I was in a church and ended up getting divorced and also was given primary care of my two children. The pastor actually told me that he didn’t know what to do with me. This is the same pastor whose wife died and who also had two children, and so for all intents and purposes, we were living the same life. But because I was divorced…. took me a long time to put that one behind me.

Thanks. My youngest son is a landscaper, so this backyard is basically his creation. I just get to upkeep it and enjoy all the fruit trees that are there.

A fine Brandy that goes well with cigars.

Oh man, I had a variation of this. During the time I was with my girlfriend at one point I was working in my backyard and I had scratched my back by some branches. When she saw them she asked me about it and I said I didn’t recall exactly, but thought it was because of the branches. She replied that she thought it was from another woman and that it was OK if I had gotten them from her scratching me. It didn’t dawn on me in the moment and it wasn’t until after our relationship was over when I dis…

You have to think that if she’s had this in her past, then if you ever had difficulties in your marriage, it would be very easy for her to go back to the way she was. Unless she did a serious about face and renounced her previous activities, kind of like an AA member or accepting Jesus, I would bet your future would be very much at risk. Plus the fact that she already told you it’s none of your business, would lead me to believe that this was not something she really wanted you to know about nor…

My ex and I were in almost the exact same timeframe as you are in when she did the exact same thing that your wife did and announced that she was pregnant even though we had decided to wait a number of years. That really was the tip of the iceberg in terms of her methods of dealing with me, our marriage, and our children. We divorced after 11 years. Suffice to say it was a gong show on every level. And I also was the same trusting sort, which came to bite me in the butt because it was something …

Liberal leaning, yes. Intellectual conversations, not many.

On an obvious level, he gets it. But he is in the process of getting divorced and likely appreciates this new found interest.

This is right on. I have a buddy who is the CEO of a company, lives in million dollar houses, and has a fleet of the very best cars. On a 1 to 10 attractive level, he is charitably at about a six. During our last visit he was showing me pictures of a Playboy version who cuts his hair and who understands his economic status. She’s doing everything she can to hook up with him, including sending full body nude shots and sending out every signal she can to hook him. I did my best to alert him and ho…

Once someone has given you such graphic details of trauma in their life, a person would never confuse dates, times, or events. Many survivors will actually recount absolute verbatim details. For someone to not be consistent or to give contradictory information is a sure sign they are fabricating. Get out now.

During the course of my 11 year relationship with my ex-wife, she would punch, kick, and throw plates of food at both me and my son. When we were in the divorce phase, I reached out to grab a piece of paper she had in her hand and clipped her finger with one of my fingers. She immediately told me how I had hit her, and then went on to report this to the police. When I had my police interview, she fabricated the story into an absolute extrapolation of how she had to protect her self with her hand…

The flip to this conversation will be if your buddy does get married with her at some point, whether it’s the seven-year inch or not, she will think back on the amazing sex and will try to re-create it by finding another guy. This is not a situation that any man wants to be in. Say goodbye now.

From the first day of my marriage my ex would accuse me of having a relationship with virtually every woman I met. One summer when I was working on my Masters she indicated that there was a fellow at the church who was very interested in her. When I asked her who the fellow was, she wouldn’t tell me because she was afraid that I would do something to him. In retrospect that would’ve been a great deal for me to let him have at her.

Being that you are security, it is your job to look at all customers and clients. The flip side to this, and something to mention to your manager, is that you would not be doing your job if you didn't look at people or only looked at the floor.

And notice she only used one reference in her article. A kid in middle school would be expected to have more references for an article of such weight.

So, look at this: dude gives up his royal living and lifestyle; moves to a foreign country away from family/friends; basically dissociates from his family; gives up his favorite sport of hunting; is inquiring on her behalf to get acting gigs; now the MIL moves in...I'm going to guess that he is turfed out, with royal monies going her way, within 10 years or less.

That might’ve been her angle, but the venue was literally halfway across the country. Not interested, no-siree-bob.

Nothing better in the summer time though. So many lakes to visit, that can keep you busy the whole summer. And with the warm, humid nights, you can stay outside until midnight and just enjoy the evening.

Her comment is both rude and disrespectful. Loving people in a loving relationship give themselves to each other, that is a loving thing and what loving people do. She is not doing that. Then to call you what she did is the rude and disrespectful part. If she thinks this way now, nothing is going to change. Tell her this is not what you want in a relationship and not how you expect to be treated, then tell her you are going your own way. Do not look back, do not take her back, do not engage in a…

Is it possible that this is part of her plan to so repulse that you will want to divorce her, which is what she is angling for? If she’s got someone waiting on the side, this could be part of a well-thought-out plan. Just wondering.

Sorry to hear what you went through, but glad to hear you’ve realized what was going on around you. The fact that someone would have an affair with your business partner and claim you were being a violent person towards them tells you everything you need to know about their character. You have an amazing chance now to start over. First off, cut this person out of your life on every level. Secondly, take your business skills, pour them into your career and make a name for yourself. Thirdly, disco…

To pander is to exploit the weaknesses of others, so even if you thought you wanted to get involved with this, her goal is to exploit you. Drop. Delete. Then rinse.

Just a few tips for you for tomorrow: Know where you are going and make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the interview starts. Don’t wear any heavily scented colognes or aftershaves. Take notice of something in the reception area or on your way up, like good lighting, great plants, something to that effect. It will show them you appreciate their efforts and you are a detail guy. If you meet or encounter anyone in the reception area, make sure you are nothing but positive polite and ple…

My ex tried to do this. Luckily, I had a good reputation in the community and the cops believed my story and not hers, but I know not every guy is that lucky.

Yup. So next best is to leave now before being in that situation. If she hits now in public, she will continue to do so in private. No one deserves this.

Dude, take a listen. If she treats you this way and willingly jeopardizes her own life and her family through her drug use and indiscriminate sexual activity, she is trash and you are well rid of her. Get a lawyer and proceed to distance your family from her as quickly and as far as possible. I should think any lawyer and any judge would be more than willing to give you primary care and custody of the children, given her behaviors. Now, let’s talk about you. Your big job now will be to be a grea…
