0	Study finds men are more empathetic than women “On average, males are more empathetic and thus more altruistic than females.” Besides the scientific definition what definition is there? Empathy is taking on the other persons emotions whether those emotions be good or bad. Sympathy is placing yourself in that persons position and processing how you would feel in their situation. There isn’t necessarily a scientific definition but in actuality it’s just the straight up definitions of the words.
