I've been very depressed and romantically lonely recently but I'd never just abandon my belief in love and connection like some of these people. Been there. NEVER settle. You will thank yourself later when you find real love.

Passive-aggressive mean girls who stab other women in the back over perceived slights. This is toxic af and is overrepresented in my gender. They act all nice to your face, and smear you to your peers. Bitches.

romantic obsession from girlfriends that I think a lot of RP men think is impossible or a lie. It’s pretty sad. Maybe they have never experienced it? My boyfriend claims it's rare, so perhaps most men never have a woman be crazy in love with him?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 05:26 PM

In particular I think women are capable of just going absolutely nuts with deep romantic love. I’ve experienced it myself Same, I have unbelievably deep feelings for my SO that defy red pill ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 05:21 PM

My only red pill belief is that attraction is the MOST important aspect of choosing a partner and you should pick based on who you find hottest and then build a friendship on top of that. Any other selection process leads to dead bedrooms.

staying busy in their 20s with education, work and casual flings in between? Following the advice of prominent female business “role models” to hook up with all the bad boys while they’re young and only later settle down with a nice provider type? No...in college and career she has a few LTRs and then marries one of them. What country are you in? And for AFBB, that's not real. Women marry men who are the AF and then later he mellows out and then you see a different version of him.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 01:19 AM

The difference between these scenarios is that men give their best, i.e. their commitment and resources, to their future partner, while modern women give their best, i.e. wild sex during their most fertile years, to temporary flings. This is a small percentage of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 12:39 AM

Not always on a pedestal, sometimes the hot girlfriend gets treated like crap because he is insecure about her leaving him. So he runs her down and tries to make her feel less.

I bet you don't think a slut pretending to be a "good girl" to lock down Mr Right is manipulation though, do you? Why would you assume I like women to be assholes too? It's wrong no matter what your genitals are. Manipulation is wrong, deceit is wrong. Morals, dude. Morals.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/21 05:38 PM

Correct. No need for manipulation, so why list the first option?

/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/21 05:22 PM

My dude is shorter than me, yet is also the hottest man ever. Like Tom Cruise in the 80s. No idea how much he makes since that is none of my business, good lord.

The following: Women were sold the lie of a real manTM. A real man takes care of kids that aren't his. A real man pays for everything and doesn't ask for anything in return. A real man sacrifices his happiness, time, and money for women. A real man tolerates abuse, shitty behavior, and unfairness from women. No. This type of thinking only serves to excaberate a woman's bad character and absolve her of responsibility. "I can be as shitty as I want, because a real man will love me regardless." ...…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/21 03:12 AM

I did not need surgery but it took forever to heal up. I was limping and on crutches for a couple weeks, even interviewed for a job like this. People under age 60 did not open doors for me or offer to help at all. I clumped around on crutches and sometimes used the stupid knee cart until I could sort of walk, and then the swelling lasted for months.

Comparing the two is ridiculous Why? We compare things all the time here, even to the absurd degree. And anyway, would you rather women not get tingles? Just hate sex altogether?

/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 05:14 PM

Stop blaming men for your sexual decisions. No one is forcing you to have sex. No one is forcing you to run your Ns up. That's on YOU, not us. Uh, I'm not. I did not run my Ns up, I am a religious prude.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 05:08 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 04:39 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 04:00 PM

Compared to my new guy, it feels totally different. I totally get you. In previous LTRs I was not submissive at all, why would I be? Those boys were just not worthy. In my current relationship it feels natural to submit and I have no problem with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:27 PM

Correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:23 PM

Honestly I advocate this only for myself. As a societal model I don’t think it’s right. Same. I am getting flack for it here on this thread, but I never said other women should emulate me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:19 PM

OK, I am grateful you are not currently killing us. Now what?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:09 PM

Not gonna lie, submission is a sucker's game. But that's who I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 03:08 PM

I fail to see how submission is not adulting. I pay my own bills.

I gave up all bitterness ten years ago, and that was that. Cried it all out and moved on. Sure life is disappointing, but we are still alive to experience the thrills. I fell in love at age 44, long past when Reddit says a woman is allowed to do so. No regrets, and in fact now I am very glad I never married or I never would have met my love.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 01:25 AM

Have you ever been with a submissive woman? Do you understand the in-person dynamic? I am explaining it to you, because it seems you have not. When I am with him, he takes the lead. We do what he wants, on his schedule. He wanted the vacation or he would not have gone. If he does not want something to happen, I give it up. Which is why we never go to water parks or any other place he hates.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 01:23 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 12:29 AM

I can speak to this, as I am submissive in a healthy LTR. He makes decisions, he drives the car, he leads the relationship. But I chime in and he listens to me because he cares. We just got back from a weekend far away that was my idea, but he decided the rest.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 01:32 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/21 10:06 PM

I have never witnessed AFBB at all, and I am almost 50 years old. Women date and marry the same guy, and he might beta out later on but she is always in love when the wedding happens. If the marriage fizzles, there are a million reasons why this could happen and not because she "branch swings" or cheats.

This is it exactly. Principles only matter if you apply them.

This is nothing to worry about, you are not marrying 0.65% of the US population, you are pairing up with one person. And "white" is just a dumb preference, as is the height requirement. Gals will do fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/21 04:14 PM

Women are far more likely to resist traditionalism Because it puts the woman in a very weak position if things go south.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/21 04:30 AM

They act like the only factor in pairing up should be finding someone of a roughly equal level of hotness. That's not how it works. If you think it is, you're setting yourself up for a divorce. I am agreeing with this.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 05:48 PM

I literally heard this from a guy I was rejecting, he cited a religious leader who claimed that "Any two people can get married and make it work if they just do the right thing" and I thought that was the most desperate hail-mary pass ever.

Could it be simply that women are less horny than men? And the New Relationship Energy creates a rare spike in horniness for women? I fail to see any big gotcha here.

Men in the 1700s were very sexist and uninformed about women, since women were seen as a lesser being, men had souls and women had an animus. So basically we are animals and men are fully human. They were not interested in learning truth about women, that was silly, so they wrote conjecture.

Most gals my age are divorced or married. The divorced ones get married again, or they give up on men altogether. And who are the men they pick? Divorced men. That's who you meet in middle age, and that's normal. Settling for safer options is not a thing, since divorced people are statistically more likely to divorce again, and the money is all going to alimony and child support. So what is going on here? Love. People fall in actual love, with actual attraction. Yes, even at my age.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 04:21 PM

12 yr olds.

Men are not bitter middle aged women with an agenda to keep the young girls in their lane. When we tell people that age gaps are bad because the power imbalance can lead to abuse, it's not just women saying this. Dads vehemently want to protect their daughters from older men too.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:38 AM

She was raised conservative Christian, like me. We are taught from a young age the men are superior and natural leaders and that we should accept their superiority and submit. Then you get your first job and it DESTROYS the myth of god-men. There is a phase (teenagers at first job after all) when you see men as the other team and it's before you develop empathy for them. That comes later.

Age gaps are fine if you are both the same stage of life. I am 49 and my boyfriend is 58, so we have a huge gap...but so what? We are both middle aged so it's not a power imbalance.

I know women like this and in some cases their partners were violent abusers, so they decided to be forever single rather than end up with another wife beater. And no, I am not joking. People who grow up in abusive families often gravitate to abusers who remind them of family. It's not rational or even conscious but they know it will happen again so they abstain.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 06:03 PM

but I find it hard to understand why people believe in 'love', or that it's really important to be intensely attracted in a head-over-heels way to your partner, while also wanting commitment and somehow expecting this to last, or at least that this feeling will be a good basis for a long-term relationship. Because there is no other reason to even be in a relationship.

I have no idea the percentage, but men here are denying that their pals and brothers could be creepy or abusive to women simply because they never witness it. Why would they? Are you standing outside the home when he yells at her and the kids hide in fear? Also, what ransoms do to act creepy is something straight men rarely see. Ask your female relatives and get the story.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:35 PM

::shrug:: Date different women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:33 PM

OK, so she pays for the date. Are you guys gonna be happy now?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:21 PM

Oh come on, the men here do NOT see women as equals. Try again.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:14 PM

Exactly, why does anyone get mad over this?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:09 PM
4

In fact, this happened more than once. Even when I began dating my boyfriend I had a female coworker tell me the SAME THING- to make him drive out here and pick me up, never drive to his house. What century is this.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 08:00 PM
3

The people who advocate for men paying the tab on dates never mention the wage gap, they mention manners and traditional expectations. I remember once I was driving to a guy's house to meet him for a date and my female coworker told me that was the wrong thing, you should make him come here and pic you up. It had nothing to do with wage gap, it was old fashioned prissy rules.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 07:58 PM

The problem, then, is a guy feeling like they owe a single solitary fuck to societal expectations. That is the most damning thing for a man in current year. Seems extreme, no one is putting you up against the wall for going against society's prissy rules. But I think women have a lot of stupid societal rules too, despite modernity, and we just suck it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:59 PM

But the question remains: why does it bother men either way? Who cares?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:54 PM

modernity it is. OK, but he freely paid for the first few dates. Society was not there shaking a finger in his face.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:51 PM

Traditionally men got all the benefits of marriage, nowadays Reddit is full of both sexes complaining that marriage is a raw deal just for them. I give up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:50 PM

Busy or not, he will get a girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:49 PM

OK, real talk: my boyfriend and I pay equally because we love each other and want the other person to be happy. But on the first few dates he paid because he asked me out. It looked very gentlemanly and I liked it. Did he think he was bribing me? Of course not. He wanted me there, I wanted to be there, we liked each other. edit: words
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 05:47 PM

I don't understand, why would this be a lie? Just now I had to explain to my harem of models that they cannot all fit onto my private jet, so someone has to stay home and feed the white tiger cub.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 01:15 AM

There is no other reason why, other than to potentially make his partner jealous on purpose. When women do it, its not for the same reason. They're doing it to see their partner's reaction because that info tells her the state of their relationship. If he's fine, then she's reassured that she picked someone with confidence and value. If he's not fine, then she becomes wary and uncertain. That is the rationale behind the process. Men don't do this or think like this, so trying to compare men and …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 01:11 AM

A lot of "single by choice" women are saying just that though: that they wouldn't MIND a relationship, but ONLY if he makes her life better in almost every measurable life satisfaction metric Why would you do otherwise? If you are happy single, why go out and get the hassle of a relationship that makes your life worse?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/21 10:24 PM

You paint women as being insecure and manipulative and thus, it's a shit test. But when men do the EXACT THING it's just him being aloof or insensitive. See how self-serving this is?

Not once have i gotten with a woman and not gotten some sort of shit test e.g. pointing out how another guy is hot. So is the reverse true? If a girl with a boyfriend has to listen to him describe how hot other women are its a shit test?

Nothing discussed here is aimed at solving the fundamental problem that you named. Oh we just had that thread a few days ago- how to solve the demographic winter and make more women breed.

With the invention of birth control, they no longer have to seek sexual partners for pair bonding. The only imperative they have for sex now is pleasure, which is correlated with (you guessed it) looks. Buncha wild claims right there.

They will not accept accountability for anything and if something goes against their perfect fairytale narrative they’ll resort to attacking you if need be. In public you need to avoid these women as much as possible. Notice who is being irrational here. Hint: it's you.

I never heard positive affirmations growing up, even the fashion magazines were full of What Are You Doing Wrong. All girls ever heard was how they needed to Improve, whether it was fashion or making more friends or having fewer zits. Then as an adult it continues: how to be THINNER and make more money and Ten Things You Need To Stop Doing and all those lists.

How long did you last?

being a submissive female as a personality trait also signals to abusive men, and you are more likely to be approached by and thus end up with men who are going to be abusers. This is spot on.

I taught art to all the kids at a private Christian school, K-12. It was very stressful and low-paying and I never want to do that again.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 04:14 AM

I had to quit classroom teaching because I was just constitutionally not cut out for it. Those kids mogged me. Same, they ate me alive.

Most are snatched up early. Generally men love submissiveness to a degree, but control freaks want the Real Deal and they will lock down a woman ASAP. Not saying you are a control freak, bur those guys are Motivated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:56 AM

It sucks. Ask around- submissive people lose in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:51 AM

Yeah, but what about women who are NOT role playing?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:49 AM

They would rather talk about philosophy with their male friends who have " interesting " hobbies and jerk off to porn or fantasize about sex robots. This.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:48 AM

Also, good luck teaching a classroom full of kids if you are submissive.

I am a submissive person by nature and it is a complete Sucker's Game in life. I am intimidated by jobs and thus I under-achieve. I have little confidence and no grit. I never stand up to my boss. I get nearly killed in traffic so I stopped driving the freeways. Lack of masculine traits such as confidence and drive and aggression have held me back in life. But on the plus side I cry easily /s
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:41 AM

Wrong. Not everything is about pussy and scoring, young lad. People care about their loved ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:29 AM

So when he commits suicide or they just never find his body we are supposed to tell his mom "Oh Well." If he takes a gun to work and shoots people we are supposed to shrug. Mental illness affects more than just the person with the illness.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:27 AM

I know people of bother genders who are mentally ill, and a few of them are on disability for it. More understanding it needed because bosses will fire these people and then the next boss will fire them too. Same with the rest of their lives- a mess if they do not get help. And what we need to discuss is not just pity and "there there now" words but the reality of mentally ill people and the dangers of ignoring.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:23 AM

Eh, I think awareness helps de-stigmatize. If someone is suffering PTSD it's better if everyone cuts them some slack instead of yelling at them to snap out of it. If someone has schizophrenia it's better to medicate the hell out of them rather than send them to a priest.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:17 AM

You are confusing me with someone else. There was no AFBB because there was no need. I am attracted to a guy regardless of medication, and I will still be attracted to him after I get on the pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:15 AM

I have been on and off the pill for years. There was no difference. I still fell in love with "alpha" men. Edit

t’ll play out in your day to day interactions as well Like at work or school? At the bus station?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:02 AM

Surprisingly this here is the best comment. Women tend toward neuroticism more than men, and more men are alcoholics. Upbringing or genetics, either way it usually manifests in teens or early twenties and has nothing to do with "dating" or whatever. Mental health is something we need to discuss MORE.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 01:59 AM

Yeah, I cannot picture this either. A fake "alpha" just looks like a try hard. She would not be scared.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 01:31 AM

any guy who treats her badly will get beaten up. Only if it happens in front of other people. Women who are abused in private just suffer in silence. Hyperfeminine women will blame themselves and try to "be better" when abused.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 06:26 PM

Can confirm. But that hyperfeminity comes with a price, and the men drawn to it are often shitty human beings.

My buddy actually knows Roosh and hung out with him in RL and said Roosh is sincere in his conversion, and this was surprising to me. I also thought he was just a grifter who said whatever made him money, and that most of his sex stories were made up. Now that he is a Christian and seems to have embraced Jesus, I am horrified at his continued hatred of Jews and other groups of people. As to the question of him being forgiven by society, dream on. men should have the ability to talk about and be open about their n-count preference Where? At Starbucks? At work? At the grocery store?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 09:35 PM

The person being shamed doesn't have control over being shamed UH YES YOU DO. Stop talking about wanting a "low n count woman" and people will have no idea. Just live your life and get that college freshman girlfriend, no one cares.

Yes a reality where mens preference for young slim virgins is common knowledge. And? Is anyone shocked here? Plenty of those girls in church youth groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 09:23 PM

PPD posters live in some alternate reality. So much that I wonder if they are making things up... Most women are low n count. You should be fine, and never need to bring it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 09:17 PM

Great, but eventually you need to discuss this with a woman and please do not use stupid terminology like "N count" or "cock carousel" because chances are she is a normal gal.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 09:08 PM

Do you go to church? Or a mosque? Anywhere that religious prudes congregate? I sure do, and they are full of people who are sympathetic to virginity and chastity. They are super happy about young people NOT having sex. They also expect virgin brides and grooms. There, problem solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:56 PM

Where did I say any of that? People should not settle for someone they do not love. It's simple, and it's fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:50 PM

But you do see how weird this sort of talk is among the normies? No one talks this way in RL, and if you did people would think you are part of a niche fandom.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:49 PM

What does any of this have to do with my comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:47 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 07:14 PM

You really think people are going to understand "Low N Count Women" in the general populous? They will just say "virgin" and be done with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 07:08 PM

Unless you are religious and hang out with other religious folks, no one is going to be sympathetic to your virgin fetish.

I know one promiscuous woman and the rest are not. Common denominator among the prudes? Religious affiliation. But even among the secular women they just weren't all that crazy about sex.

I'm gonna have to agree with Book of Seil here, people have expanded the definition of "sex" to be anything and everything. I listen to some religious YouTubers and they think French kissing is the same as fornication. Not joking.

He's rude to his fiancee and makes stupid comments when she is pregnant and acts like he did nothing wrong. When she explains his error he does not seem ashamed. This kind of thing happens a lot on the show, and is not reflective of actual autism. He's just a jerk.

Single men in their 40’s are usually divorced with kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 10:40 PM

No, trust me. I am this demographic and I see these 40+ women and that is not the reason they are single. Many are divorced or closeted lesbians or just low self esteem, but "too late to have kids" will never stop a 40 year old woman who wants kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 10:35 PM

I knew single women (usually divorced) in their forties who said they were done with men because "all the good ones are taken" and they were just tired of the whole thing. I never felt that way and I am happily coupled up with a guy I met at age 44, but many women seem worn out from crappy relationships. My best friend was "done with men" after her divorce but she eventually came around and is married again. It depends on the woman. But men are lonelier and have fewer friends so they want someon…

As an analogy it is rather cute as the image of penis and vagina sorta looks like a key and a lock. But beyond that it makes no sense- a lock laying on the ground has no value, it has to be locking something else which DOES have value. Like a storage container. And a key that has NOT been ground down to fit a certain lock which happens to guard something of high value is also useless. It's just a key that ends up in the trash. Also what value is a lock that keeps out ALL keys and lets no one in …

When you are in junior high or high school it's pretty obvious that the popularity contest is not about being liked but about dominance. The popular girls rule over the less popular ones, and some of them are mean about it and put the lower ranking girls down. Then the cool kids get invited to the parties and outings and the lesser kids are left out. Not everything is about sex or reproduction.

Men are less likely to seek treatment for mental illness and more likely to hit the bottle. Incidentally, I know two men with bipolar disorder who take psychotropic pills...and again, they did not get this disorder from dating or romance. Female apes willingly having sex with multiple males doesn't mean that a male can't coerce her. And? What is your thesis? You said that females are not the choosers, and only male primates (except very modern humans) select sexual partners. You made that big claim and you failed to back it up AT ALL. Just accept defeat.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 08:43 PM

Did you even read the article? Seriously? The males WERE NOT KILLING THE FEMALES. They were slapping and pulling hair. No deaths. And the article specifically mentioned that the females were mating with ALL the males anyway. And guess what? NO slaughter except of the occasional infant, as I already mentioned. Dude, read a little.

It's not pretty but it is reality Reality? Where is your information coming from? Female humans had male family members protect them. If her whole family was killed, sure. But have you never watched a nature documentary on apes? Free love reigns. Consensual sex rules. Peace and harmony and social skills help the alpha male secure his spot at the top, not violence alone. And grooming rituals play a big part. When you see chimps killing other chimps that is rival troops attacking for territory, or…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 07:28 PM

If we are talking chimps, they are not monogamous. It's a sexual free for all, especially with bonobos, and no one cares who the alpha is. Everyone selects everyone else, and yes the females get to choose. The only taboo is mother-son incest, so that leaves a lot. It's gross. As for other primates, orangutans are solitary creatures that have no hierarchy, and lemurs live in a matriarchy, and gorillas have a lead silverback male, and you get the picture. No one can claim that humans follow any of…

I suffer from several health problems that I would like to go back in time and live without. They began when I was 24. So, to answer your question I will remain 23 forever. And notice how this has nothing to do with sex appeal.

Yes and yes. I dated an electrical engineer who was very controlling and turned abusive before I dumped him. He wanted to change EVERYTHING about how I acted and he criticized my appearance regularly. Why was he even with me? Deeply insecure, he constantly accused me of cheating on him (I did not) even though he was the one who cheated. And no, he was not hot. This is one thing red pill gets wrong- nerdy unattractive men are not less cruel or less abusive than Chads. Simply being a geek does not…

They are usually very young and have no idea what middle aged people are like unless it's their mom. I know lots of people my age and their experiences vary, some look amazing and much younger than their actual age. PPD gets depressing because they focus on failure.

But you don't really know yet, do you? You suspect, but you won't really know for sure until you're in your 40s, right? I can answer this, as I am 49 now. No I am not invisible and the men are still men and although the harassment has subsided I still get stalkers. There is no Wall. I miss certain aspects of youth such as perfect health and being so so thin, but I never had to give up on being attractive. My boyfriend is the best and sexiest guy I have ever gotten, and we are still crazy in love…

I went from invisible nerd girl to hot thang when I was 16 and the change in how people treated me was HUGE. Both guys and girls treated me with more respect and compliments. People wanted to be my friend, guys asked me out, it was super easy to get jobs. I was the same nerd inside but no one cared because of how I looked. This led to a lot of confusion and disappointment when I dated someone who was supposed to love me for myself but he kept trying to change every aspect of my personality. Afte…

The idea that women might have to have sex with men they do not fully desire is treated as a much worse sacrifice than men having to run into a hail of bullets Yes, because traditionally women sacrificed their bodies and sometimes their lives in reproduction. Why bother if you are not even in love? Just some spouse that was assigned to you? Yuck. No one would think that was worth it, not even dudes.

is to consider what qualities you can offer a man in a relationship. Can you offer the qualities that men value? While on its face this is good advice, you can see how this leads to fakery and manipulation. If a woman want a certain man, she can learn what he values and pretend to be exactly that. Trad? Suddenly she bakes bread. Career? Suddenly she is all about the TPS report. Curvy? She buys a padded bra. See what I mean?

There are paraplegics who never have sex, ever. One lives nearby and I see him in his electric wheelchair all over the neighborhood...and he has companionship. If a man is truly beta he will never be anything but a beta, right? I know hundreds like this and there is no changing them, so why make them feel bad for not being alphas? And believe me, most of them are married to women who wanted EXACTLY what they got- a man they can dominate. Some people like this scenario and these men speak worshipfully of their "cool" wives whom they admire for being so bad-ass. This is not something all men want, trust me, as I am a submissive woman I can only match wit…

I don't "deserve" a relationship with that person even if I want one and even if I think I'm a catch. That's for them to decide, not me. This sums it up perfectly. People have assortive mating for a reason.

I am a very feminine woman myself and I can barely compete in a vicious job market, so it would have gone better for me to be more masculine and driven. It's the world, man, what did we expect? That soft-hearted timid people would win?

I can understand not wanting to date someone obese but beyond that I also think it's shallow to have a body type preference. All physical attraction is going to be shallow. So? Like whatever you like.

questioning of traditional masculinity? Is it really about a way of lifting the social responsibility of having a low n count from women? I grew up with trad masculinity all around me and I can see the downsides and the benefits and it has nothing to do with N count. Trad male roles and expectations can hurt the men who never live up and never succeed as macho men who provide. Do you want to live in a world where men are shamed for not knowing how to repair a car engine? Or build a back deck? Or…

I absolutely have a type, and it's not the popular aesthetic at all. The top actors of Hollywood do not turn me on, no matter how hot everyone else thinks them. I like dark ethnic men with sharp features and body hair. I do not like blonds or redheads or button noses. If you presented me with a blond male model with a button nose, I would say "let's be friends" and mean it.

Internet friends are usually just surface-level cyber-relationships. It was easier before the pandemic, but I would meet up with cyber friends and they became the most important people in my life if they lived nearby. (I even moved across the country for a guy I met online, but this is about platonic pals. Friends are still close and try to get together- but this is not about Me.). Try to find people who get You and like You. Never, ever act superior. I have a lot more I could say on this subjec…

This needs to be top of the heap, you have listed the actual reasons why families today are failing. It's not women being fussy, it's the modern world making child-rearing harder and thus straining the marriage.

There are more single women after age 65 because their husbands died. That means fewer single men, and more single women. Divorce would create the same number of singles on both sides. Death is what creates the disparity in the older years.

In every single LTR I have ever had, I was the "pretty one" by a long mile. Until the current SO who is the love of my life, and we are evenly matched. Most of the time women simply cannot find blindingly attractive men to date and go for a guy who makes her laugh.

You really need to get over this idea of the Cock Carousel being a universal female experience. Most women are not promiscuous. And the notion that "arousing sex" is only had during this bacchanal, is odd. And forced to "go right to betas" also is not reality, most women marry the men they like.

Everyone is going to answer they want the real hero and not the fraud. I am not sure why you would tell us "be honest, no bullshit" as if we would lie about such a thing. Do you really expect women to want a narcissist or a fake?

Women are typically outraged when they see their friends with handsome, high quality guys. Huh? Why would they be? You know we gals have different types, right? We are generally not attracted to the same men.
