"Male loneliness epidemic" is a journalist and gender war meme. Both genders report similar levels of loneliness.

Well you're not wrong. Having self respect is the first step to being respected. But also, even if I'm looking for a serious relationship, I'm gonna move on if the sex is bad. The last 4 or 5 women I've dated I've broken things off after sex because I didn't want to be having sex with them long term.

No I don't think so. Things may have changed in the past 15 years but I feel like men had the advantage in teenage years and early 20s, and again past 30s. Women have the advantage in dating from 22-30. Past 30 women rapidly get more desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 07:35 PM

Seems like the opposite to me. We're entering a phase of mass hysteria as millennial girlbosses age out of their childbearing years "choosing" to be "happy" and single.

It's just punching down, it's not that deep
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 05:16 PM

Big red flag. I cook for myself daily and always enjoy cooking for dates. If a girl doesn't want to cook for me, it's definitely because she doesn't know how. I'm not going to marry a child
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 01:49 PM

There are a few studies showing that women are more likely to have an external locus of control.

I mean you could say a lot of things but I really don't think it's jealousy...

Women's "standards" online and on dating apps are different than in real life.

I didn't read this but I think you're right based on the title. I think men have a tendency towards more self deprecating humor where they're much more likely to be honest about their loneliness and even play into it and exaggerate it (tfw no gf). Whereas women seem a lot more sensitive to perception and are more likely to mask their loneliness behind "I'm happy single, men are garbage etc etc."
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/25 12:10 PM

No thanks, my parents would find the most prude and boring lady

Gender roles are because men are stronger and women bleed from their vaginas. This predates religion.

Sounds like you wasted 16 years on and off with a loser. Not a good look.

I think men and women both inflate their "standards" online as a performative flex. These black pill guys will talk about how they only want a virgin but will become obsessed with the first single mom that gives them attention. Same with women. The 37 year old girlboss that wants children someday would let a homeless man get her pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 12:36 PM

I keep a tight social circle, and have a pessimistic view of social dynamics in general. To be fair, most of my male friendships were built on business too.

They must be ugly or autistic. Being a "good and interesting" person is boring, and doesn't mean anything on its own.

You're right, I see this from both genders. Especially online, people love to roleplay their fantasies of being high value, high earning, having high standards, and rejecting people all the time. It's fake, you're lonely, nobody wants you and your narcissistic visage is obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 05:46 PM

I only maintain friendships with females for business and sex.

These bitter delusional takes are common for women who are struggling to cope with their age and declining sexual market value 🤷‍♂️ I'm also only 35

Bodybuilding is lean muscle by definition. Steroids only cause ED or sex drive issues after very extreme abuse. Most users will have increased sex drives.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 07:34 AM
1

Most women who say they don't like muscular guys have just conditioned themselves because they know those men are out of their league. I can't imagine the average reddit girl has many options. And 9/10 guys on steroids you can't even tell they juice, the girls in this thread just never workout so they don't know.

Why is it wrong that being a virgin gives girls the ick? If a 25 year old girl told me she was a virgin I would also get the ick.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 06:35 AM

What you're referencing is a form of insecure narcissism. A lot of girls hate themselves so much they mask it by pretending to be a confident bad bitch

I don't really think that's what a pickme is though. When i think of a pickme I think of the gamer gurls, metal chicks, the based & redpilled girls. Obviously not every girl into these things is gonna be a pickme but you can tell when the interest is just superficial enough to appeal to men. I think simps have the same vibe. The bearded soyboy who won't shut the fuck up about Mamdani or whatever the FOTM progressive political issue is. The guys who want to appeal to the "everything is political"…

I feel like the women you're talking about don't exist anymore, they were a 2010s phenomenon.

🙄🙄 I'm just acknowledging opinions can change. Personality matters right? Attraction can still form even if I'm not "going after" someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 01:23 PM
1

Yeah I can if the woman actually puts some effort in too. The dating pool tips in men's favor after 30. There are women who have pursued me that made good partners even though I might have initially been less interested. I'm pretty open that I'd prefer something short term right now, but open to long term if things go well. I'm not trying to trick anyone or waste anyone's time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 01:00 PM

Is it inconceivable to you that someone could grow on me after I get to know them? I'm not looking to just boost my body count, but it makes sense to me that I'd move on if I had sex with a girl if the sex was bad or I think there's a lack of sexual compatibility. I'm not gonna buy every car I test drive okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 12:48 PM
1

No, it really isn't. I know when I'm chasing someone and when I do, I put in effort. There are plenty of women I'm willing to give a chance to, but I wouldn't chase. I'm not sure how old you are, but I'm over 30 and I'm seeing a lot of women my age struggle to cope with declining desirability in the dating market. If you're finding guys aren't putting effort in, maybe they're just not into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 12:38 PM
1

I'm not understanding. Putting minimal effort in is not chasing, what I'm saying is not contradictory at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 12:30 PM
1

Who said I think they're awful? I wouldn't approach or swipe on a girl who I think is awful. I will naturally put more effort into someone the more interested I am. But there are a lot of "okay" women I might express mild interest towards to see where things go. I'm not going to go chasing average women though. I'm the prize, not them. 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 12:18 PM
1

I'm just trying to apply your perspective to my personal experiences. I wouldn't describe myself as unsuccessful in the dating scene. But if a girl is average, boring, or uninteresting I will indeed put minimal effort in. There are a lot of attractive and interesting girls out there, I can't chase everyone with maximum effort. I don't mean to be rude, but maybe your experience is because men don't think you're worth the effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:44 AM
2

It seems like you're frustrated that you don't see men putting enough effort into you. Why do you think that is? Maybe they don't see you as a prize? Maybe you don't hold as much value as you think you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:17 AM

If guys are leading with kink talk, it's because they think you'll be receptive. They think you're a slut.

It’s possible that a man just genuinely cares about the plight of others including women. No it isn't. It's all 100% performative 100% of the time.

You're correct that guys on reddit are desperate losers who cling to any female that gives them attention. But we're talking about guys on reddit...

You might be right but I also think that in developed countries sexual assault is taken more seriously nowadays than it was in the 70s when porn wasn't nearly as accessible. The problem with all these studies is that they can only prove correlation.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/25 01:23 PM
6

All studies saying porn is bad, or porn is good, have very poor methodology. Most anti-porn rhetoric thrown around has strong religious or gendered bias. All nofap stuff is pure incel fake news. However, there have been many observations linking broader accessibility to porn with lower rates of sexual assault. This has occurred in the US, Czech Republic, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong.

This is what happens when a guy picks his politics based on what would appeal to transgender women and gets rejected
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/25 12:35 PM

You're right it's mostly sour grape zoomer boys and lesbians/trans jealous that millennial chads are getting all the prime zoomer pussy

I think it's accurate. I think drug use and casual sex are both risky behaviors with instant gratification. So people drawn to one are likely drawn to the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 11:12 AM

Your mistake was listening to women's words rather than their actions. Personal anecdotes are always going to be biased.

I feel like nobody really cares anymore. The world realized that white women in their white collar office jobs are just babies. Gender politics on either side shouldn't be taken seriously.

I mean, I feel it. I always fall for the crazy toxic psychos who will emotionally abuse me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 10:01 AM

Women's standards is all talk, it's a flex for their friends and social media, the facade of self respect. It all goes out the window in group social settings.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 08:02 AM

Honestly I agree. I always had crazy gfs that would get drunk and act flirty with random dudes. My first gf was talking to tons of random guys online from forums. I didn't really care because I never felt threatened. I will always ogle fat girls in public anyways. It's not a big deal. The amount of posts I see about "porn is cheating" or "my boyfriend looks at other girls" is crazy and we shouldn't normalize this type of behavior.

I think it's accurate and I think we should also apply the same critical lens to the so-called 4b movement.

I would be inclined to agree if women actually had it hard, but they don't. They're just babies about it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 12:54 PM

Manlets offer nothing to society. They are insecure, spiteful and weak. It's a net positive to humanity that they do not breed.

I just think it's cringey. I have a few friends in their 30s and 40s that are still trying to bag young girls and boost their body counts and party all the time. It seems like they're trying to catch up to "prove" to everyone else that they get pussy. These guys are usually really "in your face" about how much pussy they get and it exudes insecurity. Personally I feel like I had enough casual sex in my 20s and I have little desire to go around chasing tail, spitting game and building a roster. I…

I don't think there's a gender divide here. Hop on over to r/loveafterporn and observe the women who install spyware apps on their boyfriends phones and have panic attacks when Stacy walks by at the gym.

Less conservative than moderate but if someone's personality revolves around politics (either the ACAB suburbanites or MAGA trailer park mommies) it's gonna be a no from me dawg

It's not "inherently bad" just kind of pathetic
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 02:53 PM

It's crazy when women try to explain things when they can't even explain what goes on in their own heads, lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 11:19 AM

Depends on age. If they're over 30 and trying to be a player they're usually deeply insecure losers trying to "catch up" because they didn't get any pussy when they were younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 10:43 AM

I'm not sure where this idea that women are cleaner comes from. Maybe I'm just dating the wrong girls but the last 3 relationships I've had the girl has been an absolute slob.

I'm sorry but who you just described as "reddit" women are normies. Reddit is a normies website, sorry to burst your bubble.

Gender politics is so boring...... It's not 2015 anymore. White women aren't the center of attention anymore get over it. Think of the Palestinian children
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:57 PM

Anyone who's ever tried to criticize a woman can tell you that. It's even worse in professional spaces where feedback actually matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 08:52 AM
1

No, not really. Men are socially conditioned to be approachers. Women feel humiliated if they're ever forced to initiate. Record numbers of women are single and childless by 40 because they've deluded themselves into thinking they are the choosers, when the reality is they've never been.
