I see these dumb pictures all over social media sites. It really infuriates me. Such a double standard. You will find some woman haters. Most of us aren't, but there is a not-insignificant minority of people here who don't get it. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/14 09:15 PM
Feminist, Laurie Penny, is a petulant, dishonest child of privilegeLots of different. | /r/MensRights | 31/03/14 11:33 PM
Has everyone else here read The Manipulated Man by Esther Vilar? Amazing book for the modern MRA.People can be sexist against their own gender. "Women just sit back getting lazier, dumber and more demanding..." is sexist, regardless of who says it, unless properly sourced and cited. It's a shame, because some of her points are really good, but it's tied up with crap. | /r/MensRights | 22/03/14 07:06 AM

this comic is fitting for here ....I didn't mean to imply that you thought or said that, only that that was the original point about the biological inequality. | /r/MensRights | 09/03/14 09:38 PM
this comic is fitting for here ....I think that he's talking about the physical part. A woman should be able to get an abortion. A man should not be able to force a woman to get an abortion. Both should be able (with some restrictions) to give up their claim to raising the child and their responsibility to raise the child. | /r/MensRights | 09/03/14 09:25 PM
Saw this on Facebook today. Surely this is illegal? It depends on if they're hiring chefs and dishwashers or waitstaff. Waitstaff may need to be Chinese as part of the job, but not people in the kitchen. | /r/MensRights | 07/03/14 06:19 AM
| -3 | Daily Reminder: Feminists really do hate menI didn't say any of that, although I don't necessarily disagree with all of it. /r/MensRights has a terrible reputation for a reason - as it is outside of the mainstream, it tends to attract people who are outside of the mainstream for other reasons. A lot of the people here seem to need to use terms like "Mangina Brigade" or "Pussy Pass." There isn't a double-standard in my behavior. If I were discussing the MRM and someone pointed to your post, I would point out that not all MRAs are like you.… | /r/MensRights | 07/03/14 06:11 AM |

Life forever changed by sex offender list, "After he was sentenced, the girl admitted she lied to avoid getting in trouble for having sex with her friend."A few prosecutions for perjury or falsifying a police report would really reduce this issue. | /r/MensRights | 07/03/14 02:33 AM

"97% of rapists don't spend a day in jail" - why this feminist statistic is dishonest, and harmful to victims. [Original Analysis]Sidenote: I am not a feminist. I am a gender egalitarian and have much more in common with the Men's Rights movement than with any feminist movement I know of. Credibility needs to be gained before it can be lost. MRAs here often cite faulty statistics. Feminists often cite faulty statistics. Neither group has ever had enough credibility with me that I took anything they said to be true without checking sources and doing the math myself. Daily Mail is trash. | 0 | "97% of rapists don't spend a day in jail" - why this feminist statistic is dishonest, and harmful to victims. [Original Analysis]It is a bit of an ad hominem attack. Statistics should be scrutinized and judged based on their merits and accuracy, rather than on who came up with them. A statistic is not "misleading, honest, and demonstrably false" simply because it is a "feminist statistic," and its truth or falsehood has no relation to the truth or falsehood of other "feminist statistics." | /r/MensRights | 28/01/14 04:48 PM
In Memory of all the Men that Protected Women from Danger/r/mensrights, not /r/menarebetterpeople. There have been heroic men. There have been unheroic men. There have been heroic women. There have been unheroic women. "Men" as a group don't have any specific attributes other than identifying as male (or a Y chromosome, depending on your point of view), and generally aren't particularly "caring people". | /r/MensRights | 27/01/14 06:58 PM

Quick question about DV statistics.Complaints by men are often disregarded at the source. If they're looking at filed police reports, then the fact that cops encourage women to file reports and discourage men from filing reports is going to substantially bias the results. The 85% statistic comes from a twelve-year-old study, and this bias was even worse then. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/13 07:36 PM
Rape is actually a "men's issue" -- but feminists still claim it as their own against men.Gendering an issue doesn't get you any closer to solving it. Rape is a problem for men. Rape is a problem for women. Neither of those facts makes the other any less true. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/13 06:37 PM
Does the idea and style of this app bother anyone else? It's been all over the sub, it's repugnant, making a similar product targeted at men would be just as repugnant. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/13 06:00 PM
Check out the new sub, /r/thingsworsethanrapeThis is only provocative. You don't counter the oppression olympics by forming a team for the oppression olympics, you do it by ignoring it. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/13 06:22 PM

Court orders woman to pay man $31,000 for 'sperm theft'This woman proved herself unworthy of trust. I don't think anyone here is saying that all women are unworthy of trust, but without a good way of distinguishing between the trustworthy and the deceitful, trusting anyone is a bad idea. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/13 04:06 PM
What does it mean when feminists say men's issues are feminist issues? Most traditional norms start as non-traditional norms, or at least as traditional norms among only a small population. The problem is that instead of simply allowing people to choose, feminists often tell them to abandon the traditional norms and take up a new set of norms. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/13 12:54 AM
This blog does nothing but attack those of us trying to advance the cause of mens rights and equalityCollecting things that offend you is a waste of time. The only thing that this could accomplish is increasing her readership. | /r/MensRights | 02/12/13 05:00 PM
Man attempts to teach woman to not be a pain in the ass on an airplane, but eventually ends up slapped. Doesn't press charges. Finds himself a nobleman amidst rabble when feminists take note.Disabled kitten block to read the article. Wish I hadn't. | 2 | Woman here...I want your opinion on the statement "Rape/abuse/domestic violence DOES happen to men, but it happens to women more often!"They define rape as forced penetration of a victim. Forced envelopment is simple sexual assault. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/13 06:59 AM
Opinion: Young men, get 'yes' a text before sexIt would be nice to be there, but we aren't. Until that becomes the status quo, people have to protect themselves. It doesn't do you any good to stand by the presumed innocence when you're being tried by jurors who don't or a judge who doesn't. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/13 02:46 AM
Opinion: Young men, get 'yes' a text before sexTeach both. It would be nice to have a society with morals, but until we get there everyone has to protect themselves. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/13 01:53 AM
Opinion: Young men, get 'yes' a text before sexI think the point was that the claimed order of events would be: Man texts self from woman's phone. Man rapes woman. Man texts self from woman's phone again. I doubt that the court would readily accept that, though. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/13 01:49 AM
"A man who suffered months of violence at the hands of his fiancee has spoken of his ordeal to help raise awareness of domestic abuse against men."To be fair, "Women's violence towards male perpetrators" would usually be defensive or retaliatory. It does seem like they're shifting the goalposts though. | /r/MensRights | 26/11/13 11:50 PM

My short time on MensRights.Feminists are a varied group, but a lot of "feminist theory" is toxic to actual progress of any sort. If your definition of feminism is simply trying to obtain equal rights and opportunities for women and men, then I'm a feminist. However, I will not cooperate with the feminist (or any other person) who says that sexist speech should be banned; I will not cooperate with the feminist who promotes affirmative action or quotas; I will not cooperate with the feminist who says that because I am a het… | /r/MensRights | 17/11/13 05:48 AM

| -1 | TIME: "How to help 'defective girls': What Schools Can Do to Help Boys Succeed. Brilliant article. Feminists are losing, and we are changing the world. It seems like the kids should be tested and placed in classes based on where they will thrive, rather than simply separated by gender, in order to prevent masculine girls or feminine boys from falling through the cracks. This would probably lead to some classes being mostly male and some being mostly female, but allow the groups to mingle during breaks. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/13 04:10 PM |
TIME: "How to help 'defective girls': What Schools Can Do to Help Boys Succeed. Brilliant article. Feminists are losing, and we are changing the world. You should assume that anyone may be a pedophile, male or female. | 1 | Calling out the moderators for lack of action on "this is not a men's rights issue" concern trolling. The reaction of society is a men's rights (or egalitarian) issue, but the woman's behavior is not. There was a post about a woman who called the cops after a love letter of sorts was left on her car. That isn't a men's rights issue, that's a single case of a paranoid person. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/13 07:44 PM
| -1 | Found in my College Text Book... Because men can't be raped...This works well in a vacuum, but if you know the person being accused you shouldn't just accept the claim. Obviously you wouldn't start interrogating the accuser, but you also shouldn't start treating the accused as though he or she has been convicted. | /r/MensRights | 25/10/13 12:24 AM |
Eating Meat, Male Bonding & Steakhouses lead to Misogyny. They got communism a while back, and it's really frustrating. Especially since there are more English-speaking feminists than communists, it basically means we don't get to discuss communism without feminism being shoved down our throats. | /r/MensRights | 24/10/13 10:56 PM
ABC will air a 20/20 program about Manosphere and Mens Rights groups harassing women online. Anita Sarkeesian has a starring role and will talk about the "abuse" she received from men online. I wonder if ABC will mention MRAs being attacked and abused by feminists in Toronto twice this year.Eh, that kinda evokes the sound of NAMBLA, and we have quite enough prejudice to deal with without drawing false associations like that. Perhaps instead of Men, we could say Male Human Rights Movement. | /r/MensRights | 17/10/13 03:23 PM

Girl makes boyfriend kneel in street and then slaps him infront of everyone because she thought he was cheating... Girl gets arrested. They say that until the person is tried and found guilty. | 6 | Just saying - I have NEVER been threatened with violence/berated verbally by an MRA. I have been threatened with violence/berated verbally by more feminists than I can count on both hands.I would also guess that the MRM is the subject of more than its fair share of false flag death threats. That seems right up SRS's alley. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/13 08:26 AM
Ok that's great... wait what!?!?It's too obvious. They're not going to ban you if you exist specifically to get banned in order to make them look bad. | /r/MensRights | 25/09/13 12:04 AM
When rape charges are dropped, it's not appropriate to call the accuser 'the victim'"Alleged" only means that someone has said something, but it has not (yet) been proven. It doesn't mean that what was said was false. | /r/MensRights | 17/09/13 11:36 PM
When rape charges are dropped, it's not appropriate to call the accuser 'the victim'We know that the car owner is a victim because he no longer has a car. We don't know that the woman was raped, so we don't know that she is a victim. Also, if it's a legitimate rape case, the courts have ways to try to shut the whole thing down. | /r/MensRights | 17/09/13 11:34 PM

Homeless man accused of rape to have conviction set aside because alleged "victim" made allegation in an effort to sue the county so she could pay off casino lossesIt wouldn't be an automatic "You lost, so now you have to do the time" type of thing. There would sometimes be a second trial (if the DA's office decides to prosecute), and the burden of proof would be just as high as in any other case. | /r/MensRights | 10/09/13 03:08 PM
The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notThey aren't bashing the people who are circumcised as children, and I doubt that most of them would say that it is wrong for you to choose be circumcised as an adult. The point is that the person being circumcised should make the decision, since it is his penis. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 02:45 PM

If someone tells you that they are a feminist, ask them to clarify their views and categorize them more exactly. The term feminist doesn't exactly mean egalitarian if we're looking at linguistics, and I see no value in holding the title when so many factions claim it. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/13 05:03 AM |

If this system is simply being used to judge how long someone is likely to live, then it seems only proper to show men likely to die younger. However, if the system is used to decide who receives care, then it is very wrong. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/13 05:50 AM |
Reuters, we have a problemhttp://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Public+trial I believe that this supports the right to waive a public trial. However, nowhere is it said that you have the right to choose between a public and private trial. So if the government and the defendant both want a private trial, they could, but neither could force a private trial. Regardless of the legality, it does not appear that the defendants in this case are trying to remain private. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/13 04:02 AM
