| 8 | Let’s get to the point - did she leave us because of money, sex or boredomI’m a relationship coach. Lot of times woman go through hormonal changes that make them feel different than they used to. It’s a major shift for them that takes the guy by surprise and her too. From her perspective she really feels how she does but she isn’t considering it’s a change in her hormones. And neither is the guy - so because they don’t really understand this dynamic shifting they can’t hold one another’s hands to get through it. That’s my take from my experience. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/03/26 05:13 PM |

| 2 | Sex during separation/divorceYou guys have gotten into a cycle of fighting a lot because neither of you are listening to one another openly and not allowing feelings to be the response. If youre still intimate obviously there's still love there. I would work on the marriage. 20 years is a long time and woman go through perimenopause that really affects us and can be in perimenopause 8-10 years before menopause. If you were married in your 20s and are in your 40s now, I would ask if youre fighting all the time because she is… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/08/25 02:56 AM |
| -7 | Are we on a timeout or headed to divorceI disagree. I think she was frustrated and said that in desperation. Obviously there is more to this story Im sure, and what they've been going through the last few months/years. But I think it's more of she was surprised the next day he left. Sometimes woman say things when we are emotional we dont really mean. Sometimes we are hormonal and mean them in the moment. Could it be a control thing? Possibly, but contrary to what guys may think, woman aren't trying to control guys constantly. They ju… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/25 01:47 AM |

What do you say to your wife who says “why aren’t you trying everything”.You will find it, the right girl is out there waiting for her guy, wondering if she'll ever find you. In regards to your question, I'm a relationship coach. Offering advice on reddit is a great way to really connect with people one on one and if they read my comments they may then check out my profile and watch my YouTube videos and they could find helpful info which could result in them saving their relationships. | 3 | On verge of divorce .. What do you say to your wife who says “why aren’t you trying everything”.Yeah. I think we get caught in the rust of being together and it's easy to start taking each other for granted. Gotta get back into the mentality of treating each other like royalty. My hubs and I do this and since we started this we've been both really happy. But I had to give too and trust me it was hard to give what he needed cause it wasnt natural for me. But I tweaked myself to do it and man it was worth it. Hes the best to me now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/02/25 01:33 AM |

| 1 | On verge of divorce .. What do you say to your wife who says “why aren’t you trying everything”.Try to be optimistic. I find couples struggle because they both show love differently than how their partner receives love, and so thats why we both end up feeling lacking in our relationship. If you can accept love from each other in the ways they do show it, understand that, and work on filling their love tank in how they receive love, you can really move forward together. It goes much deeper than love languages. And the key is to focus on the NOW and not continuously harp on the past. Im a re… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/02/25 01:24 AM |

| 2 | On verge of divorce .. What do you say to your wife who says “why aren’t you trying everything”.Yeah thats not cool. Thats a lot of experiences with counseling. I wish more couples found relationship coaching first. BOTH people are responsible for working on the relationship and fulfilling each others needs. And, as a woman, I can say woman have a hard time accepting responsibility. Society is changing woman's views and they think they need to be treated like a Princess but won't treat their guy like the King. Cant be treated like a Princess if youre not willing to treat him how he deserve… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/02/25 12:55 AM |

| 1 | Ex wife divorced me. I feel so lost with no purpose in life.I'm time too actually for how I receive Love. (thats actually the second to last way I show love believe it or not). And in my case, I dont cease to function, but when I was younger I was getting very hurt at my friends and family if I perceived they may have had the ability to spend time with me and chose not to. I hid my hurt through anger and didnt understand. Now that Im older I dont allow myself get hurt if they dont want to spend time with me because Ive learned how they all show love and … | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/02/25 10:17 PM |

| 1 | Ex wife divorced me. I feel so lost with no purpose in life. And thats why people who ARE words of affirmation or what I prefer to call it words of encouragement and praise, are getting this new label of anxious attachment and avoidant. The reason youre not buying it anymore is because you aren't understanding how deep it goes. Ive created my own version of Love Languages, Love Lingo (how we receive love) and Love Jargon (how we show love) because I was like you. Not really buying it, because Love Language presumes all of us show love and receive love in … | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/02/25 05:02 PM |
| -1 | Ex wife divorced me. I feel so lost with no purpose in life.Well Im going to be blunt. People with kids, dont think like people who dont have kids do. So for example, before you had the child with her, youre thinking you should get extra brownie points for stepping in and taking care of another mans kids, especially 3 of them, it's a lot! This is a natural thought since you didnt have kids. However, she still has a Love Tank that needs to be filled separately that has nothing to do with those kids. Dont get me wrong, Im sure she was thankful you were wil… | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/02/25 12:30 AM |
| 1 | Walk away wife. I cant let the resentment goIm sorry but I respectively disagree with that point of view. She said she feels she missed out, well what did she miss out on? Maybe it's not other guys she feels she missed out with, its experiences WITH YOU. She wanted to go and have an experience and you point blank said NO, you dont want to spend the money. Youre basically telling her that she isnt WORTH spending the money on to go somewhere. And, THATS where she is lacking and where she is feeling shes missing out. And you say no without e… | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/02/25 12:21 AM |

| 1 | I Feel TrappedWell that’s true and it’s good you acknowledge that. But I gotta say, home isn’t what it used to be. If you moved back, things wouldn’t be how they were when you left. You think they will be because that’s how you remember it. But people grow up, move on, start families and things change. What’s up with your marriage? You haven’t bad mouthed your wife at all which is good. Are you happy with her in general? If you and her were in this magical hometown of yours would you be happy she was with you… | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/02/25 05:07 AM |
| 2 | AITA for buying my ex wife flowers on V-day, after the divorce?Send the flowers. If anything it shows your kids the mom of their child deserves to be appreciated if shes cool. If shes not a cool girl, then no, but if you guys are amicable I think its nice. If she says anything like why did you do this, tell her because shes the mother of your children and she deserves flowers on Vday for everything she does for your kids.
