Your examples are really like the best case scenario for a divorced man and the worst case scenario for separated LTR situation. Reverse those scenarios and the (married) father is in prison with zero parental rights, while the LTR has custody & never has to see the mother again.

A women is just as capable of becoming pregnant if she is married or not. I would argue the bond between mother and father is necessarily stronger than the bond between husband and wife - so there's no reason why having kids with an LTR wouldn't work.

I wouldn't either. But it isn't hypocritical to turn down those same women if you want to pursue a long-term committed relationship. There have been instances of men signing birth certificates, only to find out days or hours later that the child isn't his. First wave feminism essentially began with the suffragettes, and they couldn't careless about equality. They took the right to vote but didn't pay any price for it, unlike men who only got the right to vote because they also had the obligation of being drafted. And they shamed men who avoided the draft even though they wanted no part of it themselves. Like everything else that followed, the foundation of feminism was hypocrisy and entitlement, not equality.

What I find most disturbing about this whole thing is the total lack of self-awareness women seem to have of their own actions.
