I don’t mind paying, but a little effort to even pretend to want to pay part of the bill, or the tip, is important to me. Just to show that you appreciate it somehow and you want to be equally partnered.

I’d probably show them one of my accounts I have like $100 in to see the reaction. Then ask to inspect her naked and talk to her therapist.

My ex says she’ll give it to one of my daughters as a heirloom. I think that’s fine.

Choosing not to be a parent should be available for both or either partner. If he chooses to keep the child and the mother does not, she should be required to carry the baby and she renounces all rights at birth. If she does and he doesn’t, then he can renounce all rights and she can keep the baby. No child support in either case. If neither want the baby, then abortion should be an option, or make baby available for adoption.

My counselor says I was psychologically abused for 15 years. It’s good to be healing now.

Maybe look into getting some counseling. I like to think of it as a mechanic for the mind. I know my car pretty well, but something it’s best to go to the pro.

Getting support is by far the best decision I ever made. You have more people that love you than you know.

The issue is that you are expecting something from your former spouse. Once I stopped doing that, my heart and mind began to heal. Just some friendly advice. Happy birthday from a internet stranger.

Following, I’m early in a similar process and I don’t expect this to happen to me, but you never know and need to be prepared. iNAL. You should probably pay the mortgage and take her to small claims court to get a judgement from her. Likely, you need to talk to the mortgage company as well.

Maybe get a lawyer and do a discovery of her finances and have her explain to a judge where this money is coming from. If it’s significant, maybe find out if she needs to report it as income.

Found the statistics: Overall, an estimated 91% of the victims of rape and sexual assault were female. Nearly 99% of the of- fenders they described in single-victim incidents were male. link Makes me sad. We should definitely verify and vet the people around our kids.

I call them some similarly stupid nickname, they usually get it, if they don’t, then they aren’t worth your time anyway. “Sport” is my go to for this. “Hey Buddy” “What up, SpOrT”

Lacking shame and embarrassment is more of a result than a method. Shame: feeling you did something wrong. Avoid this by: 1. Analyzing your actions and how they compare to your standards 2. Do not allow others to determine what your standard are. 3. Feel shame until you fix the discrepancy. Either fix your actions or change your standards. 4. Then stop feeling shame.

You seem to be putting value on what other people think of you. You need to stop that. and start worrying about what you think of you. Make sure you lift, this clears your head and makes you able to respond to social situations easier. Read about stoicism.

I Concur... seems like this is very much focused on making someone else excited. I prefer the more stoic approach and change the only person you can, your self. I like that the OP kept returning to TRP principles. It still seems to focus on the happiness of someone else.
