Problem is, how do you control your Reddit addiction without losing access to all the useful parts of Reddit, like TRP, science subs and fitness subs? In a training program I watched once, the guy was teaching how to install new productive habits in your life. At one point he said that if you just focus on installing the good habits, the bad ones will fall out of your life by default. For example, if you focus on eating a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you won't be very hungry for snacks …

Another thing putting girls on a pedestal does is that it prevents you from seeing their flaws. These chicks he's talking about might have hot bodies, but that does not mean they have their lives figured out. They may have all sorts of personal problems that brings their self-perceived SMV down to the level of the guys that he is describing.

shaming is essentially used by lower SMV/post-wall women to disqualify their younger and more attractive competition. Shaming/criticism is not just used in TRP terms. It is used by pretty much everyone around the world to criticize those who have something that they do not. You see it everywhere: Poor people claiming that rich people are evil. Ugly people claiming that attractive people are shallow. Etc.
