The problem with that is raw materials. 3D printers remove skill and manufacturing, but will always require an energy and material input. Energy looks like its heading in a fairly sustainable way, so we should be fine there, so hopefully harvesting comets and asteroids leads to a diverse elemental yield, otherwise materials are gonna be our hard bottleneck.
