Why keep the gun in the cupboard when on your nightstand is just fine? The difference between everyone is armed and no one is armed is that if one person comes in, armed, with an intent to kill, one can defend themselves while the other gets shot. Second, that can be said for traffic accidents too, so bad argument. Also, yes, but he didn't get killed.

I'm talking about voting, property, and working. Thanks to that, there is nothing, again, nothing that one has that the other doesn't, supposedly. Now women have more, especially in courts, but most things are in some equal footing.

There's low gun violence in Texas, the trigger happy state, simply because we're trigger happy. You don't mug someone I f there's a high likelihood they're armed, you don't break and enter if there's a high chance the people inside have better guns. When everyone is armed, there's a less chance of gun crime.

I had something like this happen to me in swimming. Due to scheduling, I couldn't practice with my team(high school) so the coaches told me to practice with the middle schoolers, and this works for two years. Come year 3(me at age 15, them at like 12 prob), I was having some trouble with this group of girls who the coaches kept putting me with, lane wise. My problem was that they either skipped workouts, cut in the position, or did the thing wrong, and somehow it was my fault, but fine, whatever…

I've only seen advocacy against women being in the draft, but against it as a whole. I'm saying it's hypocrisy because the argument of draft abolition is only used when equality is brought up, but is never used as an actual argument overall. Damn, I don't think I've ever seen mental gymnastics more elaborate than every Olympics gymnastics event ever combined. Every word u/disayle32 said was twisted to support the message among other things. Ho boy. I don't see the draft trying to be abolished, and the argument "no one should be drafted" is only brought out when anyone brings it up as an equality argument, hence the hypocrisy. Countries with mandatory service for all, not just men, are few and far between. The military is necessary, and by extension, the draft. Just look at Ukraine, if anyone needs an ungendered draft, it's them, yet the men are fighting, and the women are refugees elsewhere.

Electric cars are a scam. The amount of petroleum used to make those cars and their batteries is wild. Plus, every charging station I've seen is powered by a diesel generator. The irony is strong there, and it's kind of funny to watch. Plus, they're less efficient. Also, most companies just throw most of your recycling into landfills.

Same. As a kid(pre 10), I thought that "Hey, equal rights sound good." I have since found out that things like the wage gap are false and that everything they say is either insane or the opposite of equal.
