertaining.

Social anxiety can be a real doozy to get over, dude. I was there before, myself. You are your own worst enemy. The terrible scenarios you run through your head; none of them would ever happen. People are inherently nicer than we generally make them out to be when you're amidst an anxious moment before talking to someone new. I'm glad and proud of what you accomplished. It takes guts to do what you did and know that there are millions of guys out there that NEVER would have considered doing what…

I don't agree with the 10 seconds you're suggesting at all. I've changed my mind about girls after 10 seconds of meeting them (whether it was I became interested or lost it) and women do the same thing. Looks are important for the first encounter, but after you're introduced, I firmly believe a killer personality can win you over anyone you desire.

If she's pretty unresponsive, maybe it's best to leave her be for a bit. Either she'll turn her act around or it's better to spend your evening with someone who actually will appreciate your company.

Well, worst case scenario, you're unique and she'll definitely remember your conversation. I think the more off-beat or unique a conversation topic, the more likely someone will actually enjoy the conversation. You can only talk about the weather so many times. Talking about what we'd be like if we had evolved from dinosaurs, or where to go in zombie attacks are randomer topics, so higher risk at worrying the person out, but definitely potential for more reward.

I feel like the example you gave for a last-ditch text feels kind of defeatist. I usually cool off on them for a week or two and try again, no change in game plan. Changing what I plan on saying or doing just because a girl was flaky feels like I'm giving her too much power for no reason, so I avoid that like the plague. If they're not even answering texts though, I usually just write that one off as a loss and move on. As for why they were hot for ya, and then went cold? Could be a million reas…

They say that drunk acts are sober thoughts... or something like that. If you like how seductive you are when you've got some alcohol in your system, there's nothing that has really changed except for your reservations. Your shyness is the only thing you really need to work on. You have the tools already, you just gotta pick up and start swinging the hammer, so to speak. Basically, like I tell anyone that wants advice on becoming more outgoing - even though you're sitting there worrying about th…

Basically, whatever club or group you're in, own it. I firmly hold to the idea that as long as you have an interest and passion in something that doesn't harm others, it's automatically awesome and has value; it's enriching your life and making you a better person. That's why I tend to never put down someone's hobbies. Whatever your hobbies, whether its video games, or football or playing the violin, it's something that makes you better and brings you happiness. Don't be ashamed of it, take prid…

I think it's important to note here that we're down voting the hell out of you here because of the negativity. You're an awesome, unique person. Any girl would be lucky to have you touch them. Be confident in yourself! You have so much to offer the world.

I never neg a girl hard on her insecurities. I feel good in the company of girls and friends, and I want them to feel good in my presence too. I'll tease, but make it clear that I'm joking. The only time I'm ever openly negative about something is more about calling women (or anyone for that matter) out on their shit. If they're lying, manipulative or otherwise just being unpleasant, I'll call them out on it.

If you want to fake it until you make it, something I read awhile ago that I think might help you is to not look directly where you're touching when you do the kino. If you're going to put your hand on her back, then look forward to where you're directing her, don't be staring at your hand moving to her back. That should help take away a lot of the awkwardness, and before you know it, you'll be doing it naturally.

Kino is super important. You've got to touch the girl eventually, and you've got to make her comfortable with you touching her. You don't go up and start hugging/groping random strangers, but it's not that out of place to put a hand on someone's shoulder if you're talking, or on their back if you're leading them somewhere, or even a high five if they do something cool. You can start with innocent kino like high fives or handshakes and stuff and make your way to more sexual ones as you progress. …

I disagree, some guys learn these skills with the intention of finding someone special, and not to have threesomes and ONS every night. This guy might be only looking for a casual fling, or maybe the real deal, but you can't just assume without getting to know the guy.

If you'd have asked me this a few months ago, I would have said I wouldn't pursue out of respect for the boyfriend. But that's not respecting myself or this girl. She's a big girl, she can make her own decisions. I'm not going to pursue her as hard as I normally would, but I'll ensure there's plenty of opportunity if she's interested as well.

I honestly try to win the group over first. From there, I gauge interest and make my choice from there, but my original sights will probably be focused on the one I find the most attractive.

I think something important to do is stop looking at it negatively. You're disappointed that you can't approach, you feel terrible that you get the eye contact and do nothing and you feel like a failure since you're not improving. The negative thoughts only build on themselves. If you live in negativity, you'll only breed negativity. Instead, I think it's important to be positive. Even if you take baby baby steps like others are rightly suggesting, you need to stay positive. Embrace who you curr…

This is sound advice. If you can go into a club or anywhere completely care-free about the outcome, you'll have a better, looser time. Enjoy the company of friends, talk to girls you find interesting, but most importantly, make sure you're having fun. That's the most important thing of all. Great work though. It still takes courage to put yourself out there. There are millions of guys too scared to make that step you're making each time you go up and say hi to a girl. Even if you think you faile…

I think the best piece of advice you'll get is to be simply genuine in all of your interactions. If you're warm and friendly, then everything else will start to fall into place. When you listen, actually pay attention to what they are saying. Show interest and act questions. The people that stick out in others minds aren't always the wittiest or cleverest ones. It can also be the person who takes a minute out of their day to really listen to what someone has to say.

That's just something you kinda gotta grow out of. If you don't want to say just "good" then spice it up a little. "Never better" or "great, now that you're here" are nice alternatives.

It's cool that you want to work on your game and figure out how kino works, but there's a time and a place. You're at work, and she's married. Hands off, literally.

At the end of the day, it's important to remember that she comes home to you. That in itself should help alleviate your worries. She has all of these orbiters that you mention, but they aren't you. Remember what makes you awesome! If you're having trouble with self-confidence, take your mind off of your worries. Take up some new hobbies, or revisit some old ones. After stressful days for myself, nothing beats coming home and belting out some music on my piano, or hitting the floor and seeing how…

Before I began self-improvement, it was a big cycle of video games, watching anime, junk food and masturbation. I haven't completely kicked all of those habits (I mean, video games are still a great past time for me) but I've definitely cut down on everything substantially, and enjoy some new activities like working out and meditation. I also got back into a lot of things I used to do when I was a lot younger: I play ice hockey again, I took the piano up again, I write short stories (as well as …

Sometimes if it's a good acquaintance of mine I'll grab them in a hug or grab their shoulder and mention how I haven't seen them in forever, and how life has been for them (even if I just saw them the other day). It generally gets a good response if you play it over the top. Otherwise, I just ask them how they are, or comment on something, whether it's to neg them or just a compliment. If I'm seeing them in the hallway, I generally keep the conversations short and interesting. I mean, I've got p…

Any rehearsal you make up will fail the second you start up a conversation. It has to be natural. If you're in a conversation with her and feel like its progressing well, ask for her number.

If you treat it as a date (work up the kino, flirty behaviour), then it likely will be a date. The only way you will become a "beer buddy" is if you don't make your intentions known in any way.

How about honesty? You haven't found someone you're really interested in, you enjoy being single, you're busy with other things (work, school, etc.). Unless they ask and you're immediately like "fuck women", I don't really see how you can give off a wrong answer.
