Yes I agree you have to be able to do the job yourself and not to take extra time and be in others way. I would never defend someone inable to do a job and wasting others time by not accepting help they need. I was more so refferring to moments when the person is capable, not in the way or too slow and still is disregarded and has work done for them. There is an important distinction to be made and you have a valid point.

My personal stance on this is to never expect help from others, ask if you need it and offer help to others if you want to give it. And then accept the answer to your offer. Im an average-sized woman and when I worked in more jobs with lifting (stocking etc) a lot of my men coworkers offered to help me. When I accepted the help I appreciated it, but every now and then I would decline because I wanted to do the job myself. What upset me was when I would decline someone's offer of help and they wo…

r/PublicFreakouts has a few, but most tantrums thrown by men end up in a physical fight or brawl.

Yeah I get you, I'm terrified of unwanted touch from others, boundaries and consent are hella important. Im more of a run away and cry type(im still learning to deal with conflict) but fighting is just as reasonable option, as long as youre willing to accept the consequences. I will never understand how some people(often woman) start physical conflicts like this and not expect people to fight back/rightfully defend themselves.

I wasn't arguing against hitting her lol I mean it would have been better if they could have de escalated things but most kids havent learned good conflict resolution. Hopefully they both get punished equally by staff though, cause boy or girl, that behavior is not okay.

More than half of this sub is hating on woman and not actual pussypassdenied content these days.. From what i saw she grabbed his arm, he shoved her off, then she got in his face and he pushed for her for real and the fight started.

100% this. The only people who should give up seats are able bodies in priority seating, and only to those who need it (elderly, disabled, heavily pregnant).
