| 1 | It's sad to see OP sharing their thoughts on men crying and being emotionally vulnerable quickly turns into a "Masculinity is Toxic" debate. MR users, how do you feel about these issues? There are way too many examples to put them all in one definition (since the concept can vary between cultures and their normal interactions). It's like defining "things that are red" sure you could name everything... but you could paint something red and it be ones red, just as society could develop find something to be problematic that was acceptable before. I was watching a video about the male and female gazes in film creation and one parallel I can find is that just as the study of the fema… | /r/MensRights | 27/10/20 09:35 PM |
| 2 | Heather Heying, an actual scientist, destroys Judith Butler, famous feminist.Interesting. Sorry, I'm not so familiar with "gendercritical." Do you not believe in the social construct of gender? I've learned about radical feminism and how it doesn't depict the sort of gender equality that modern day feminism tries to embody. That being said modern day feminism does a shitty job at addressing men's issues, especially mental health awareness. As for me, I'd call myself a human rights activist as I do participate in protests and try to keep myself informed on current politic… | /r/MensRights | 08/10/20 12:42 AM |

| 2 | Woman from my home town stabbed a man, but was spared jail for being pregnant.Idk what backwards logic this is but if she is a danger to others, then she is a danger to that baby... Also why didn't that guy work with the police on this? "Lamb went on: "Immediate custody will result in significant harmful impact upon others. While there are arrangements in place for defendants to give birth in custody, nonetheless it would not assist your care of your child if you were in custody." He handed her two years in prison, suspended for two years, with a 20-day Rehabilitation Act… | /r/MensRights | 25/09/20 10:33 PM |
| 4 | I spent about 40 hours doing extreme amounts of research and prep for this 3200 word essay for my year 10 social studies class about the discrimination men face. I got an F. Did I do a shit job or is my teacher being sus?I'm pretty sure you would have needed to be using citations in MLA format or Chicago 17. I know many teachers that would have given a zero just for that. Also, I would try to keep paragraphs to one topic at a time. Try doing an outline to keep your ideas in line. I hate doing them but they help in the long run. Also, I wouldn't keep comparing to women. It takes away from the entire paper that you are trying to point out the struggles that men face. Both men and women have struggles, but your pap… | /r/MensRights | 21/09/20 03:53 AM |
