2	The Resourcefulness of Men It's good to have both. The best plan is to diversify. Have wind and solar for renewable, and keep some gas around for the generator. When the power goes out then you don't have to touch your valuable and now impossible to get gasoline since every gas station will be out of gas. So you can rely on the stored power at first. When you run out you can turn on the gas generator for a bit, but with the wind and solar kicking you're garunteed to to have power stored back up within a few hours.
