As a woman i would lose interest in you if i found out you wanted to date someone else at the same time. But there are women who wouldn't mind i'm sure, i don't know anyone who would be ok with it though.

Yep, i have been surprised over the men i can get attracted to by just getting to know them, just being a decent guy makes a huge difference, and often the guys i see that i think look nice and have a conversation with turn out to be total dicks. I'd like to find a good combo. :) And I'm not attracted to the typical guys either in case men here feel like they are not the model attractive man, every person likes something different.

Yeah of course you don't share as much with each other either, you don't get as close so it's different, i guess it's more the communication and hanging out, having conversations that will be the beneficial part.

It's tricky, as a woman who's not a hipster i do like the somewhat hipster guys, but i do think they don't notice me so much because they look for hipster girls. I guess you have to start a conversation with them!

My best house shares have been with guys, everyone minds their own business most of the time, and sometimes you hang out. As long as everyone does their share and don't bug each other it works great. However i think it's off putting to share with an unknown guy as you don't know if he thinks he's gonna get laid if he shares with you, so stay neutral with your house mates.

Practice! After some time it will come naturally, and it will still happen now and then that it doesn't, but it's also ok, not every time you meet people do you have to keep a conversation going. Also don't be afraid to ask people question, where they are from, what did they do last night etc. And don't be afraid to tell about yourself either, but don't forget to listen!

It's not constructive? I'm telling the truth, i thought honesty would be valued in this subreddit. This is how i interpreted his question and i gave a response on how i think the situation is. Woman here, i never thought about this, so well, it's really individual. If i'm really into a guy i want to touch his hands, like if you grab eachothers hands and squeeze them it's revealing you really like eachother, in general hugs, other touch on someones back etc it's not always clear, friends do that too.
