This title is false, and does a disservice to this subreddit. If you actually click on the link provided, the female prosecutor did not withhold anything. She is actually slamming the PD for not turning over this evidence.

ohhhhh man, i've been at my lab since 1pm today and its almost midnight right now. Reading that gave me a good chuckle. Research can be rewarding, but holy crap is it stressful. Thing is about prosthetics is I think you need a good mechanical background, I don't know how you would compensate with your background. I would assume you would need at the very least: calc 1-3, phys1-2, and maybe a few other lower level undergraduate courses. I wish you the best.

I'm actually tissue engineering right now, I like it but I'm about to be senior year of undergrad so I haven't fully committed to this field yet. I took an bio imaging class that really fascinated me, MRI's are really cool. But as far as a profession in it, I have no idea what kind of life its like, its one thing being lectured on something that already works, and another to try and improve it. Whats your undergraduate background?

No, I'm still looking at schools while studying for GREs. BU BME has a 3.8avg. I have a 3.43 =/

I actually know someone who got a 70k a year project manager job when he was 20. He's a goof ball who was going to a CC too and it randomly fell into his lap lol.

??? What school did you apply to, I'm BioMed Engineering and I don't hear of anyone getting free tuition, getting funding is lab supplies and board(hopefully) at best.

Idk about this, Smells like BS to me. You can't just not get your PHD that way. To get a PHD you need about 4 years worth of research to build your dissertation. Unless the school expelled her for filing false rape charges (which never happened on any level) then theres no reason for the board to reject her dissertation.

I completely disagree with everyone who is taking the better man path. That guy scummed you, the ball is in your court and theres no such thing as the "right" thing to do.

Well, they don't. She struggles to have a love life, despite how hot she is. That was kind of the whole point, but I digress.

Well with todays treatment a lot of people get downgraded into "undetectable counts". Which is the suppression of the virus to the point where the concentration is too low to measure in the blood. They still have the virus, but its chances of transmission through genital fluids are reduced. But there is gaps in the research, we know that while it is undetectable in the blood, it is still detectable in genital fluids. We do not know yet how much HIV is needed in the fluid to transmit but we have …

Ah, makes much more sense now. But as far as the article, its a narrative, she's telling a story on a HIV pos website. She's only offering her perspective. I don't know what its like dating HIV pos people, it was an interesting insight. But my question is why flame? Its not like she's blatantly calling out people for not marrying her. She accepts the fact that she is considered tainted and doesn't seem to be surprised. The only problem with her rational is her failure to recognize that everyone …

OP I fail to see your point, after reading the article the only thing I can disagree with is her final statement HIV has become a sort of filter for me. I see the people who ghost me as the dirt and silt who obviously aren't interested in me as a person, and the people who continue to get to know me and educate themselves as the gems that remain She assumes people who ghost here just are shallow for not being able to see through her HIV status. When in reality, dating someone with HIV is scary a…

Wow, she's really fucking with you. Maybe she gets off on having risky meet ups in front of her boyfriend. Go for it anyway, and tell her to leave her boyfriend at home this time.

Thank you, I've known this for a while but it seems to be more effective when someone else can come to the same conclusion, completely removed from my own little world.

You might be under estimating your rating there, its easy to do so after a long time of not getting it. Be fit, buff, and have nice clothes that don't look like you mashed together and a dapper haircut. You shouldn't have much of a problem scoring a 5 if your REALLY that ugly.

A hot girl? no not really, but if your a 4 you might score up to a 5 1/2 on a good night.

I think your taking an extremely impulsive take on this situation, you don't know their lives. He was the man of honor. If the husband had full knowledge of it then why the fuck not? You don't know their lives, but on the other hand, she is almost required to relay this information to her husband. Because it is out of the ordinary and not being transparent about it is suspect.

No one was encouraging her, this isn't a TRP post. They were discouraging the owner for using twitter as a medium to fire her instead of in person. IMO a pizza place doesn't call for a high level of professionalism to warrant a discussion about the way he fired her.

Kinda sad, not really an accomplishment to post about, the fact that you let your friend kiss you for her amusement was very very beta.
