I see what you mean and I agree. Normal people get off talking about stuff they do, even if it is boring. So if you’re both talking about stuff you’re doing, be the impressive one while making the other person happy that they’re getting to talk about stuff they do.

I’ll answer your questions, but I’m sorry that I am not able to recognize the deeper meaning behind the questions. I guess I would say my beliefs speak more about the world than about me. I don’t care about myself. I don’t really have an identity outside of being someone who is trying to fix the world. I’m not alienated by my peers. It’s just nothing deeper than recognizing that we are peers. I do spend my days hearing the stories of others, but I have no stories of my own. I’m good at listening…

Your comment speaks to me on a very spiritual level. Nonetheless, I do think that there is some kind of connection that other people can have with one another that makes it all worthwhile. I don’t have that myself, but it’s there for most (I think) people.

I feel you. Even being funny has been like a competition for me. Like there’s pressure for me to crack a joke in certain scenarios or I consider it a personal loss. Though I have improved my overall attitude toward competitiveness by doing more things I’m bad at but can enjoy. For example I’m not good at playing golf, so I was able to relax my competitive nature a bit by playing it more often.

I think the most difficult one on this list is learning to have fun. I’ve been told by many people that I’m too serious and need to learn to have fun, but I don’t really know how to suddenly have fun doing the same things I’ve become accustomed to not having fun doing. But yeah, good list.

So what if you devote 100s of hours to games? If it’s the best form of entertainment you have/can afford, so what? It’s not like you can lift or work 24/7. I guess you should be spending all your free time on TRP instead, reading tired reposts.

Couldn’t any woman just chase a guy who makes double what her man makes? At least I’ll take half of hers, in this case.

To be honest there's something up with gluten intolerance being as high as it is, but you don't have to take probiotics to build healthy gut bacteria.

What I have noticed is that they're really nice to you if you're successful. Lol. Let's use an example: You're a manager at work and you're kind of a jerk. None of your employees like you, but they respect you because you're technically very successful at your job even though people don't really like you. Guys might find out that you're a jerk and not want to hang around you, but women aren't really turned off by that kind of thing.

To be honest, I'm just as angry at most men as I am at most women. It just so happens that women (as well as men) don't like the antisocial type so much.

I tend to think of an LTR as a best friend who you would have sex with. It's amazing how different the female perspective can be. EDIT: are there guys out there who actually think about relationships in the kind of terms as the woman in the original post? Damn I'm tired.

You say you're calling me out on a logical fallacy, but I haven't drawn any improper conclusions. What matters is the agenda that the media is pushing, which is clearly anti-male in this scenario. The fact that they lied to try and push this agenda isn't really anything noteworthy.

You're right, but the actual study is pretty much irrelevant here because we're talking about the media's reaction to the studies.

I have to say, I noticed this myself. I don't really like when people try too hard to come up with women-bashing shit, but this is legitimate. About 95% of the articles were attempts to equate male birth control to female birth control, and that's apples to oranges. They have nowhere close to the same method of action. The study was stopped because the symptoms encountered by the men were deemed too serious from a medical standpoint. A large majority of the men participating in the study said th…

Very good post. Best I've read in a looong time, on here. I like the way the tone remains detached and unemotional. Too many people on here get pissed about the constant testing. To be honest, if a girl is right for you, you'll pass her tests easily (that was also mentioned in the post).

Okay. I was just confused because penis in vagina orgasms are a normal part of sex. I get the part where you want to add variety, but you make it seem like any normal penetration is boring for her.

I was that way until I got back into lifting. Now that I lift and take protein, I can fap all I want and still almost pop boners when talking to attractive girls. Oh I also think stopping drinking and not smoking weed helps a ton too. But seriously, since I started lifting, I was told that I have the hardest dick a girl ever felt. And that was just a random comment made without it being mentioned before. I guess it's not just lifting in my case, but I did stop smoking weed and drinking 2 months …

That works as long as you don't have one of those bitches who find out you came and then get totally turned off about it. Cuz she's gonna know something's up when you pull out and change what you're doing.

I agree. Women make such better students, but mostly in those classes where the goal is to regurgitate information word-for-word on tests (which is most classes). When it comes to classes requiring critical thinking, it's more even.

You don't seem to realize that some people are 100% bent on getting married. Either they'll get married or they'll never be serious with any woman. Then they learn their lesson and change. But you can't prevent it. It's like telling the slut not to bang the bad boys in high school.

If you're just using the literal definition of the word nurture, then the post isn't going to make any sense. OP uses the word slightly differently in this context, but I would agree with the overall premise of the post. Men do want a woman who is motivated by some form of desire which makes her sweet, submissive, and actively gracious.

But the fact that it's enjoyable isn't what's wrong with it. What's wrong with it is when it keeps you from doing the things you should do that are also enjoyable - like exercising. Exercising also stimulates dopamine-related pathways or whatever you wanna call them. By that OP's logic, exercise should also be eliminated.

This explains why I get a bunch of looks at the gym. I'm not really strong. Just got back into lifting after I stopped when I left high school. I used to wrestle, play football, the works. But I look big. I really do. I could definitely bench 200 once, but that's not really much. I see guys around me repping 245 6 times. However, I'm 6'2" and 220 pounds. My arms look big, yet defined, and same with my legs. I also have huge shoulders. It's a good thing they can't see my stomach though. Anyway, I…

It's interesting how many posts about fatness in almost the same exact body proportions as my own have been posted lately. I'm pretty close to what you were. 6'2" and 230. I never thought about the fact that I was fat until well... complications (kinda similar to yours). I was an athlete in high school. I graduated at a lean 184. Sigma can't exist in TRP because guys who can't comprehend anything but the binary classifications (Alpha and Beta) want to shit on everyone who isn't exactly like themselves. Alpha and Beta makes it easier to diss all guys who aren't exactly the same as other Alphas.

It seems like you don't understand other men, OP. Why the fuck do you care whether a guy is "using you" or not? That's pretty much how all relationships are. Mutual relationships are when you both use each other. If you don't like him, tell him to fuck off. This may seems counterintuitive, but if you want to befriend him, take something from him- information about himself, a secret, give him personal advice, shit talk him a little. Good post. I like thoughtful posts that aren't just about picking chicks up/getting sex and having game. In LTRs, using the power of validation is definitely crucial. If I ask my girlfriend how I look, it's because I want to make sure I'm presenting a good image for the world to see. If my girlfriend asks me how she looks, it's to make sure she has my approval.
/r/TheRedPill12/02/16 08:06 AM

IMO, if you're gonna LTR, you gotta bux it up to some degree. LTR means she's also judging you on your ability to provide things for her. If she's 9/10, you better bet that her expectations for a provider are much higher than average.

I like relationships because they're easy sex. If I were single, I couldn't wake up in the morning and just get sex. The main reason I'm in a relationship is for the sex. Because the sex is so accessible, I desire it more. When outside of a relationship, I don't really look for sex. I'm not a social person, so meeting new people doesn't happen. My girlfriend goes to the same university as me. She's doing well in school as well. I'm sure she'll be successful career-wise, but I'm not thinking that…

Didn't see that on the sidebar. I'm definitely a buffering machine. Not just when it comes to women, but really everything. I usually apply myself only toward the things for which I'm sure I'm qualified. It's kind of a way of life. I'm a high achiever, but only because I work hard and do well. I'm not a "fake it till you make it" kind of guy. I don't like people who try hard.
/r/askTRP11/02/16 09:12 AM

Thank you. Maybe I didn't read extensively enough, but I didn't find much advice for LTR men. I'll continue to look for more advice about that sort of thing. What do you mean by "building life's foundations?" I'm at a very good university. Career, and thus, school comes first, for me. If you would explain that point a bit further, I would appreciate it.

Should I be using tactics? I'm more of the opinion that a person is how they act. Why use alpha tactics if you can just be somewhat alpha by being wealthy, intelligent, respected by others, fun, and unique?
