Even if you separate finances - my understanding is that her debt is your debt when married (and vice versa). Do you have a different impression?

Bro. You can’t allow that. Put a timeline on that. Discuss it verbally and introduce a marriage counselor to work it out. End of the day - no intimacy means no marriage. Turn it around. She wants safety, security, and connection. What happens if you withdraw that and tell her “you know we aren’t there right now” and then you make her jump through a million hoops to “get it back” while you kick back in an easy chair and watch with a cold drink. Everyone in society would say you are the a&&h&/(. S…

Split everything down the middle. You have the right of it. Don’t listen to her and for heaven sakes don’t worry about her feelings on the matter. Determine what you think is right ethically and don’t let her sway you. She has an advantage in that you still want it to work and she doesn’t. Some women will use that to manipulate you. Dangle the carrot. Don’t fall for it. Go for what’s fair and don’t back off. Stay aloof and keep it professional. She may not. E your enemy but she is very much not …

Conjugal visits should be a requirement for alimony. If the ex gets to continue enjoying some of what the husband was providing during the marriage then the opposite feels appropriate.

Agreed. I was a shell of my former self for at least 3 months. I don't know when it happened. I would have taken her back at almost any point if she would have just walked back in the door and said that's what she wanted. Finally realized that there was nothing I could do and that emailing or texting every now and then to try to instigate something was only going to drive her further away. Forced myself to stop and give the appearance I had moved on even though nothing could have been further fr…

Ex wife did all these same things. Out of nowhere got the whole - this isn’t working. She would listen to nothing from me and wanted no counseling. It was like a band aid coming off. At the time it felt heartless and cruel (because it was). Looking back a decade later - it was a mercy. I was shoved out into the cold world again with no chance of going back. No mixed signals made it cleaner to move forward. She tried coming back about 6 months later but I just couldn’t do it. Everything you’re ta…

It’s a tactic. They are bleeding you. When you run out of money - they win. What does your attorney say? If they don’t feel it will cost you in the eyes of the judge, then you might need to recognize that they are playing hardball with your kids comfort or safety to win. That’s super F’d up but you’ll have to choose whether to respond in kind or take a different road while living with the potential consequences. My guess is - if you stop paying the bill, they yell/threaten/whatever but do nothin…

Yup. This is done. Sorry man. She’s only there until she sets up an exit which will include a temporary relationship with some other dude to give her all sorts of complements and affirm how wonderful she is as she walks out the door. You’ll be be sitting in the old house with your head spinning praying for her to come to her senses while she’s getting stuffed somewhere else. Accept it. Take control. Get an attorney and file. The only choice you get in this is how to meet the blow that fate is se…

Put cameras everywhere in your home. Pay the extra amount to have all recordings including audio stored offsite. Bitch acts up. Call the police immediately. Show them the video. Problem solved

Happened to me for a couple months post divorce. My head still wasn’t on straight post divorce and I had started taking propecia. Check into any new prescriptions then visit your GP. He gave a few boner pills to restore some confidence, I tossed my propecia pills in the trash. Life got better after

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
