Yes! And they are not even counted as teachers. Basically like the education industry equivalent of PSW/PSAs in healthcare. Barely above minimum wage and does most of the hard work. In expensive cities in Canada filled with million-dollar shacks for housing, it's not a realistic livable salary.

They are asking a bit much on a 50k CAD salary offer post-taxes maybe just enough to rent a 1 bedroom where she lives in BC. We rented out one of our Toronto downtown 1 bed for $3k per month earlier this year. Pre-taxes that's got to be around 50k. Funny bit is we gotta pay taxes on the rental income too, so more taxes from the government.

Very high capacity... as someone with 70-80% lung capacity of a normal person my age, due to a near-drowning when I was little, I would never be able to shout that loud, and I'm still able to wear a mask for hours despite some breathing difficulties.
