that's bullshit. the kids don't need to be privy to their parents business. especially when one parent is obviously using it as a weapon against the other parent. it's immature and serves only to lay a foundation for parental alienation.

well, your ex is a POS for sharing "dirty laundry" with the children. what happens in your marriage is none of their business. Why do you need a relationship with her "for the kids"? aren't they grown? talk to them, you don't need your ex for that. and quit wallowing in guilt and recrimination, it will not make anything better.

I don't recommend mediation for people who can't stick up for themselves. you're going to end up negotiating a terrible deal. Managing her emotions is something that shouldn't concern you any more. Get a lawyer - pay someone to stick up for yourself if you cannot summon the strength. Get angry bro. Start agitating for spousal support/alimony. Perhaps you can access some therapy while you're at it.

He told you what was up when he said that he could be there for her. How many of your friends' wives do you let cry on your shoulder? CR was waving the red flag RIGHT IN YOUR FACE.

being one week closer to freedom. Unlike many of the posters here, I was the one who initiated the divorce. I think divorce is A M A Z I N G.

Any woman that forces you to choose between her and YOUR children is a toxic cunt that you're better off without.

Haven't even bothered with it. I was basically single for the last 5 years of my 'marriage' and now for this year of separation. Not having to manage some woman's feelings is amazing. Having some peace and quiet is amazing. Doing what you want when you want? Amazing. Why are you so eager to surrender your peace, freedom and finances to some woman, again?

Brother, I stayed in a dead marriage for 7 years before I demanded a divorce. It was a terrible mistake (waiting...not divorcing). You think things are bad now? Wait till she hits perimenopause/menopause in a few years. It will triple your Hell. Get out ASAP.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
