There is a ton of stuff my wife gets to do with our kids for fun & enrichment because she doesn’t have to waste her time and energy going to some stupid job. The money I earn is our shared money. Why any husband would rather his wife spend her time and energy commuting and slaving at some dumb job, if he has the ability to give her total freedom over her time, for her benefit and the benefit of the kids, is totally bizarre to me.

I’m a married guy (over a decade). I think prenups are bad. I think for a marriage to be successful, both people need to be “all in.” If you start your marriage with paperwork saying “but if it doesn’t work out,” that is so counter to the mindset needed for a lifelong marriage. It shows you a) think your partner might leave you (don’t marry them) or tells your partner b) I might leave you (who would want that?). Seems like such a self-fulfilling prophesy to me.
