Wash your hands and apply moisturiser to them while they're still damp, gently work the moisturiser into the cuticle with your thumb using small circular motions while pushing the cuticle back a bit, allow to dry then go. I also keep my nails filed into an almond shape so I don't break off the "corners" as it were. Have you tried a clear coat to stop flaking?

My views aren't entirely the opposite, just because I believe in embracing feminity does not mean I believe women should be denied the vote or not allowed to work. I just point out that today the word feminism is often used as a disguise for misandry and I don't want to be associated with it. I support equality, always have and always will. I just feel equality means treating everyone equally based on their strengths and weaknesses not on their gender.

I think it's a difficult question, certainly if she gets pass-out drunk every weekend she has some responsibility but what about someone who's never drunk before and doesn't know their limit? Or someone who gets ditched by their friends? There used to be a thing where men would buy a girl a drink but slip a shot of vodka into it or a double shot if it was something like a vodka and coke. There's no black and white answer so you can't really make a law or rule about it.

They're both right, just different answers to the same question for different people.

Off to the shops tomorrow so may give it a look, not a fan of "one use" things though, worries about the environment and stuff etc.

I am definitely going to try the apron and caddy thing, might make my life easier as well as prettier. Thanks for the advice!

I don't actually have a type aside from long haired but maybe the fact I'm fairly bent means this doesn't apply to me?

I tend to find gloves make my hands clumsy but try to wear them when possible and sensible. Still haven't found a "Good" pair (i.e. a pair that fits nicely) Gel nails apparently wreck your natural nails and cost a fair bit of money but I may look at getting them done sometime as a treat. I need his help to watch our dog (She can't be left for more than a five minutes) while doing the chores. I may try asking him to the walk the dog while I do them though. Thanks for your advice, I'll try some of…

My original post was written badly, I don't believe I am the cure or cause merely that I can trust my judgement on when he feels happy enough in himself. His night terrors are a product of his depression so how he feels plays a big part in wether or not it is wise for us to sleep together.

We will continue to sleep in separate beds but it's nice to have the option. Certainly teeth out is not a trivial thing but we prefer to joke about it rather than have him spend his day going "Oh my god, I hurt you I'm so sorry" etc. As his night terrors are a product of his depression we are working on that. My original post was poorly worded and I have now edited it somewhat, sorry for the bad writing.

I do actually maintain a wall of pillows between his legs and mine to protect from the occasional kick.

Normally we do just cuddle and we will be maintaining separate beds. However I am trying to trust him on his moods and he wouldn't have invited me to stay if he wasn't feeling 100% content and confident. Normally I would have said no no matter what however this time I trusted his judgement. I apologise for the low quality of the original post however.

He is not overly violent in his episodes the times I mentioned where the worst of the bunch. I don't feel I'm the cause or the cure. I feel however that he can make a judgement on how he is feeling and if he is stressed or relaxed enough to risk it. I hope that makes sense, the original post was badly phrased and I have updated it with an edit.

I think you need to work on trusting your husband more, when he says don't worry try to take that to heart and set your worry aside. Perhaps you are just projecting your relationship with your mother onto his relationship with his? I'm fairly new here so my advice isn't stellar but good luck all the same!

Why not try volunteer work? Perhaps something for your church? It would keep you busy and it adds to your cv and means you don't have a blank space.

Try getting a sunlamp? I have SAD and it really helps me, won't work immediately but give it a month or so. The other thing I do is paint my nails and use some expensive jasmine hand moisturiser, I have arthritis is my hands so making them pretty helps cheer me up about them. So work out which bit you dislike or is bringing you down and do something to that part, if it's your body try sexy lingerie and a nice bath bomb.

My worst was "Don't be afraid to be one of the boys and roughhouse with your crush" I was about 7-8 when I read it (it was in a magazine called something like"Girl Talk" aimed at preteen to teen girls) and showed it to my mum confused and said "If they want to kiss boys aren't they gay?" But I hate to think how many young girls took that advice.

This feels like it's more of a Dom/sub issue than just a general relationship one so perhaps this is not the best place to ask. I'd say the most important thing would be to listen to what he has to say and ask why he felt the way he did so you can learn. Don't go on the attack immediately stating that he made you feel bad as the issue seems to be about his feeling of indifference and what you did to cause it rather than your feeling of hurt at his indifference. You also mentioned he hurt his bac…
