The whole Balloon Show Guy scenario was the thing that popped the bubble for me. All the dudes in comment sections applauding that guy for being sassy back with the women. TRP sure has changed because of the indoctrination of Fresh and Fit. Nowadays it is just angry dudes who were not successful at PUA or ACTUALLY living the RP life that are just bitter at women, given up yet still claim they are "high value".

Agree. All them PUA coaches years back kept trying to hustle their courses by saying looks don't matter. It shouldn't stop one from trying and improving... but looks def matter.

But what if I'm a Pepsi guy??
/r/seduction20/05/24 01:22 PM

I've been into TRP for a long time. When that crap kept getting spewed by the manosphere is when I slowly started disassociating with that movement. They talk about it like it's a MUST for men and what all "high value men" want. The movement nowadays tries to force the thoughts of a few onto the many.

I was thinking the same. It's like when you need to draft up an assignment for a college course the next morning so you just start brain rambling things trying to sound academic.

You don't have enough info in his history to shut him down like that. Could be him, could be 2 terrible girls by chance. You don't know.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 12:02 PM

How often can this topic come up?? There needs to be a stickied mega thread for this.

Not entirely. Most men would rather have a real girlfriend however they are striking out hard in the dating world. So they turn to porn as an intimacy alternative.

Being the sole provider is not simping. Nor is taking care of your family. Your post sounds exactly like something a typical FnF rabid fan would say. Doing anything for a woman is considered simping. Who talks like that in regards to a wife and family??
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 12:52 PM
4

Bruh... simping and taking care of your family are completely two different things. Even FnF would tell you that. Good Lord...

None I can think of. I don't know where they came up with the idea of a woman being cancelled for this.

According to the title of porn videos nowadays... yes they are. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/24 01:23 PM

Women are typically the ones who control and buy into fashion. Most men don't care about fashion. If that's what the market (women) keep purchasing, that's what will keep getting produced. Women are in control to NOT do what is claimed to be societal expectations.

It's revelations like this why I DON'T put down The Black Pill. Some things you can and can't control. Just focus on what you can do and try not to compare (easier said than done). Just don't become a doomer and give up on everything.

That's the conundrum. An honest man gets his reputation/career even if found innocent. Both parties need to take these things VERY seriously and for no one to use these kinds of serious allegations as revenge.

Because they love money more than the women and the viewers who superchat them money want to see women get dunked on. That's an easy answer.

The preselection works if the value of the other is perceived higher in society. That's why the poor girls on your example went after the guy with the loaded girlfriend.

I think the bitterness and anger is a bit necessary IN THE BEGINNING. It's an eye opening experience to absorb the contents and the discussions in the forums. Everything you were previously taught was generic BS. The problem with TRP is that many guys never get out of that anger/enlightenment phase to then actually align the truth with their reality, do the work, then be happy. They get stuck in the anger phase because it feels powerful and dominant.

Yes but there is a disassociation from a person you will never have contact with vs reaching that person directly through social media.

I would say they are different. Thirst traps are instant dopamine hits to the individual. Porn? That's mostly stolen content reposted to places like XVidoes and PornHub. The women in those videos don't get the direct access to the attention and views as an InstaThot would.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 02:52 PM

Red Pill is not the same as PUA. In general? Red Pill is about being the best man YOU CAN BE. Get your fitness in order. Get your career in order. Get your finances in order. Find your purpose and stay on it. If you do date, understand what hypergamy is and choose your path wisely. It is about understanding laws and what you may be up against in court/custody battles. The Red Pill is about understanding and principles. It is not about silly PUA "tips and tricks to women". You confuse the two.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/23 12:49 PM
2

Agree. That is PUA stuff. The Red Pill is not pickup tactics.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/23 12:02 PM

No. Red Pill has NEVER advocated for pushing women into sex. You find a woman who is interested in you... just like any type of "pill" would advocate for.

"Vulnerable". Lol. Typical response from someone who hasn't actually talked to a passport bro. Just what you hear about from other women yelling about the passport bros.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 02:47 AM
2

No way. Those women in those rants never have anything nice to say about those men. They don't think of them having opportunity with women in their country. These women think these men are the most of the pathetic and want to voice their opinion so.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 02:32 AM
13

Correct. This is not a black pill specific thing. This is a society thing. A media thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/23 02:52 AM

You also notice how it's the man's fault with everything and he needs to change everything? Never accountability for the women. Ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/23 01:56 PM
3

Totally agree with this! Not many people think of it from the man's side at all. The common responses are thing like libido, he doesn't help with the house/kids, etc etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/23 01:39 PM
5

Moderation. You shouldn't have to give up anything over dating. No girl is going to suddenly start liking you because you "gave up video games". It's other facets of life that make one attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 01:47 AM
7

Perfectly said. Nice guys finish last, the bad boys win. And then "exciting" bad dudes sure as fuck are not courting anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 01:36 AM
3

Agree. I'm not going through the time or effort to "court and romanticize" a girl that is also speaking to 15 other dudes on Tinder. Nope.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/23 01:34 AM

Romance is earned. A lot of girls expect it early without earning it. They def killed it.

What's "SEA"?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 02:17 AM

Agree. How often can we discuss the same damn topics over and over? Becoming the best version of yourself is living your best - and that won't be found sitting on these subreddits talking about the same thing post after post.
/r/TheRedPill20/01/23 03:38 AM
4

And playing it cool does nobody good. It's just a bunch of game playing. I think the major result of the laziness is that they don't have to learn how to date. There will always be some dude up her ass trying to get her attention or take her out. Therefore doesn't need to learn the skills. The problem with that, however, is that when the right guy for her DOES come along, she has no idea on how to keep him around or interested.

Men are shy and low confident as well. But they have to pull up and do the approach anyway or be single forever. Not the same for ladies.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 01:42 PM

Girls are FUCKING LAZY daters. I swear....
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 02:28 AM

Yet women still don't approach. At least definitely not at the rate men do. Your argument doesn't exactly detract from the original meme posted.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 02:19 PM

Great way to be used for sex by the men that approached too. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 01:44 PM

Because they want to feel special that a man came up to THEM and approached. Doing it themselves would mean that "they aren't the catch" or some BS like that.

Some nice looking data to explain monkey branching. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 01:01 PM

I don't think that's true. If you don't deal with women, you aren't being left out. You aren't playing the game. That's a decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 01:35 PM
1

What's the solution for the dudes that aren't attractive to ladies in the club?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/22 05:06 AM

In their eyes, we are nothing but options that have to fight to be their number one. Fuck that. Pick one of the other dudes. I'll take myself out of this "game".
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 01:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 01:45 PM

It doesn't get better though. Maybe for rich, handsome older men (still Chad territory). Your average guy is just.... older and still not pulling in girls.

Now you are just grasping at straws in order to label all men sleazebags.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 11:31 PM
1

Yes I believe that because I am a man. The qualities that make one manly is drive, ambition, working towards a good career, taking care of your health is manly. Girls are just... girls. Do you think men's life is a bunch of high school locker room talk??
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 11:13 PM
1

No, you lost the train when you generalize that all men are taught to run through women. That is nonsense you are trying to enforce as some sort of rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 05:32 PM

You can teach people lots of things. Do they ACT upon what they are taught?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 02:41 AM

Okay, let's try and run with this. What would they be looking for?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 02:10 AM

Only the top 10% of men have the option to "run through women". Hence the "women only want high value Chads" idea became a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 02:09 AM

You DEFINITELY aren't listening to anyone. You have a rigid tunnel vision to your anecdotal evidence of a few friends. What's the point of even having this discussion if you aren't even going to consider anyone's talking points? Yeesh. You aren't trying to have a conversation. You are trying to be "right".
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 01:54 AM

Dating these days: "ENTERTAIN ME.... or you will be replaced."
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 01:20 AM

You aren't actually listening to ANY of the men in this thread telling you otherwise. You are telling people your anecdotal experiences without absorbing anyone else's.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 01:17 AM
1

You nailed it. Girls will actively scrounge for a reason to reject you (like your shoes or belt or the way you laugh) so they have a reason to window shop back on the apps. If you ain't "perfect", you're OUT.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 12:53 AM
3

You literally have the other side of the fence telling you how their experience is and you relate it back to you and your friends. The box is bigger than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 12:48 AM

You would be surprised at the amount of girls who get super bitchy or give you the stink eye just for going up and saying hi.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/22 01:59 AM

This is a key that I usually forget. If a girl is "dropping hints" and you have a hard time navigating, her interest isn't high enough. She might like your attention when she wants it, but she isn't clawing after you.

The Red Pill community needs more outrage and spark? No, I think YOU want more outrage and spark because you needs something to add some spark and excitement to your life and you just happened to bring it here. The Red Pill community absolutely does not need more controversy. This is like a Bill Burr skit gone completely wrong.

The title of your post is literally "How To Effectively Bully People In Social Settings To Improve Your Social Status"....
/r/TheRedPill07/12/21 06:26 AM

I unfortunately can't get down with that mentality. If one is so focused on every little interaction and nuance in order to plan out how to "out alpha" and bully the next guy, then one is definitely NOT living a fruitful purpose. Imagine being in constant scan mode that you don't put full energy and attention into the friends/family/dates you are on because one is looking for "alpha opportunity". Can you imagine how draining that is? Could you imagine not being able to fully enjoy a moment or ev…

/r/seduction05/10/21 04:32 PM

I have my take on the last sentence. It's like what many men has responded with in this chat - we can separate the physical attraction and the emotional attraction. We may get the physical part from a woman, but if she is missing some key aspects that would make her "girlfriend/wife material", then it doesn't go any farther than just sex. Those particular requirements differ from guy to guy but to put it general, things like the following go through our heads. How does she make me feel when we a…

I can't believe girls find this garbage amusing in their profiles. I guess I should look at it as a positive to just swipe left and keep it moving.

Your first post was outstanding. Men resort to video games and porn. It is not the first choice. I'm not sure why women try to combat this idea in every way possible. I'm guessing it is just easier to argue that way.

There are exceptions and I hope people can find them. I myself have been burned out of my experiences with AWALT so my mindset unfortunately has become jaded and hard as a rock. That doesn't mean others can fight for a better outcome.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen26/09/21 05:05 PM

I fully agree. This guy cannot work on his face symmetry and this girl deemed all his other redeeming qualities as subpar because of it. This is exactly how blackpill mindset happens and completely understandably so.

That whole message. That right there sums up dating in this generation. Doesn't matter how awesome of a dude you are. These girls are always on the lookout for the next best thing and a rekindling of "the tingles".

I'd imagine it translates to you being a good, reliable and financially stable partner. Not the one that sparks them butterflies in the nether regions. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a safe thing. You wouldn't be that fling mentality that overdrives their emotions.

Why drag a new man into that kind of drama/danger? That poor guy has to now fight for a married woman that he isn't the husband of.

I know exactly how you feel. I have depression and ADHD. I tried so hard for many years to build myself up physically, financially, career wise yet it doesn't lead to anything in the romance field. The way you described how dates would just...lose that energy and the girl kind of drifting off is how all my dates go. I stopped trying to be honest. I agree with the person that said to drop the PUA stuff. I found it so mentally draining and sapped my confidence more than it should. I don't want to …

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 12:44 PM

I think you may be onto something. You are extremely right when you say that men are taught to be "emotionally unavailable". As soon as we open up is when "we are no longer the rock she thought we were". They don't want to experience that side of men. It sounds nice on paper but when actually encountered with it, the light switch turns off.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 12:40 PM
1

100 percent agree. Actions speak louder than words. And in my experience as well all guys I talk to in real life experience the same. You show emotion... then you are done. "I just don't feel as strong about you as much lately"

There are bartender courses but all the bartenders I know laughed at that course. Not fully sure why but my guess is that one really learns bartending by doing it, not training for it. The way I ways observed getting into it is to have a serving background and work your way up to the bar or starting at some extremely low key dive bar. Totally attainable at a corporate chain restaurant. Then get a good name and regulars and move onto bigger bars. Just like anything... networking, a good name and …

Oh that was well over 10 years ago. From serving to barbacking. Could be anywhere from 150-250 a night on average on the weekends. I had my great nights making $250+ and some dud slow nights making around $100. Bartenders by far made more money, my roommate at the time was the bartender and would tell me about how he'd make $300-500 a night regularly. Idk how the industry is currently but it was always a great quick cash business especially if you were doing it to get through college. I recommen…

Seriously 😂 when I was in that industry, we didn't care how hot the woman/guy was. We want our tips high, side work done early and home in our beds. It's different partying in the nightlife vs serving the nightlife.

My guess is that you can sense whether they are actually into YOU or your lifestyle. Which isn't uncharacteristic of dating women in this current age. I'm sure when a good one comes along you might be a little less rigid.

A lot of people are stating that not being able to afford them and I totally agree with that. But I would also like to add that the OLD/hookup culture as well as how quickly and irrationally couples now get divorced is another major factor why people don't want kids. The disruptance to the ideally stable family structure is way too easy to achieve these days to make you think about the person one is with and if they REALLY are the ones to have kids with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 12:40 PM
1

And most people don't talk in Red Pill/PUA lingo all day wondering about their value on the SMV/RMV scale. They will take the path of least resistance to get a release.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 05:02 AM
1

Men want the emotional needs of a spouse, but if women keep dropping guys for the next "feelings fling" that OLD has brought them, then those guys weren't having emotional needs met in the first place. May as well take care of the physical side.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 02:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 02:21 AM

This is how I see it. And I'm curious to what it looks like and what all those women will think about their past chasing after the same guys that chose some other top tier girl.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen07/06/21 04:01 AM

Exactly this. Girls are to supplement your life. Seems that the girls he's interacting with are horrible. I make a good salary and don't show it off because I don't give a damn about fancy clothes or cars or anything like that. Today's women have been spoiled by the "glamorous Instagram life" and how society gives them all the control when marriages don't work in their favor anymore.
/r/askTRP04/06/21 03:29 PM

I am convinced that all this "shit talk passing" nonsense is just reinforcing this bad behavior in girls. It's more of a hassle to deal with in the long run. Yeah, maybe "pass" them for a girl that is a fling but do you really want to be dealing with this garbage long term?

Can you elaborate on the "you look attainable and not like a loner" part? Particularly the attainable part. I can understand women wanting to talk to a guy who is friendly/likeable by other women. The attainable part confuses me.

Ha! To those guys, meditation and cold showers solve everything.
/r/seduction04/03/21 11:52 AM

That all makes total sense. They all think they can make it. It's like a digital version of Hollywood. I won't fault them for it as I browse and enjoy tons of it free here on Reddit. I could never do it myself (not like dudes would get much traction anyway) because I'd fear future career aspects being potentially hindered due to image. It's not like it's hard to find this content or potentially be identified.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen03/03/21 05:54 PM

That's what I'm thinking a lot these days. There's no way that every girl is making money on OF. It has to be a small percentage that actually hit it big?

Way too many to recall. I'm currently in therapy now dealing with a lot of it and learning experiences but no matter how much I want to rebel against "being stone cold and mysterious" all the damn time, it's proven effective. I follow a lot of the MGTOW and honestly I don't mentally agree with a lot of it. But unfortunately it's completely right. Here's a recent thread to read about guys constantly talking about the same experiences. https://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/lpnvul/how_do_you_not…

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. I've even had discussions with many friends about this topic let alone all of the guys in this thread giving their experience. Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all.

You hit every angle with this one. Your post sums up dating nowadays for us dudes. Hence why things like MGTOW is so popular. Men realizing they are in charge of their own happiness, not this rat race of dating where we have to be alpha ever single breathing second. Once slip up and you get dumped for the next dopamine hit that is a swipe away.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 03:57 AM
1

Lol yes because that is simple and affordable to all. That still doesn't detract from the REASON as to what happens when men share that side of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 12:56 AM
3

Because we DON'T want to be this way. But when we show emotion and then feel the burn, we learn a hard lesson which makes the cap on the bottle even tighter and with more gas.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 01:40 PM
13

Yes! That last sentence is the simplest and most effective way I've seen to put this topic into perspective. "You can't have it both ways: expect a man to be emotionally expressive and tease him for his emotions". All boils down to that whole "actions speak louder than words" phrase. The girls here can push back all they want. This is the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 06:25 AM
1

Seriously. It's like all those lion memes and motivationals that were flooding social media during the days or Neil Strauss and Elliott Hulse. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 06:22 AM
11

Problem for me was that a girl I was dating "lost feelings" for me when I was going through an emotional time when a family member was dying. Most of these girls don't give a damn. They say they want this emotion but when faced with it... "IDK I just... don't feel that strong with you anymore." Blah blah blah rinse and repeat.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 06:19 AM
19

Spot on. I wish it wasn't this way, but unfortunately it is. And people wonder why men have such anger issues and bottling of emotions. Because the tarnished perception of us when we do has no good outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 06:17 AM
1

Some of you dudes care way too much about titles and images and not what you actually want to do. Do what you WANT. Not what you think is RP.
/r/askTRP18/02/21 02:24 PM

I think that this is the main reason of relationships - married or not - fail these days. The grass is greener syndrome. People can't stop window shopping for the next lust bug to bite.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 05:12 AM

I assume you are young. If so, this will be a learning experience. No matter how much people can discuss on the internet, there is no better teaching than experience.

/r/askTRP13/02/21 04:24 AM

You can get to know each other without the whole "wine and dine and dinner" date. Getting to know people doesn't have to involve spending money.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/21 01:23 AM
1

💯. I'm not dishing my money and my validation out without some kind of emotional or physical return.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/21 01:07 AM
2

I agree. But here is the thing. A lot of girls post these kind of wants. But what are they providing to the table? Just being female ain't enough. If the guy is doing all the work and the planning and the spending... what is he getting? To know her better? So why can't they both get to know each other without all that hooplah? Seems like a completely one sided deal to me. And the other guys who realize it and aren't playing that game either.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/21 01:05 AM
1

It's simple. Is a girl interested in getting to know ME? Or only what I can provide? That's why men these days aren't for extravagant first (couple) of dates. We aren't walking wallets. What does a girl offer to us too in order to just spend money on dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/21 01:01 AM
1

Anger feels more powerful than sorrow. She's using hate to feel more alpha and "have" a reason to hate you rather than feel the pain of rejection.
/r/askTRP30/01/21 08:52 PM

Everyone has some damage inside. Us guys can sense when a woman is testing the waters with other men and when their attraction is focused somewhere else. Hence easier to just bounce rather than drag it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/21 03:23 AM
1

100 this and your original post. As soon as you show weakness and vulnerability to a woman, she loses that attraction and flame for you. Then you get the "I just don't feel as strong about this as you do" line.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/21 03:20 AM
4

This is what happens when people focus so much on the game and not life itself. You approach people because you are social, not because you "are gaming". Gaming is for the wannabe PUA's who want more followers.

/r/askTRP01/01/21 12:09 AM

This is it! If a girl thinks that a confirmation text is needy, then what other BS do I have to maintain throughout our interactions to "not seem needy"? In this day and age when everyone is extremely busy and everyone is always glancing at our phones, a simple message isn't that big of a deal. Just as long as the message itself isn't written like a wuss.

This was an eye opener for me, thank you for this. I'm in the same boat as OP.

This is a very interesting take that I don't see discussed a lot here. Bottling that shit up can damage your core. I wonder if for some reason you can't help to vent/expose some things that can't be easily hidden (ie - death, grieving) ... A way of expecting the woman to leave and bracing/recovering earlier rather than "hoping she is different"

Damn, this literally burned me up reading this one. As soon as a man has some temporary trouble providing, he has to endure a beating. The more I learn, the more I lose hope that a woman that will always have a man's back can be found.

I was bottled up my whole life. Over the past year I've been slowly opening up more to friends little by little and it is absolutely refreshing for the mental mindset to do so. Unfortunately when it comes to women I have been pursuing, opening up weakens the foundation she is expecting of you and it has NEVER gone favorably. I wish it was different, but overall when it comes to romance, women you are pursuing feel it as weakness and then you are fast tracked to the "friend zone and ghost" path.

Why delete it?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
