As someone trying to figure out what the fuck I want out of life, what I have to offer, and digging deep into what makes me the individual I am, the idea of writing a biography has intrigued me in the past and you just gave me a lot of motivation to do it. At least in some small capacity. I'm currently at a cross roads in my life where I feel as free as ever, and like I dont have to lie about my life and who I am anymore. But I still lost so much of my confidence over the years. I swear the last…

If you can't meet because you live far from each other, you could just call her out on her lack of responsiveness. I don't know what the tone of her responses are, but if they're dry feel free to let her know "Hey, you don't really seem interested in talking." That's worked for me when talking to girls who weren't putting much effort into the conversation

When you tapped the friend's shoulder, did you just stare, holding eye contact, or what did you do?

Honestly if Im having a conversation, and it isnt interesting, or its getting to the awkward part, i usually just move on. I feel like at that point its a sign the person isnt in the mindset to have an interesting conversation, or were not compatible. You might think I just give up on it, but I feel like there are just so many better things to do than try to force conversation with someone whose seemingly disinterested

What about the gym situation at a college campus. So many faces come in and out of the gym, it's like a revolving door. I'll see the same cute girl I might have noticed before every so often, but that's it.

"Whoa, already talking about sex? At least take me to dinner first" I've used this "take me to dinner first" joke for a lot more than just this shit test and it always produces a good response. It's lighthearted and makes you the prize.

This is the kind of great content which I've missed from this sub. This will help anyone towards finding success in not just their dating life but life in general

As fundamental as Models is to the ideal this sub was built on, too few people seem to use it's methodology on this sub nowadays. This book is incredibly insightful, and too many questions I see on a daily basis on this sub are answered by referencing Models.

Very nice read. The statement of just trying to visualize where you want to be in life, and to go for it is so important.

An example he uses in the book is when he is with a girl who was clearly into sarcasm. She loved that kind of humor. After they have a drink, she comments on how he drank his so slow, and he says "Not all of us hate ourselves like you." Obviously there's clear sarcasm, and it's just a playful stab. Not really an insult, but not a compliment either.

I have a few options right now, just haven't put in much work to meet more girls and i find it'd be pretty tough either way considering all my friends are away for the summer.

If you're completely new, read the side-bar for helpful content and read up on some books. Models by Mark Manson is the consensus place to start. No More Mr. Nice Guy is also good really helpful.

First: "You're hot and i want to fuck you" is what you're SUPPOSED to convey. You should not feel any guilt, remorse, or embarrassment from your desires. You're a sexual being, and you have to see yourself as one for women to see you as one. Second: I haven't done cold approaches at a mall per say, but like most approaches just go up to her and say whatever pops into your head. Don't even think or worry about if it's not the correct thing to say. You could say something completely stupid or illo…

I met a girl at my summer camp a few weeks ago and we clicked pretty well. She definitely seemed into me. I asked her out a few days after the camp ended, but she replied with that she wasn't available that set date. I responded with something along the lines of "Oki, maybe some other time". She said that definitely around August. I figured she just wanted some freedom in the summer to hook up or do whatever with any guy she may want, and i haven't thought much about it. Just means i have equal …

The first rule completely goes against most of what i've ever heard for seduction. Assuming the conversation is just polite and not sexual at all can lead to missing the those chances when it is sexual. If it indeed was just a polite and platonic interaction then when you make a move, you will just be rejected. Rejection should mean nothing to you if you're ever picking up women, you should learn to become numb to it. It's natural, happens all the time, and should not be seen with negativity. If…

Thanks, what approach do you suggest for my current situation? Keep talking to more women, including in the camp, pay her less attention and have her chase me?

I swear i tricked myself into thinking i was confident as hell back in 9th grade after being the awkward, weird kid in middle school and i can't thank myself enough for that. By just actively thinking, what would a confident person do in my current situation and acting upon that, i slowly gained real confidence.

I've always had issue finding solid advice that applies to my environment because of where I live and how small the schools are here compared to US highschools. Shit tons of cliques form between highschools and girls are much more socially aware of how they are perceived due to this more communal setting, where as in the US people forget the vast majority of their own class. This kind of environment makes tips i find here hard to apply because of how less open girls are, but OP's definitely stan…

I like this a lot. It's a way more honest approach to it an. the determination and confidence in the fact that you'll tell her your feelings and that she will like you. That she will become attracted to you, and if she does just push you, you let go and let her push until she realizes that you're not gonna waste your time.

Problem is she'll probably immediately think you're being insincere and actually looking to hit on her. Telling her you have a gf immediately makes her think you just stated that you're not available, therefor she has no reason to believe you're hitting on her. Specially considering the question is about getting your gf a gift

Wow that was incredibly insightful and so easy to try. He must have taken time to think this all out. Only issue is if the top girl you first talked to talks to another girl about you having a girlfriend, but that doesn't necessarily mean that girl won't want you. Great podcast.

17 in highschool and have been where you are. It all starts within yourself. You gotta be confident, and learn to show it. Girls love it. If you see a lady you'd like, do not be afraid to act like it and don't hide it. You cannot be afraid of rejection. It's a normal outcome in dating and life. If you're rejected, fuck it. Theres tons of other girls to go after, and even if it may seem like this one was special, odds are she wasn't. Always, put yourself above everything else. As selfish as it so…

Damn. Your post hit home for me. Struggling through the divorce of my parents this past year, and an added ridiculous amount of stress between schoolwork and a shit ton of extracurricular activities, coupled with heavy oneitis with a past crush after making out with her and letting myself get dragged back into crushing on her. It's all caused me to fall into a huge state of desire/emptiness where i really didn't feel happy or whole a lot of the time. Often felt lonely, and was always thinking ho…

Interesting how people seek contradictions and contrast to get our brain stimulated. Pretty much anything that stays the same eventually stimulates us less and less, till we look for those contradictions.
