Women are sexualised pretty much all the time. That's one of the consequences of founding our civilization on natural selection.

Outrageous, disgusting example of misandry, and what's even worse - misandry enabled by the system

Yeah, I guess everything's temporary. It's sad that people are willing to act only when things get really bad tho. Today's "progressive" ideas are not progressive at all. They are reactionary to the things that are just not that deep - but still - in the past.

A woman would never say something like that
/r/MensRights06/08/24 02:22 PM

Women would definitely feel this way even if it's not true. That's female nature and it takes a really self-aware one to notice. Most people are not self-aware enough, at least not unless it's pointed out to them. Another thing is that women would much easier find a new partner than men so their threshold is lower. There's also therapy mentioned. It is true that therapy works for most women and some men. But projecting therapy as a solution by female partner screams two things: 1. She's ignorant…

An example question in that manner would be to ask her to show a country where women are banned from leaving, dragged out of universities and sent to war whereas men are allowed to freely leave this country and continue their education abroad.

I'd like to see her reasoning behind connection of rape and sexual assault with misogyny. I don't think a conscious hatred towards women correlates with rape. Why does she specify women as rapists? How about being forced to penetrate? Is it rape by her definition? If not, why? Aren't the culture norms behind men always wanting sex misandry? This list could go on and on and on for this question and each one of the rest. Third one is really ironic and shows her ignorance. Forth one btw? Does anyon…

I have no idea who you are talking about but would encourage everyone to focus on ideas, not people. Read, learn and develop your view based on ideas you take from others, of course giving the credit to the original authors, but don't expect them to agree with you on everything or discredit the idea because of something else these authors said or done. It is not rare for someone to have an ingenious insight once, but say/do complete bs on other occasion.

I'll get my engineering degree in few months. I've been following such stories for some time. It's very disturbing, but there's no way I'm going to give up my interests and passion. I think of it as a fight we have to take up now, in order for some future generation of boys not to have to go through the same. I mean, they can't keep doing this in a long run. American companies would get outcompeted by China, they can't change natural preferences of boys and girls either. Given the choice and cha…

It [esports] pulls in huge amounts of male students It is not the same. Title 9 or whatever doesn't seem to have a problem with female only scholarships. I don't want scholarships for people interested in eSports (idc 99% of them are male), I want them to explicitly address male gender or remove gender as a factor for any kind of scholarship anywhere.

I could write a 100 pages essay on this if I had time. You are assuming there is a some sort of higher purpose more important than an individual man's life, which I suppose is a certain nation independence. I disagree on this level already, as civilization we should strive to put human's life (more specifically their conscious experience of a life) above anything else. Biological fact can totally be sexist, against male or female, more often than not I'd say it is. I do not see a reason to exclu…

Except you're far better off in Poland than Ukraine because NATO. There won't be any war against NATO. For now. NATO is alone, nobody will give shit about NATO if Poland triggers something there and with its current politics, they are asking for it. Germany would leave NATO, France, everyone. The US is losing power and influence all over the world, and the only supporter they really have is Poland, South Korea, Japan and Izrael. Poland will be lost of it continues its current politics. Retirement age not dependant on gender, lower male to female suicide ratio (I haven't check bu usually western countries have around 3:1, while eastern Europe is 8:1), your wage allows you to buy more things than just rent. From a recent post here you can also see it's the only country in Europe with more people sceptical about feminism, than blindly adoring it. I'll copy my response from other comment because I really don't want people to believe this bs about Poland. as countries become more feminist, gender inequality becomes greater Paradoxically, this is exactly what Gender Equality Index (or something like this) Global Gender Gap Index measures. This is another example of normalization of these kind of vocabulary where equality means inequality ("war is peace", etc.). Here is an attempt of a more just measure - Basic Index of Gender Inequality (BIGI).

It's weird because actually the movie doesn't even portray patriarchy as something bad. The fact that the viewer should be against is implied and feminism is kind of an equivalent of what they call patriarchy in the movie. Out of context, it is perfectly fair to side with the Patriarchy in the movie. Not only the kens had a right to revolt, they were treated extremely unfair throughout and at the end of the movie. So the film can be interpreted as anti-feminist if we assume that feminism stands …

Y’all have put too much energy into this movie. Yes, although I kind of think this might be a big deal for the western world. And don't forget, the views on society in the west have impact on the entire globe, e.g. boys being excluded from international funding of children education in third world countries. its driving me harder to the right Actually, I remembered something that maybe is interesting, this is possibly a common feeling. Once I've seen a TikTok of one of the leaders of right wing capitalist party in my country baffled with the statistic saying 20% of people identifying as left wing want to vote for them. I think this can be explained in a simple sentence, "a traitor is worse than an enemy".

This is truly tragic. As a leftist myself, I believe in fundamental ideas of equality and justice but today's left can't be described by anything other than double standards. And the fact that feminism, which I see as a tool of the elites and capitalism to create conflicts between men and women penetrated the left is really ironic, in a sad way.

His character is actually an interesting take for a second, ruined by the disgusting ending. Regarding the role itself, it is similar to those of his past and even suits the "I'm literally him" meme, which is quite sad in its own way, however I hope some find comfort in it. The movie is running because of him. I don't think that's the case at all. And actually, it doesn't matter.

They still miss out on a way bigger pool of male talent than female. Particularly because nobody ever encourages boys to get into STEM in the first place. Boys get interested because that's their nature, girls prefer interaction with living objects (and dominate related STEM fields), boys non-living (and their domination shrinks because of discriminatory practices). The worst factor of them all - the education system, which makes boys hate school, even what they would have easily enjoyed if only…

Men were freaking forced to die in countless wars and not allowed the opportunity as much as women if you look at what percentage of all people had access to education. It's pretty obvious why if you think about it. More conscious people are more likely to pursue higher education. The more consciousness, the more existential suffering. And the more people suffer, the more prone they are to ideologies that give attention to their problems. Feminism is a typical parasite ideology that manipulates its believers by giving simple, pseudo-logical answers. And women will fall for that, regardless of their intelligence. Because they are desperate and in pain.

It's really a private thing. Idc if my woman has sex with others, I know she loves me and she knows I love her no matter what I do. This is just a text generator. Chat gpt will list you sources out of thin air for what it says, too. They don't have access to the internet and just fill the patterns of human text they learned from the data. We are way closer to let you train such a model on your own (rn e.g. with Alpaca) than actually resolving this issue. Most victims of violence are men, how is that not gendered issue. If men are targeted more often, gender plays a role. And if the reason for violence is different and the acts itself (like bullying is school or domestic violence), this is also a premise it's gendered issue. Not to mention lack of recognition.

You don't think that being tagged as being less mature would be unfair to those that are in fact mature? They would graduate a year older than women You could say that about many kids now who could start the school even earlier. There would also be plenty of boys with higher scores than the average (or even above average) girl that would be unfairly affected by red shirting. I don't get it. One has to set the starting age to something. By choosing the same for boys and girls you have a lot of children negatively affected by your decision already and the problem is clearly gendered. Some countries have it already. Due to different retiring age for men and women in Poland (65 to 60), women living up to 8 years longer and various public health care programs exclusive to women one could say that polish tax system is basically redistribution from men to women. Some boys are not school-ready and get held back a year, so the solution is to...hold back all boys 1 year? How is that "dreadful"? The number of boys with top reading scores is incomparably lower than girls. Should those who do not lag behind also be held? Yes, there's almost none, anyone who has ever taken any statistics and probabilistic classes should agree. I don't care in what way it is used at the moment, as long as you will distort reality you can't find solutions. Preschool and primary school boys lag behind girls 1/2 years on average in reading, social skills, ability to form connections, unstructured play etc. Not accounting for these factors will only make things worse. Of course it is a good thing but schools shouldn't expect boys to be at the same level as girls at the certain age. It is well known fact that boys in general achieve social and emotional maturity way later than girls.

Why hire a woman for a job if I can get the same quality of work from a man without having to give out the extra leave? They will get bonuses and generally more money if they hire women. It's already the case so unfortunately I'm pretty sure they find a way to "balance" this out. And who is contributing the most to tax money? And that's why most countries don't set this boundary at birth. After birth you can't. That's the boundary. Birth is a traumatizing experience and no one should be forced to do that if they are scared. It all depends on the individual whether or not it'd be fair to keep that person. True sexual harassers shouldn't be tolerated. (It's worse because abortion ban affects you when you are pregnant and if you are really scared you can work something out at least for a while whereas with draft being born is enough and any way to avoid it is illegal meaning there's no way for a vast majority of men). I don't know much about t…

We are not simply talking about "calling out certain women for their wrongdoings" tho. The case is a chance to bring up attention to a big issue. Men are not oppressed by "certain" women but the entire system.

10 months, wow. Yeah, I'd trade for that. Men could literally be sentenced to death or risk of severe damage at any time in almost every country.

If only they guarded their other borders as much as they do western one. Wishing someone death is probably forbidden on Reddit unless you're a woman so I'll just say I hope these guards and governors get what they deserve.

Sounds like a great news. Why would a man ask a woman out, not the opposite? Why would a man pay instead of a woman and why the hell would it be a man to initiate sexual intercourse?? "Romantic"...

Feminists are often people with mental issues for whom it's all about prestige and their ego. They found a way to achieve this prestige by identifying with the abstract group of women just like sports club's supporters do. One of the parts of their identity at this point is being seen as a victim, so they will deny that women hold privileged position as much as they can. What they want is transfer of this "hard power" while holding "soft power", they want position of men without consequences and…

It always seemed so weird to me that people dare to describe the way society is organized today as "patriarchal". With a man not being the head of family and not being seen as such there is simply no patriarchy, officially and unofficially.

You are talking total bullshit. The people you call Nazis are nationalists at best who everybody laughs at, not different from other groups in the countries in the region with almost no impact on Ukrainian politics. They didn't overthrow the government, people who wanted to be free from Russia did. Literally everything is better than alliance with Russia, even being USA puppet. If you claim there were cities supporting Russia after their invasion, which are they? exactly ordinary population of w…

And this coup is total bullshit. Is it so hard to see why people in Ukraine or Belarus dont want their state to be russian puppet? US doesn't have to stage anything. But all of this doesn't matter, all I care about is that men can't leave this hell.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 09:56 PM

You are talking about that, right. It was widely covered in Poland and now nobody mentions that. However Russia uses it as an excuse for an attack in which they murder innocent people. Soldiers are ordered to shoot civilians. If Bandera lovers and Nazis were such a huge russian hating force killing innocent Russians how Moscow claims why then cities with like 80% Russian population on the East fought back against its soldiers? If that was true these poor guys manipulated by their government woul…

Being subjugated to Russia means poverty for nearby nations, that's why each of them wants NATO to be involved in the region as much as possible. They have been through it. And with the attack on Ukraine you can exactly see why these small nations around will do everything for US to place nukes there. It's not even about expansion of NATO, countries here want it so badly NATO has no choice but to expand. And Russia's war is all about access to tons of gas found in Ukraine so just like US wars. I…

This will not be over if there are sick psychopaths in Kremlin that believe NATO is a hostile alliance. What do they think, what will NATO do with its "expansion"? Do they want Russia to be world superpower again? It's a past and will not happen again. And if that's what they really want it only shows how sick Russian government is. Are you Russian btw?

I don't know anyone from Kharkov. West side of Ukraine is the direction that seems the only choice tbh that's why I was interested in your weird suggestion. Videos are pretty decent source so if that was the case at least for some men to escape to Russia and actually get help then great, just seems highly unbelievable. But any good news would be, well, good.

So how do you know? I can read Russian well enough to, with a help of translator, understand an article. Although even European search engines that are highly focused on privacy often filter out Russian propaganda it still wouldn't be a problem to find a browser that does not. I also am able to spot propaganda on western news easily so Russian one, which is way less subtle shouldn't be an issue. If you think there's a Russian source that genuinely informs about helping civilians and how Ukrainia…

That's good of them. Still sending help straight to Ukraine seems like a better idea tho, people there are at the highest risk of losing life. Most of people making it into these centres are not men, and I'm particularly concerned about empathy gap here.

1) That's not true. 2) Even if that was, then great. What's the point in fighting for a country nobody wants to fight for. Biden/NATO/Zelenksy only proved they are just like Russia. If Putin is compared to Hitler then Zelenksy is like Stalin here.

These smugglers are the only chance for men in place like Ukraine and the fact that 7/10 people were men in these boats from Africa is a very special and great thing. Military aged men are in the most dangerous position in war, they are the primary target and should be the first to evacuate. It's wrong of these smugglers they charge so much money, but they often are the only hope for men - genuine refugees who don't want to die in war, or build up the country or w/e you morons expect from a man …

None should be drafted against their will. If the country does force military service upon it's citizens however, women shouldn't be excluded. It doesn't make sense to have the same rights as a citizen but not the same duties. Again tho, forcing anybody into military should be considered a crime, very barbarian one and the fact that men have to suffer through this right now is breaking my heart.

My personal observation is that a lot of girls are extremely unemphatic and judgmental towards many boys, especially if they have some problems with social skills - and experience of trauma caused by mother may result in being very awkward. That's been kind of my experience. I was bullied in school for years, by boys, but girls liked those boys and enjoyed very much what they were doing and were laughing. I didn't manage to get much relationships with guys either tho. But I found a girl, a girl …

In each of Garland's films I've seen there is some weird theme about men's sexuality. It's very subtle which makes everything worse because people don't realize how toxic these normalizations are. "28 days later" ending is literally a group of soldiers turning into rapists all of a sudden and a man justified to kill all of them for sake of saving fragile women. 1) wtf, stop portraying men as rapists all the time, most are not. It just feels like people think that what a man wants is sex - given …

I'd like to see an example of "all women are evil approach" because I did not notice such. And if you find feminists groups "accepting", well, I don't know what to say, I'd like to hear about some examples from feminists subreddits too then.

It's good they reacted so fast. Male and female students in Europe get along pretty well in STEM fields. It's American big companies and feminists with hang-ups that advocate for this disgusting push for women in tech. Feminism is like McDonald's - harmful, spreading everywhere and unfortunately copied by a lot of local communities.

this is ridiculous, statistically even 3 years difference would be huge in that case tbh (like in most western countries) and in Poland it's about 6 or 8, can't remember right now
/r/MensRights01/04/22 09:02 AM

I guess it was motivated by that. But it doesn't take any account for whether a woman is a mother or not. Women in Poland often end up in a not-so-great situation in old age, that's right. Bit it's not different for men and they usually don't have even that opportunity. The difference in life expectancy between men and women is twice as big as in let's say Germany.

You're right on focusing the energy. The secret of change is to build the new, not fighting the old. However, I did not notice any hatred towards women, at all. The only things that are being hated are feminist/conservative views that hurt men. Many women who proclaim themselves as feminist are good people and believe in equality, however feminists do a terrible job at addressing misandry, way worse than MRs do with misogyny. Feminism cannot be tolerated as a whole, although some individuals the…

This is the time to act. You talk about misandry in times when misandry is not allowed to talk about. That's how change works, it always comes from the bottom. Nothing will ever change in higher education if your advise is just "to fuck them" - you can't afford that, universities are too important. What if so many people who openly talk about misandry stayed silent? They have a lot of supporters. Don't bring feminist habits of fear, convincing everyone how bad it is. There's a lot of people who …

Such a stupid approach. What's the point if you advise someone not to go public. Of course he should, go ahead. Never be silent on the injustice. No matter the consequences. There's only one way to avoid criticism - do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.
/r/MensRights25/03/22 11:10 PM

It's not about justifying anything. I don't get it why people have to point that out talking about things like that. If society has a problem of such type, healthy and actually the only way to solve it is looking at cases like this, what caused them, and trying to help in advance. Focusing on perpetrators before they become ones. That should be obvious. As long as our society will be ruled by fear and punishments nothing will change, at least not for the better.

I see no difference between giving an order to shoot civilians and giving one preventing them from possibility to save themselves. This news has been devastating. I live in Poland, there's a lot of help for refugees organized here, even allowing Ukrainian students to carry on their education. Preventing male citizens from this chance is single the most unjust thing about this war, a war crime. I can't stand the fact that men's lives are considered less valuable. I can't believe that honestly. What has happened to these people? Ironically they call these kind of things "equality", "inclusion". Imagine a young boy seeing that, his subconsciousness... It's hard to assess that. There are many areas where it got better and it's not that weird to talk about male issues nowadays - when I feel like there's no hope I go on youtube watch for example TED talks, where people criticize feminism, stand for male rights, talk about boys problems. But still that's exception sadly and most mainstream media, political movements, policy makers, literally everyone who has whatever impact on the masses, all of them don't seem to acknowledge the abundance of iss…

"I refuse to let masculine men dehumanised" agreed on that one. But I'm also against narrative of let them do what they want. For both - men and women, there are certain things they use to do that affect how others feel about themselves for some reason (weird but true I guess). And this sports American football style culture is toxic for men in my opinion. After all what people want to do is only a product of societal pressure and beauty standards for men go far beyond just looks - making them a…
