First date should not be solely focused on drinking because not everyone drinks so “always” is incorrect. If cocktails are available at wherever you end up then fine, but just assuming everyone drinks is not it. Food should also be involved as drinks usually cost more than food, but I guess that depends on a man’s intentions.
