In what world did opening one sex only spaces, mean also opening female only spaces to men? The people on the left would never open female only spaces to straight or gay men. They would make the wording in the policy, so that it only apply to stuff that would help women and not help men.

In America the left wing party is Democrats and probably Green Party, so we can assume because he is talking about a policy that is being talked about in America, he is talking about America. So the Democrats want to pass a all gendered language to be generic policy. https://www.businessinsider.in/politics/world/news/a-new-proposal-in-the-house-of-representatives-could-eliminate-gendered-language-from-its-rules/articleshow/80075520.cms

They would apply the changed gendered only on things that positive impact women or transgenderism or any other "woke" group.

It’s pretty fair to say that for most of history, patriarchal values have placed women as second rate within most societies. What real patriarchal values would give 1000s of years of safety for women while giving men all the dangerous jobs? And allot of these dangerous jobs was forced for example being a soldier in the army. 0.00001% of all men in history had any power and 0.000001% of women in history had any power. While 0.05% of all men in history had safety guarantee by people in power or th…

NOT ALL MEN/WOMEN HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCES. Why would you want to feel "oppressed"? You not having bad experiences with people either you have better co-workers and friends or you have co-workers and friends that don't care as much about politics and this stuff as other people.

You are taking one speech from 2014 and ignoring what she have done for men in that 5 years. Nothing she doubled down from then and just pushed the normal feminists positions.

Then why call the movement HeForShe. It is literally a movement to get more male feminists. You are taking one speech from 2014 and ignoring what she have done for men in that 5 years. Nothing she doubled down from then and just pushed the normal feminists positions.

Wasn't that speech basically saying Feminism has become synonymous with men hating. So more men should join to fight for womens rights, while ignoring the second part where they should rather help men also. That ia how I remember that speech, but taking one out of context quote make her seem nice.

I don't know the full story. How do we know they wanted kids and that was just a thing that she is saying now to get sympathy? It is her story vs other side of the story. I believe he should have told her the truth, except if both of them decided not to have children and she changed her name...
