I know this isn't your question but I really want to point out that "ascending" isn't necessarily a herculean task depending on what you're like. I'm 5' 10" which isn't exactly super tall. Social skills are definitely important you're not wrong, but if you are attractive you get WAY more leeway in how you socialize. Things that are considered creepy or awkward for someone ugly is often considered cute or endearing for someone attractive. Atleast based on my personal experience as someone who went from not very attractive to someone pretty good looking
