This Redditor was taken to the doctor by his mother for an examination when he was 14. His mother gave the doctor's 12-year-old daughter permission to be in the room and watch him while he was naked being examined. The Redditors mocked him for being bothered by the daughter being in the room. How'd you know it happened in Dublin though? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/08/24 08:47 PM

If anyone else is interested - Misogyny and Misandry with Michael Kaufman and Jude Kellylol fair enough. It's not as good as I remember it, but I think I just liked the fact that misandry was being discussed on "a large scale." Try searching up misandry on youtube and I doubt you'll find anything with more views than this (that is an actual academic discussion/debate). You have to view it through a historical lens. This was 10 years ago lol | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/07/24 03:24 AM
Another double standard that I've noticed on Social media recentlyYes, unfortunately, as stated they don't know too much about misandry but the guy does seem to try to understand - sometimes that's all you can expect from someone; to try. I've always thought to look them up (this video is 10 years old) and see if they're more aware now. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/07/24 02:23 AM
Another double standard that I've noticed on Social media recentlyI believe it's this: Misogyny & Misandry with Michael Kaufman and Jude Kelly - https://youtu.be/1z3gbj2mKfA?si=cHRfZXSYWey46hDI | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/07/24 01:40 AM
Another double standard that I've noticed on Social media recentlySorry to hear you went through this. Just like when discussing female privilege (and its relation to whiteness in America), it can be a tough conversation to have with people who have either never heard it, heard it but assumed it's an "MRA" talking point, or simply feels uncomfortable with intersectionality when it "makes women look bad." At least you were willing to have it. Sometimes people are just not ready to be receptive when it's something that forces them to change their world view or m… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/07/24 01:31 AM
Another double standard that I've noticed on Social media recentlyWatched a great debate/discussion on misandry and misogyny. Was caught off guard when the woman who was debating said she's never heard of misandry before and needed it explained to her. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/07/24 11:48 PM
What's the Focus of Menslib? In your second example wouldn't it be if people stated, "we cannot allow white people to regroup and talk about their issues unless they're supervised by a Black person who'll ensure the correct framework is used"... because, if analogous to your first example, the white people would be the (systemic) oppressors, no? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 19/08/23 11:45 PM
